I love this clinic. I've been coming here for years. Which is why I'm surprised they don't have a handicap door assist button for their disabled patients. Unfortunately a patient in a wheelchair and whoever she had with her struggled to get into the clinic today and I can only imagine how much easier it would've been for them to be able to have a handicapped door assist today. It's a simple button to install for the consideration of the handicapped community which is still so clearly neglected. I hope there are improvements made in the future to accommodate handicapped patients, especially when no one is present to help them. read more

Pearle Vision at 2370 E Arapahoe was fantastic. The eye exam was very thorough and the best. 2 previous glasses that I got were not useful but I can finally see distance clearly. Really disappointed in these folks. I tried to get an eye exam twice from them. First time.. the excuse was retina was scratched and no reading could be had. I paid what they asked not giving it much thought. I was told to return and get the eye exam. This was going to be delayed several weeks due to knee replacement. Fast forward, surgery completed and I still need my vision checked. I again was supplied with a list of BS charges and another copay. I called Humane to be told there is no charge for routine vision checks. I do not get any other testing done as I have a retina specialist... only need vision checked for new glasses. They did not back off of the bogus charges and I left. PLEASE know your benefits before falling into an untrustworthy practice, read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at an eye doctor--and I've been to many eye doctors. I showed up with insurance and was charged over $100 upfront before any exams which was an exam for glasses and contacts. I have never had to pay before an appointment, especially not that much when my insurance typically covers at least most of the exam. After the exam, I was directed to look at glasses but had to practically beg for assistance. When I finally received help from Kim Woods, I felt rushed and pushed toward a pair of metal frames that didn't suit me. I was told they would be saved to my profile, but I made it clear I wanted to come back with my partner before making a final decision. On my second visit, I returned with my partner and selected a completely different pair--plastic frames. However, when I came back weeks later to pick up my glasses, they had ordered the original metal frames instead. When I brought this up, I was told those were the frames I chose, which made me feel dismissed and like my concerns weren't being taken seriously. After confirming with my partner that we had indeed chosen the plastic frames, I had to return again to correct their mistake. Despite the error being on their end, I waited two hours for assistance. I was initially told I wouldn't have to pay anything additional to fix the issue, but days later I received a call saying I owed over $150 for new lenses. In total, I ended up paying around $600 for glasses--even with insurance--due to repeated errors on their part. To make matters worse, when I went in to pick up my corrected glasses, I asked for my contact lens prescription. I was told--nearly three months after my initial visit--that it had never been finalized and they had forgotten to follow up with me. After four visits, I finally have the glasses I wanted, but the entire process was frustrating, disorganized, and unnecessarily expensive. I've had significantly better experiences at smaller offices with fewer staff. I would not recommend this location based on my experience. read more

I had my eyes examined here 4 months ago. Since then I have been unable to obtain a copy of the prescription for my progressive lenses. Now they say it's been so long I need to have my eyes checked again. This has been a frustrating experience, a waste of time, and money. Now, I'll have to go elsewhere and get my eyes tested again! Wow! I just had a absolute amazing experience here! Needed to reorder contacts and both the lady in the front and lady who ordered helped me and the entire process was super fast! Out in 10 minutes! Contact pricing for a year supply was affordable compared to other locations I've been and with the rebate of $100 mail in, can't beat it! I highly recommend this business! My eyeglasses inexplicably disintegrated in my hands prompting my visit to Pearle for a new pair. I am, admittedly, extremely selective about my frames and had an unhealthy attachment to the pair I had. I was seriously bummed to learn they had been discontinued, otherwise I would have 100% purchased the exact same frames. Alas, it wasn't meant to be and I found myself shopping around for new eyeglasses. I had already unsuccessfully searched at my eye doctor's office and 2 other retail stores, so I knew I needed a place with a large selection to suit my very picky taste. Fortunately, Pearle met the challenge. I was assisted immediately by a very nice gentleman, Chris. He first looked at the pieces of my old frames, confirming they were a lost cause and allowing me a brief period of mourning before gently nudging me towards the racks of shiny new options. I was having a hard time letting go of my old frames so he tried his best to find a doppelgänger. It quickly became clear that my broken frames were a rainbow unicorn that couldn't be replicated, but his patience didn't waiver as he pulled option after option for me to try. Once we had gone through Pearle's entire fleet of eyeglasses (twice) with no success, he got creative and moved over to the sunglass section, popping the dark lenses out so that I could see how those frames might look with clear lenses. Eureka! I found a pair I didn't totally hate and, surprisingly, they weren't the most expensive pair in the store. (While I feel a bit like I'm cheating on my old frames, I will reluctantly admit that I actually do really like the new ones!) After a few additional decisions, facial measurements, and paperwork, he assured me that my new glasses would be ready in 7-10 days. The entire process was pretty painless (if you factor out the whole mourning period) and on Day 8 I received the text that my new glasses were in! I picked them up a couple days later and we are getting to know each other now. I'm optimistic we'll have a long, healthy relationship. B O T T O M L I N E : Go! The opticians have always been kind, friendly and helpful. Separately, I'll note that my first less than positive experience was during an eye exam where I had a very uncomfortable experience. After mentioning I use a certain type of eye drops, I was given eye drops that turned my eyes yellow to check for dry eye. I was then pitched a very expensive procedure that would help with my "dry eye" and potentially have cosmetic benefits. I declined and purchased a very expensive set of frames and lenses (very little insurance benefit applied). Recently I went in as I had broken my glasses. They were unfixable but it was suggested I visit a place that might be able to solder them. I have been to the recommended "fix it" place and don't care to go again. Sadly, I ordered new frames with them directly. I discovered after the fact that I paid WAY too much for the frames and then couldn't cancel the order. My fault for charging ahead. At the same time I ordered new lenses for an existing frame. I've spent a good deal at this location over the last year. When I called to try and cancel the order and then expressed my disappointment, their reaction was only to say, "OK, is there anything else we can help you with". There wasn't even an acknowledgment of my concern. They clearly don't care to retain a customer. They have my money and apparently other customers. As a result, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I had a great experience here for my annual eye exam. I saw Dr. Lisa Pallagi and she was friendly and professional. I recently switched eye insurance so I had to change vision providers and my daily contact brand (so they were covered under the new coverage). Dr. Pallagi was great about telling me which brand she thought would work best, giving me a sample and as an added bonus they had a full year of contacts in stock (that literally never happens for my prescription at other places I have gone). That was a nice bonus. I worked with Seth (I think) on glasses and it was a smooth process. Lots of selection from economical to designer. And again, bonus, the glasses were done in 2 days!! Wow! Seriously, I have had a couple years of really bad eye doc experience ELSEWHERE, but I will come back here next year. It was a really great experience all around. read more

I made a mistake by giving my credit card instead of my HSA debit card, and they said "no problem". We'll fix it for you. All with a smile. They make you feel comfortable and welcome. I visited Pearle Vision last week. I have never had such a plesant experience getting glasses. Allie was a complete joy to work with. She took her time helping my husband and me find just the right glasses!! I have never been more pleased with my glasses!!! Dr. Pallagi was amazing as well and she detected something during the exam which prompted me to visit my primary care physician the next day. Apparently, my blood pressure was extremely high. My doctor is working on getting it under control now, but these folks quite possibly saved my life - or at least prevented a very serious medical issue. This place seems very unorganized. I scheduled an apt for 8:20am. I received a confirmation call the day prior. When I showed up 15 min early all the lights were off inside. Looking closer I saw that the door said they opened at 9am. I checked Google and it said they open at 9. So I called. Their voicemail says they open at 9. I waited until 8:15am and saw no one. I called one more time and this time left a message. At 8:28am I received a call. "This is Pearl Vision. I just want to apologize for the confusion and we actually are here and open. We've just recently changed our hours. So there's places that are not reflective are reflecting that yet. So I did have you on for 820. I do have time this morning. If you're still around and want to come and you're more than welcome to if you just want to get back online and schedule another appointment you can do that as well. I give me a call. If you get a chance, it's 720-283-2020 again, so, sorry for any confusion thanks. So much bye bye." She recommended a different brand of contact lenses and I didn't know Toric lenses could feel this comfortable and be so clear. After having initially a good time and joking with the staff it quickly turned into something pathetic as far as customer service. Mainly I'd say unprofessional and immature about the situation. I came in one week before and purchased sunglasses on my insurance because I just got lasik and no longer had a prescription. I paid like 30 bucks out the door with a check. That day I make an appointment for my 8yr old daughter for today. I take my daughter in and she doesn't need glasses. so I decide to get her some sunglasses. Pretty much do the same thing I did last week. Due to the lack of education for customer service for the non-educated ophthalmic medical tech oh wait that what you would be if you went for formal education..... Tells me he will call and see what my insurance says about sunglasses. On story short we end up arguing back-and-forth not only about being unprofessional and uneducated for her stuff but also the simple fact that she's smiling and smirking at me at the same time being just as an educated because she has no answers. Then says that she wants me to repeat it after she stood there listening to both conversations about the situation. But of course didn't want to step in at that time until it escalated then began to smile and almost laugh at me. I'm very educated and very professional. During all of this I was writing out a check for the copayment which is a measly $10. She (the OD) was having trouble running my check and getting me out a payment receipt then finally did and didn't even say thank you for coming in and just left it on the counter then went back to her office. I really suggest no one ever going here I can suggest many other places around here that take the same insurance which is imed or pay out-of-pocket because it's worth it just simply for the human decency. By the way this is not my first experience here I've had several experiences and none of them have been out of the way genuinely positive. So if you have questions I need answers don't go here. They have none. At the end of the day I finally walked out with no information, no sunglasses, and no appreciation for business. I hope your affected by HCAPS. read more

I recently gave a negative review for this location due to how I was treated. I was contacted immediately by the owner Dr. Lisa Hamilton about my review. I explained everything to her and she listened. She apologized over and over and was eager to rectify the situation. Dr. Hamilton met me at the Centennial location on her day off to give me a new eye exam. She was very thorough and professional during the exam. It turned out that my prescription was different from my previous visit. I needed a progressive lens in my glasses which is more expensive but she took care of that charge and we reordered new glasses. During my visit, Dr. Shuman who I had given the bad review about came up to me and apologized for her previous behavior. I thought that was very nice and professional of her to do that. After years of being prescribed the wrong contact lenses and being able to only wear glasses because my prescription was so high, I saw Dr. Lisa Pallagi by chance. She was beyond incredible. She was kind, knowledgable, and got me in to my first great pair of contacts at nearly 40 years old. The rest of the staff was very helpful and I now try to recommend everyone to Dr. Pallagi. 5 stars? Not enough. It is important for an optometrists to get the prescription right, and they do that. However they don't stop their, customer service is a number one focus for this office. That's why they deserve more then 5 stars. I didn't even need glasses but every question asked was answered before I got the chance to ask by Dr. Waters. He explained to me why I might be feeling pain on one eye, and made suggestions to help me. On top of that I also saw the opticians up front constantly talking to people and helping them find good pairs of glasses.
