Can we talk about how good this boba is?! The texture of the pearls is chef's kiss and the tea flavor actually tastes real -- not syrupy. I'm obsessed already. 10/10 recommend!

Love that you can choose your sweetness level. The only other place I've gone to like that is the tea place at the mall, which I don't like going to. Such an adorable place and they have it decorated so cute. So far, the two I've tried tasted really good. We've been twice and will go back. Love that it's so close. They are very nice there and friendly. They were so sweet and kind. My son dropped his outside and they gave us a new one at no extra charge. I tried to pay but they wouldn't let me. Stop in! It's worth it! We have so many bubble tea places and I find them all to be way too sweet for me. This place is great. They also have a unique selection of different foam toppings!

Such a cute little tea shop! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't know what to order and she guided us in a great direction. The tea was flavorful and we appreciated that it wasn't too sweet.

The tea shop was so cute! The interior is on the small side, but the ambiance makes up for it. The staff was friendly, and the pace of service was usual, not too long or too fast. The tea itself was delicious and the cup size was great for the price! I loved the premade menu and their fun names! I will definitely be back.

Of the milk tea spots in UP, this one is the best! Tea has a good tea flavor, toppings are flavorful with perfect texture. Not too sweet either, unlike the other spots. This is dangerous for me because its just up the street from where I live and will be sorely tempted to get one too often! Recommended!

The mochi donut flavors that I saw were : funnel cake, churro, taro, cookie butter, and coconut fudge. You can order using the self service kiosk and use Apple pay, which I prefer to do. Menu prices are about the same on DoorDash, which is great considering there are sometimes huge markups to balance out their fees. (Cost): $4.85 + tip (Location): It is in a very busy shopping area near Trader Joe's and Safeway. There is plenty of parking, but the area gets extremely packed, I prefer to park a bit away and then walk there. The area is very nice-- I would describe it has middle class to upper middle class. I love how beautifully decorated this shop is. Seating consists of a medium size couch, two benches, some seating by the widow l, and a table with 3 chairs. (Service): Excellent! Despite being busy working on items, the employee greeted me as I entered and was very polite when he gave me my order. What I didn't like was how rude one of the delivery drivers was. He greeted them and they simply shove their phones in his face without saying anything after yelling for him to come from the back. I hope drivers like that learn some manners or are removed from the shop. (Food): 16 oz Thai Tea Creme Brulee (5/5)-- according to the self checkout machine this drink is quite popular and I can see why! It was the perfect amount of sweetness, and the boba wasn't too soft or firm. I only wish I had gotten the bigger size.

They have a great selection of unique and interesting combinations that I haven't seen elsewhere, such as the Strawberry Hendrix and the Froot Loop. If you're lactose intolerant they have almond milk, coconut milk, lactose free milk, soy milk, and oat milk! (Cost): $10.92 + tip (Location): The interior is beautifully decorated and while not that big, there are quite a few places to sit. It's near a normally busy shopping area that has a Target, Walmart, Crumbl, and etc. There is plenty of parking. The area is decently safe. (Service): Great, the employee greeted me right away and gave me my online order-- which was thankfully completed farrr earlier than the 40 minute eta on Doordash. (Food): King Brulee Milk Tea (5/5)-- I added extra boba, extra caramel drizzle, changed the milk to soy, and requested no ice ($1) . This was exactly the sugar rush that I wanted and the boba was the perfect consistency. I loved everything about this drink. I was super hungry before drinking it, but I ended up being full for several hours after doing so!

You can tell they're putting effort into the customer experience even while still new. The space is what really stands out. Restrooms were clean, which is always a plus.

I didn't ask if it was ceremonial matcha. However, given how green the drink stayed after we mixed it, makes me assume it is ceremonial. Loved the strawberry matcha! Very sweet and strong! Service was great! The girl working was nice and made sure to confirm if I wanted an ice drink, the type of milk, and informed me that the oat milk was an extra charge. Will definitely be coming back to try more drinks soon!

While I have cafes I prefer in Lakewood, I wanted to try something new, so I found EM Boba & Coffee after looking up places online I ordered the Vietnamese coffee with the egg cream topping. I go to quite a few Vietnamese cafes in Seattle, so I have my standards. Unfortunately, their coffee did not meet my standards at all. The coffee tasted like it was made straight from one of those Vietnamese instant coffee packets. I do drink that here and there at home, but it's not the kind of taste I want from a cafe. The egg cream was pleasant though and helped make it taste better. I probably wouldn't come back for the coffee, but I'm still interested to see what the other drinks were like.

They had samples of their black sesame rice Krispy treat and it was really good, not too sweet and very nostalgic of a classic childhood treat. We just had a meal next door so we didn't need a snack so we'll order that next time. My boyfriend got the ube coffee while I got a summer special drink (can't remember which one) and it was what we were looking for: refreshing and not too sweet. Now the biggest issue that I came across is when I asked for no ice in my drink, the employee gave me an apologetic smile and said she would try her best. As you see in the picture, it isn't completely full. Now I saw a review that complained about a similar issue and the business owner said that you can just let staff know that you want the cup to be filled and they would do their best to accommodate. Not sure if that is just miscommunication or just something the owner said to seem like they are solving the issue but it seems really unprofessional. I understand that it can alter the drink's intended flavor but I ask for no ice all the time and am always happy with how it turns out. You check my photos of drinks from other places and I always ask for no ice as I have sensitive teeth and I don't like the condensation it causes. Other than that issue, it's good to see Lakewood have a nice boba and coffee spot. Additionally, they have two crane machines and board games to enjoy too. They are also dog friendly as long as they are well-behaved and don't cause any messes.

The shop itself is pretty small with only a few seats and tables and there wasn't any customers present when I first walked in but it has a nice aesthetic going on so I'd imagine it would be an ideal place to chill with friends if you're craving boba; otherwise, nothing wrong with picking up your fave drinks and skedaddling home either. There was just one employee behind the counter when I entered the shop, but it wasn't busy so it was fine and once more people started coming in after me and a line was forming, another employee showed up to help out. The service was actually really good though, and the worker was super nice, quick, and got my order right even though he was solo at first. I ordered three drinks: the taro Oreo slush, coconut matcha latte, and Thai tea (with boba in the last two), and they were all SOOO good. The drinks were super creamy and flavorful, and the boba was made really well. Like soft and chewy, not hard at all. I also got two macarons (a créme brulée and a matcha), and omgoth, they're not the tiny ones you usually see. They're pretty big and thick, which explains the approximate $4.50 price, but they were totally worth it. Definitely suggest trying at least one. Prices overall felt pretty average for boba, not cheap but not crazy either. Oh yeah, I think the drinks only come in one size (I don't recall there being a Small or Large option). There's a lot of parking since it's in an Asian plaza, but it does get really busy because Sol Boba is right next to H Mart, so there was practically no parking in front of the shop and I feel like the spaces are kinda tight. There is banner/sign saying "under new management" at the front, but since this was my first time visiting, I can't really say much on that? Overall though, it was a great first-time experience since the drinks were delish so I will definitely come back!
