I had my eye exam and I purchased eye glasses as well as sun glasses paid over 600 dollars for both. I have gone back 4 times for the sunglasses and still can't see out of them. I was told I would be given a refund. And I have not received it yet. I called today was told they don't give refunds since the lenses were specifically made for me. I explained they we're not made for me if I couldn't see out of them. Asked for corporate number was denied that information. read more

My usual eye Dr couldn't get me in for 6 weeks and after having some new vision problems, I was able to get in here within a few days. I was hesitant, but the Dr and staff were the best. The staff was incredibly friendly, honest about what would work best and kind. The Dr was timely and truly a breath of fresh air. I will now be switching to this office after finding out my prior doc gave me the wrong prescription but quite a bit. The doc here was professional about the others error and made me extremely comfortable. Their prices are reasonable and their extensive testing onsite is wonderful. Highly recommend. read more

Went there today 15 minutes early for my scheduled appointment, which was a total train wreck I had filled my paperwork out online to make it easier 50 minutes later I told the girl working there that I had to leave we could reschedule this or something, she replied your next an hour late for my appointment the doctor comes out and says next which also was another customer that was told the same, but they told me that I could go I started telling the doctor my appointment is one hour late, which I also have a schedule of things to get done, he said you could have rescheduled it I said I tried they had me continue to wait, he the doctor started getting loud and rude infrastructure of all customer's which I then cussed him out, and walked out of the place, I wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last resort, the doctor is a total asshole! He shouldn't be in this field of work he should be bared from practicing here or any where. read more

The service has been declining. I have tried going in to the store just to get a copy of my prescription and they lock the doors well before closing and won't acknowledge someone at the door. They never answer their phone OR return messages either. At this point May as well go elsewhere. read more

New to the area, and I needed to find a new doctor in a hurry to get my eyes checked out and renew my contact lens Rx. The doctor here is great -- she is friendly, efficient and knows her stuff. The staff here, however, is an entirely different story. I don't expect anyone to roll out the red carpet for patients coming in for an exam, but I am a bit discouraged that the staff here seem to be annoyed when asking simple questions (like cost and availability) about contacts and frames, or can't seem to be bothered to help customers out without feeling like a burden while in the store or on the phone. I was so put off by the staff, that I ultimately decided to spend my money by ordering both my glasses and my contact lenses from other locations. Overall, I really like the doctor here and would certainly see her again if she were in another office/practice, but I won't go back to this location. The Columbus area has PLENTY of other doctors and offices to choose from. read more

The lack of professionalism at this optometrist is alarming. After waiting 30 minutes to be seen because the staff was arguing about how to claim my appointment to insurance, I chose to leave. I do not wish to financially support a business that operates in this manner and recommend that you do not either. read more

Seriously the "manager" there an absolute joke. My mom went in to pick up my glasses which were replacements because mine were broken into a million pieces by a psychiatric patient I had (I worked ems for reference) I physically had to sweep my frame and lens off the floor of my ambulance after this patient. I called and she first only ordered my frame when I said the whole pair so I had to wait another week or so so that they could be sent to the lab for lenses. My mom goes in the pick up my glasses because they are either closed on my day off or they close before I'm off work. She refuses to give my mother the glasses because she said according to their policy you have to turn the pair of glasses in. What glasses was I suppose to turn in the dust pan I swept up them up into and pour it in a ziplock bag. So after arguing for a while she says I just need a pair of glasses. My mom goes out to her car and breaks a pair of her cheap reading glasses so that I can get my glasses needless to say the "manager" was not happy about that and recanted and said we need the original glasses and my mom replied with that is not what she said. She said my mother threatened her and that we cussed her out because I said "what the fuck am I suppose to do without glasses." If I could give this place zero stars I would. The optometrist is amazing there don't know how in the world she deals with the office staff all day because they are HORRIBLE. Seriously spend your money elsewhere because clearly their warranty on your glasses means nothing. If I knew this was how it was I would've never purchased the warranty on my glasses. read more

I scheduled an appointment for my first pair of contacts. I specified this when I scheduled the appointment. I was not advised until I arrived for the appointment that I would have to back for a second appointment for contact training. Unfortunately I am college student without my own transportation and I schedule the appointment in between classes and sports. I picked the Grove City location because it is near my house not campus. If they would have specified I would need to come back for "training" I would have cancelled the appointment and went to another location. It turned out to be a huge waste of my time and a ride. read more

I'm giving this location a 2 star rating because the optometrist is amazing. I don't live in the area and I come 40 mins just for her. However her staff is very far from that. Every single time I make an appointment I'm always left with disappointment. I called 2 weeks ahead to come in on my ONLY DAY OFF. I get here on what I was told was my appointment. Even received a call confirming said time. 1:30 im there!....Just to be greeted by a grouchy front desk attendant" what's your name?" Uhhh hello to you to. Apparently there isn't any 1:30 pm appointments... if it's not the locations problem why use a POS scheduling company? I'm upset because she did not once offer to place me in at a later time or see what other dates I maybe be available. So upsetting to have wasted my day and planned around picking out some new frames. Customer service is key. This establishment lacks that. 2 thumbs down. If the doctor has a different location I'll follow but this grove city location . . . Needs help. read more

The optometrist is awesome 5 stars for her. Zero starts for the staff and overall experience. Staff was bickering amongst themselves, did not seem to know how to operate the software, ignored customers, just a very unprofessional experience. If this had occurred once I might accept they were having a bad day but this is my third recent visit and all experiences have had similar problems. As much as I like the optometrist this is will be my last visit to this location. read more

Wow! Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. I had new insurance, and the staff helped me find exactly what I wanted at a much lower cost than expected. When I took my daughter, we ran into a snag with insurance, but the staff helped me navigate that, and still got her into glasses and contacts without a huge price tag. read more

Not exactly happy with this place. I'm a contact wearer and can not get them to call me back when I have questions with my contacts. It happened last year with many phone calls with no returns, I thought maybe they were just having s rough moment. I only had to wait about 15 minutes and the staff was very attentive. They have a great selection of frames and they make good use of your time spent. In between the different examinations they help you select your frames and/ fit you for you contacts. The optometrist is very nice and thorough. Overall a very good experience in a good location. read more

Totally dissatisfied with my experience. I had a contact lenses exam (which if you do not know- has a much higher out of pocket then getting frames). I have had contacts for 20 years and this is the first time I have not received a set of contact lenses at time of visit. All other providers advised me of the price for what my insurance covered and this location offered double what the insurance would pay for and rep. was cold after I asked for amount of contacts that the insurance would pay for in full. I have insurance for a reason not to pay double what the insurance will pay for. It do not feel that they value repeat customers unless you pay WAY over what the insurance covers. They were extremely rude and not helpful. My husband went in order glasses put money down on them and they never called again. They didn't let us know when his glasses were in and after a month we called back they said they didn't have anything for him they only hold them and his money for 3 weeks. I asked the lady if she would send me his prescription she said yeah or you can come in. I said I would prefer you mail it to me. She never verified my address or anything just yeah yeah yeah me to get me off the phone. Worst customer service ever. Needless to say we will be going in getting his prescription and going elsewhere. What a waste of time!!!!!! read more
