This was my 2nd time at this place. The first time was several years ago like pre COVID times. I decided to give them another whirl since they are close to my home. I walked in around 6:20pm on Friday April 1st. I didn't realize they closed at 7pm. But I requested a mani and pedi and none of the 3 ladies there said anything about closing up soon. The pedi was good and no complaints on that end. My mani was rushed. At this point i picked up on the vibe after she kept starring at the clock. Not nice or pleasant at all. At times she came off as annoyed. I didn't realize they closed at 7pm until I walked to the counter to pay and realized I was the only one there and the other two employees were sitting in the spa/pedi chairs with their purses ready to go. I wished they would have said something and saved us all the uncomfortable feeling. I would have understood and just gotten the pedi. Anyway, As far as quality goes today is April 5th the pedi is still holding up okay. But my finger nails are horribly chipped. honestly expected at least a week out of them. Again I'm not even mad about it. It was a whole $16 for a basic manicure with regular polish, so I guess you get what you pay for. DONT EVER COME HERE!!!! I KNOW MANY PEOPLE WITH BAD EXPERIENCES!!! I would put ZERO STARS but I can't, I don't remember the mans name. He wasn't wearing a name tag but he sits on the 3rd or 4th table on the right. I called at 5:30pm asking if it was possible I could get a full set, he informed me they close at 6, I said okay but he still told me I can go in. I walk in and they first tell me a higher price than their actual price because they're "almost close" and they'd have to stay longer to do my nails. I said no, I wanted to pay the normal price. The two women, one was supposedly a manager and another employee were speaking in their language (I recorded them and sent it to my Vietnamese friend and she translated for me) they were complaining in their language that they didn't want to do my nails and they wish I would leave and how no one wanted to help me. At this point it's my turn for my nails to be taken care of. I informed the man who stayed for me that I wanted coffin nails, he said okay. He's showing me the length of my nails and I agreed the length was fine, he shaped one into a deformed coffin so I wasn't satisfied with it, I then told him I didn't like it he made a huge scene and continues to basically tell me my opinion wasn't a good one and that he already stayed late for me so I should just be satisfied with what he does. I didn't want to make anyone mad so I just told him "ok forget it, please remove the nails and I'll just go". He has the nerve to tell me "If I remove, you still pay $45" I told him "why should I pay? I won't be getting any service. I will pay for the plain nails but not the $45 full set price" The manager lady comes to me and apologized for him and told me "he's having a bad day" He shouldn't take it out on his customers!!! He wanted to get rid of me so bad that HE GRABBED ME BY MY WRIST AND BEGAN TO CUT OFF THE TIPS OF MY ACRYLIC NAILS HE PUT ON!!!!!!! I've never ever been so disrespected by a Nail Team in my life!!!! I started to cry and he THROWS MY HAND AT ME AND TELLS ME NEVER TO COME BACK!!!! Paid $40+ for SNS nails that were supposed to last a month... they barely lasted two weeks and they started chipping and cracking. I went in to get the Chipped SNS off and get a basic mani instead the nail was friendly and sweet but my basic mani was terrible. My nails polish is extremely bumpy and looks like a 5-year-old painted my nails, had I not been talked into paying for my nails before the paint job started I would have said nevermind. After my terrible manicure was done I was then rushed out without much regard ----they closed the nail salon 10 minutes early. I asked for my natural nails to be evened out and she did not do it. Both times I have been to Pearl Nails I have been disappointed and I feel like my money has been wasted. I will not be returning ever. read more

Everytime I get a set down my nails get moldy, nail tech said it moisture but the nails be a fresh set so how can moisture get under. This has happened both time I got brand new sets in a matter of days of getting the set. I'm starting to think their tools and products are not sanitized. I won't be returning. read more

I don't leave many reviews because I normally try to understand where owners or businesses are coming from. Well I've been thinking about my experience at this nail salon for over a week. Obviously it was not a good one. I can't say the whole trip was a waste, my pedicure was FANTASTIC!! But a set of nails cost me over $50, which had they been done correctly or even like decent I wouldn't be writing this review. NO!!!! Most of my nails are crooked as hell and on top of that they look like press on nails. Also to top it off, they are all lifting by the cuticle. I've been tempted to just break them off but again $50 down the drain ‍. My nice little spa day ruined by just looking at my nails. I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

I just moved to the area and was looking for a place I could go to regularly. The first time I went, I was fairly happy with the results but the SNS was a little thick. The second time, I was so upset with the results. The SNS was thick, glue everywhere, my entire nail wasn't covered on two fingers, my technician burned me with the file, I didn't get to wash my hands after the filing, and my nails were not finished with gel polish like I normally see. My only regret is that I didn't try this place first. We moved to Texas 6 months ago and I've tried a few other places... everywhere else has been meh or acceptable. My experience here was great! I was taken right in without an appointment and given great service. Got the deluxe pedi and a regular manicure. Polish is perfect and didn't feel pressured to add on extras like gel. Plus the nail technician didn't make me feel bad about picking my cuticles (nervous/stress habit). The salon was clean, quiet and relaxing. They also offered beverage service. This is the worst gel manicure I have ever received. In less than one week two of the nails began to chip. I went back to the salon and the lady redid the nails. Not even two days later the others began chipping. I went back today after being frustrated with the nail polish snagging everything and asked them to remove the nail polish. After she drill off the top layer of two nails, she began to tell me that if I had some type of powder the nails would last. I said I never had to do that before and my polish would last for weeks. She then proceeded to say it would be $8 to remove the polish. I said absolutely not. You expect me to pay $30 for a piss poor job, now another $8 to remove your mess? Never again. Went in yesterday for the first time and we won't be returning there ever again. I took my mom and my daughter there for Valentines Day, our nails came out ok. My mother said the nail tech that did her nails was really rough. I always get gel polish on my toes. I told my nail tech that I wanted gel polish and he just kept telling me how expensive it is. This place gets 1 star because I can't leave it blank. Walking in it's a nice place. The mani and pedi both felt rushed. I left with acrylics that were pointing in different directions. I'm literally in tears while I'm writing this review! The lady who did my pedi began painting my nails and when I asked her if it was gel she got mad and began removing the polish. The other lady in there with her began a conversation and I may not have understood what was being said but I understand body language and they kept saying "gel". After I told her to just remove the polish Id go elsewhere, she began to yell at me. So I paid $88 for crooked nails with no polish on my toes. First time here. My mom and I both got deluxe spa pedicure for $38 plus flower design. Both women gave really good leg and food massages which felt so good. Designs were simple and cute. They also give 5% discount if you pay cash. Their massage chairs gave a deep back massage which I loved. Nice simple clean salon. We'll be back. read more

So. I'm giving 2 stars only because I genuinely feel like they were overall very friendly, but it was by far the worst set of solar nails I've ever gotten. I had to go somewhere else 2 days later to completely replace the set I got there. I tried several times while he was doing my nails, to explain that they were all the wrong shape, bumpy and too thick but he just kept making more mistakes and it just kept getting worse. Just left the salon moments ago, and I'm a little annoyed. Came into the store at 3, and it wasn't busy at all. The service I received was rushed and they made a lot of sloppy mistakes, and honestly I don't know if they didn't noticed or if they didn't care but they were noticeable to me. I'm done coming here, they always mess my sns up, so this level of service is not a one time thing. My nails are not all the same length or shape. There are spots the full color is not there. Not really happy with my nails, maybe I'm too picky or just have a standard. The guy helping me, ended the service with" are we done", to which I replied "yep". Didn't do basic parts of my pedicure (didn't trim the skin around my nails and cuticles) the sea salt scrub was slapped on then instantly washed off, and I have polish all over my toes. I really wanted to like this nail salon, it is so close and convenient. The salon was attractive and the massage chairs were great. I was offered a drink immediately. My person was polite and gentle. Since it was my first time at this salon I had the basic pedicure - priced $27 for 30 minutes. I've posted two pictures titled sloppy work so that you can see for yourself. Polish ran on the outside of my big toe, the edges of several of my nails appear to lack polish at all. Perhaps it was just my person as there were some others in the salon who seemed to be pleased with their pedicures. Sandy did a great job on my pedicure - very meticulous. However, I was turned over to a gentleman at the front of the salon for my dip nail manicure and he did a terrible job. He raced through it faster and more carelessly than I've ever seen and now, only 2 days later, 6 of my nails have chipped. When he was done he didn't offer me the opportunity to wash my hands and I realized after I left that I still had dip powder on my skin. I was very impressed with the detail and covetous, quick service. It's easy to miss when your on 685 So slowdown and check it out.

We've been going to Pearl Nails for a while. Some of the positives: 1) They always listen to my 9 year old daughter and treat her like a real customer (other salons in the area don't do that!) 2) The atmosphere is great! Clean and relaxing. 3) They have margaritas, wine, sodas, or water. 4) Every time we've gone in there hasn't been much wait and we've been able to get seated and serviced quickly--even on a Saturday. Some of the areas for improvement: 1) Sometimes I don't get the exact nail shape I want even though I specifically state "very square" (once out of every 3 visits this happens.) 2) Sometimes when my husband or daughter go too, they finish first, and then my services are rushed so that there aren't waiting people around the salon (this isn't all the time, but when it happens I feel like I'm not getting what I'm paying for.) We still always went back because more often than not, the experience was positive! Would definitely recommend to friends in the Pflugerville area. read more

Worst nail place I've ever been to by far! As soon as i walked in i was greeted, i asked if they do ombré nails just pink and white but they look very confused which was my first clue to just walk out. One of the technicians finally said they knew and got started. He was in a rush the whole time and i had to keep pointing out the flaws but he would barley fix them. My nails came out crooked, uneven and someone of the white paint had a yellow color near the tips of my nails. I also got a pedicure. When i sat down they were rushing me yet again and asked me to pay before i was even done! Don't go there, they're way over priced for mediocre nails and rush you in and out!
