We are very pleased with pearl remodeling. Jacob came to me with a competitive estimate and he was able to point out in detail the things that would be required to remodel our driveway. We worked on the driveway as well as widen the curb. Well he encountered some obstacles in obtaining the permit for widening both areas, since culver city has certain restrictions that Los Angeles does not. However he was able to make a few changes and obtain the permit. He did have to go back 4 times though, but he did it. In the meantime he brought in samples. Again another obstacle because the color and company we wanted to use to get the pavers from would delay the work three weeks. So we went with another company who had immediate stock, he made suggestions on mixing paver colors to almost match the look that we wanted. As soon as the permit was obtained, it only took them 6 working days, from demo to cement to finish the job. We had pavers put in our driveway. The workers did a fantastic job I must say. They worked ceaselessly for two days in hot summer heat to lay down the gravel, sand and pavers. A couple more days to put in the polymeric sand and sealer. One more day to redo the apron on the street. The finished work looks like a plaza where we should dance and party! Everything needs to dry and cure so really we can't park on it for another 6 days, but in the mean time it looks beautiful. Pearl is wonderful in that Jacob is very responsive to my texts or calls, he deals with problems without much delay, and he does the job efficiently and reliably. My sister also had pavers done with a much less reliable AND cheaper contractor, and she is still waiting for him to finish, and it hasn't been sealed. Thanks Pearl for a wonderful job! read more

Didn't get any service because my job was too small, just small siding repair, but Ron was very gracious and answered my request quickly. He pointed me in the right direction and gave me some good advice. Most contractors will just send you a robo, "Cannot service" message and leave it at that. It was a wise decision. Avi Shushan and I agreed on a consultation visit. He was punctual and he immediately understood my vision. We set out to order appliances and equipment to do a high-end kitchen remodel, and agreed on a start date. With the exception of some hiccups related to delivery of materials, no fault of Avi's nor Pearl, I had the best experience ever in a home project. We had a covered patio installed a few years ago. We decided to interview several contracts to enclose it into a patio room. Ori, from Pearl Remodeling, came to do the estimate. He knew immediately what needed to be done. They don't do just patios but everything you dreamt they can build for you. We also needed to tile the floor and demo the sliding door to open the living room stepping down to the patio room. Thus we didn't need to hire different contractors to accomplish the task. They did an excellent job from start to finish. It took less than 2 weeks for them to order the materials and only took a day to enclose the patio. We remodeled two bathrooms, kitchen and laundry, and most of the electrical and lighting over three months this year and everything was smoother than I imagined it would be. We always knew the cost for each stage and option. Ben made great suggestions along the way as we tweaked our plans. Ben is very responsive and easy to communicate with. The project was actually finished ahead of schedule. At the time of the remodel we were living in Kansas so everything was done from long distance. We traveled to the job site three or four times. We replaced all fixtures and flooring and are thrilled with the result! The workers were respectful of our small space and new infant during construction. After talking to several contractors and kitchen companies to help us with our kitchen remodel and to replace all of the flooring in our downstairs, we decided to go with Pearl Remodeling. Gal took a lot of time to understand what we were looking for and helped us to design the perfect kitchen for our family. I wasn't sure about going with real wood or tile that looked like wood for our flooring and Gal talked us through the pro/con, costs and time involved with both options (we decided on tile due to our dog).
