I'm late leaving this review, but a few months after I went to Pearle Vision, I'm still super happy with my new glasses! I got both a standard pair and a pair of prescription sunglasses, and they've been amazing -- I tried the blue light filter for the first time at their recommendation, and it's been a lifesaver for my eyes working on a computer all day. The sunglasses have been amazing for the road. My only regret is that I got the sunglasses partially for my long drive into the desert on my upcoming move out of state, so I won't be able to come back . We were first time customers here and my husband, myself and daughter all scheduled exams on a Saturday. Yes, a saturday. Bring new to Irvine it was important to find an office close, weekend appointments and a place we could trust. We found all that here. Komal greeted us right away and had both of our insurance information squared away. We were brough back quickly and our exams were painless. Wow! Where do I start? Since first impression is everything, surely I'll begin with the warm, sincere greeting by Ms. Kumar as I walked into the door. With lots of questions regarding my insurance coverage I was in the nervous zone. In the past at other brand locations, I usually would be pushed aside for a bit until someone hand me a novel size questionnaire to be filled out before anyone would see me. Well..Not this time. Not even close! The wonderful lady that greeted me turns out to be the owner of the store, Komal G. Kumar! She was so humble, polite, and courteous. She asked for permission of her existing customer to excused herself momentarily from her just to greet me and let me know she will be with me in just a few mins. I certainly didn't get the usual nod which states "have a seat I'll be with you when I can" It was only a few mins before she came up and welcomed me to her store with a firm handshake and started our consultation into my many inquiries. Komal quickly pulled up my file and reviewed my vision benefits in detail and I was totally at ease. Her explanation was precise and to the point. She got me right in for a exam as I have a trip coming up and I like to show off some of my Dita frames gifted to me from my friend. Dr. Laura Lee Cloutier was professional and made me felt at ease even though my right eye have gotten a little worst from my exam two years ago. She answered all my questions and offered much advice to keep my eyes healthy. So back to my trip, I'm leaving this Saturday night and I had "3" pairs on order. So naturally I was worried that I may not get my glasses back in time for my show in Montreal. All Komal said was "we got this, don't you worry". I got the first pair today and the other two will be here tomorrow! That's the reason I felt I need to write this review to share my experience with all of you. With all the amazing services from Komal, Dr Cloutier, and the wonderful staff; never once did I felt I was being pressured or pushed to purchase an item and or an service. It was such an nice environment and Komal absolutely is on top of her customer service game. Great experience at Pearle Vision Irvine, and specifically with owner and manager Komal Kumar. From the outset she was attentive, helpful, friendly, and PATIENT (I tried on a lot of frames and took a while to decide on one haha). She was very informative in explaining all the lens options and what my vision insurance would cover. My Ray-Ban frames were ready for pickup less than a week from when I ordered. When I finally got a chance to pick them up, I got stuck in traffic and arrived 5 minutes after they closed. I had called ahead to let her know I may be late, and she very graciously stayed a little later to accommodate me. That is service above and beyond my expectations! Brought my family of 4 in for eye exams for the first time. I had lasik many years ago and my husband never needed glasses so it's been quite awhile since we had seen an eye doctor and first time for the kids (10 and 6). Appointments were easy to make and the office felt very clean and safe. They made sure to wipe everything down between customers and limited the number of people in the office. I've been to a few optometrist since I go back and forth between here and the bay but this office is beyond amazing. The staff goes out of their way to assist you and make sure you leave happy. Dr. Laura Lee is an absolute gem! She stops whatever she's doing to listen to any concerns you have then proceeds to do whatever she was doing. She's so sweet and considerate.
