This is a lovely salon - clean and peaceful. The owner Tina took the time to visit with me. I got a pedicure and it was terrific!

Just an update after 6 months. I've been coming in monthly for the last 6 months. My nail dip lasts that long. It would no doubt last longer, but after grow-out and 30 days of the same color, I'm always ready for something new. read more

I have been going to T Nails for years. They do an excellent job with nails and their atmosphere is peaceful and very clean. I've had my hair done there several times also and the results have always been excellent. If you want fantastic care and service, then this is the place for you! read more

Friend and I booked appointments here for 6pm. Was there on time and it was 6:40 before either of us started receiving our service. We got gel Manicures and regular pedicures. Both of our gel manicures were completely off within 4 days. I was leaving on a trip so I went to show them and they refused any type of compensation, only said I had to come back within two weeks of original date for a redo. No apologies or anything. Furthermore, my friend now has an infected toe from the pedicure. Never again. read more

Came in with a gift card that was issued in 2021. Per Iowa consumer law you have FIVE years to redeem a gift card. They took my gift card, refused to redeem it because as the woman said, "we get to decide that", (you don't. It's an actual law), and made me pay the whole thing. I have contacted the Iowa attorney generals office and the BBB with complaints. Don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

THIS REVIEW IS BASED SOLELY ON CUSTOMER SERVICE, but based on the customer service I will not be going to this place. Ever. So, let me start this review by saying that I live in Chicago and my boyfriend lives in IC. For my birthday last year, my boyfriend's mom got me a gift certificate to this establishment. I did not realize that it had an expiration date because most gift cards or gift certificates do not. Not to mention, when I do get to Iowa I have limited time. With that being said, anytime that I have encountered a deadline an establishment will usually allow me to still use it after the deadline because someone did pay for it. Well when I called the place the girl on the phone did not bend whatsoever. "I'm sorry you didn't realize there was an expiration" was her quick response. I find this completely ridiculous. I would NOT recommend buying a gift certificate here because they do not honor it, even if it is a little past the expiration date, they do not bend. read more

I've tried this place a few times over the past several months as it is super close and never a long wait. The service has always been mediocre at best, but doable when in a pinch. Today proved that it is possible to get worse and I refuse to go back. The person doing my pedicure was very rough, chiseling off the gel polish while jamming into my cuticles, instead of letting the gel polish soak longer or using the Dremel tool. Instead of asking me to move my feet in and out of the water, no words were spoken and she pulled and pushed me as needed. I literally had to pull my foot away so she'd stop and understand she was hurting me. After showing a picture of a nail design, my friend and I were told they could do it. We proceeded to pick out a main color to compliment the design, only to be told after the fact they couldn't do the design. We were left with a color that never would have been chosen on its own. The lady attempted a style on mine, but it is completely awful. I explained that we were not happy as we wouldn't have chosen the color if the design couldn't be completed, while literally nobody spoke up or acknowledged I was speaking. My cuticles are now super sore, one side is throbbing without even touching it, and I'm left with a $58 pedicure that my young niece could've completed better. I now have to pay to have this corrected elsewhere. This is unacceptable! read more

She is the only friendly one there. the rest of them do not talk to you and make you feel like a pain in the butt just for showing up. call ahead and schedule an appointment with Jenny. if she is not working that day then i suggest you go somewhere else. read more

I really enjoyed this salon! The reviews on yelp are pretty harsh so I was a bit skeptical. I was really wanting a relaxing pedicure, so I decided to give it a shot. With any busy nail salon, you can expect a faster possibly less quality experience as they are trying to accommodate everyone quickly. I thankfully went when they just opened and was the only one there. They were kind and very attentive, offered drinks and an excellent massage! I will be back! Finally found my favorite nail salon after looking forever in this area!! Jenni is my favorite tech, but all the girls are nice and extremely good at what they do. I come in with some crazy design and they're able to make it look even better than the picture. my nails also last way longer than any other place i've gone to! It's a great hidden gem in north liberty! read more

I have had a lot of pedicures in my lifetime and this one goes down as one of the worst. My first-grader could paint my nails with more precision. I had polish all over my skin and the foot massage was awful. Save your money and do not go to T Nails! read more

all I have to say is this , the lady that did my nails it wasn't the owner or his wife it because they were in the hospital having a baby this lady that did my nails was so rude she hurt my skin let the super glue stick on my skin she picked the wrong size nails to go on my fingers she was very very rude. I will never go back here again and I'm going to be calling better business or somebody that can do something about this lady if the owner can't get her attitude changed. this is the worst place I have been in 12 years to get nails done. don't waste your money. my nails looked so bad I had to come home and cut them off and soak my nails in acetone to get all the super glue off it was not even just underneath the nails but all over my fingers read more

Their computer check in system was confusing. Lots of choices for nails.. but not explained. They were busy. Staff was helpful and friendly. But didn't like front of store.... rather dirty... Plus location.. business on one side is a bar.. tavern. Didn't like that. Overall rating of this nail saloon is below average. read more
