The main entrance room has fridges stocked up with macro-friendly meals and snacks as well as energy drinks, protein shakes, etc. They also have Iron Sight merch that you can purchase. Right when you walk in (and even from outside), you can hear the music. Even with noise cancellation, you can still hear the gym's music so if that's not your thing, this gym might not be for you- it's all rap and latin music so at least it's not like a Planet Fitness playlist lol. This gym is very spacious (8400 sqft). There's a powerlifting side with lots of combo racks and 5 (I think) deadlift platforms. There's plenty of bars (TSS, OHP, etc) with all the kilo weights. Even when the gym is at its busiest, I never had to wait that long to get a rack. There's also a bodybuilding side where there's plenty of machines and dumbbells to workout with. And in the far corner, you have cardio machines and turf space to warm up. As for amenities, there are only two bathrooms and the only light source inside is a LED strip light (dark green). Personally, I like brighter bathrooms so I can check up on myself in the mirror before stepping back in the gym. I also wish there was an extra table or space to put my clothes down for when I change. But in one of the bathrooms, they have extra deodorant and perfume which is going to come in real handy because this gym does not have AC and the summers in Houston are brutal. The only places where this gym has AC is the main entrance room and the posing room (yay for posing room)! In terms of pricing, the initiation fee is expensive ($100) but the monthly membership is $65 and they offer discounts to students and first responders which is nice. In terms of the gym itself, I would give it a 4/5 but the workers and owner are 5/5! The staff here are all extremely friendly and always make you feel so welcome. Not to mention, everyone who works out here is always more than happy to spot/support you! I recently began tagging along with my friend since he has unlimited guest passes with his membership. I very much appreciate him for letting me freeload during my last several weeks in Pearland but man, I'm happy to start going to another gym now. To be fair, this gym has most of the essential weightlifting equipment. The only thing I couldn't find was a hip thrust machine. However, so many of the machines felt subpar to use. Take the hip abductor and adductor machines for example. It's missing handles to hold on for stability, the seat was too short and I nearly slipped off, and the leg pads are placed way before most people's knees. The leg extension felt similarly awkward to use; it doesn't follow the natural range of motion at the knee hinge. The seated hamstring curl doesn't have a knee rest, the rear delt machine handles are a little unstable... you get the idea. This review could still have skirted by with 3 stars if it weren't for the poor sanitation. The men's restroom near the pool looks and smells disgusting. I initially figured it was just a wet floor from the nearby showers, but the wetness concentrated near the toilets and reeked of urine. In addition, the lifting areas need more cleaning stations. The ones that do exist only have paper towels and hand sanitizer, but no wet wipes. The most comical part of 24 Hour has to be that it's not even open all the time. It only provides 24 hour access from Tuesday through Thursday. Mondays are open 5AM-midnight, Fridays midnight to 9pm, and weekends 6AM-8PM. That only leaves the swimming pool and basketball court as the gym's saving graces since many gyms in Pearland have neither. A membership might suit those amenities well, but for weightlifters? Pack it up and find another gym.

I was wearing yoga pants and a t-shirt. There was little guidance or monitoring from the instructor, as she stayed in the kitchen area (an old home), which was quite far from some of the reformers. In introductory classes, the instructor should demonstrate breathing techniques and how the form should look. I emailed them, and they called me back to address my issues. The instructor said she did not mean to come across as rude when she asked about my clothing; she thought I was wearing scrubs. She also acknowledged that she should be more evenly focused on the class. In my first class, we started on jump boards, and I did not see enough instruction overall. I appreciate the call, but I do not want to hurt my body by going to a Pilates class that felt unsupervised. The music was great, and I appreciated the aesthetics. If you like more boot camp classes, it feels like that inside.
