Like most, I waited until the last day of the year (and last day to use my insurance to help pay for glasses). I had already had a prescription for glasses from my Optometrist, and my prescription did not change since last year. So, I loved my regular glassed, but really needed sunglasses, and mine had gotten pretty worn out. As soon as I walked in, everybody was friendly. I told the lady at the front what I was looking for, and she directed me to where on the wall to start looking. I tried on several pair, and narrowed down to a few. Then, I had a gentleman help me (sorry, I forgot his name! He is the only male in the store). He was great! He helped me decided which looked better on my face. He pulled up my insurance information, and broke down the cost for me, on what they would cover, and what I would need to cover. He was very nice and courteous! After he got all me information, and sized the glasses for my head, he told me they would call me in about two weeks. I got a call 1 week from ordering! I came back and they pulled them out for me, and adjusted the back of the ear to make sure it fit to my liking! Love my glasses, and love this staff! **Place is kind of hidden. I walked into Pearle Vision today hoping to get my glasses adjusted since the temples and nose pads were a little off. I had actually purchased my glasses from a different place but wasn't satisfied with the adjustments they made. As soon I stepped into Pearle Vision, Brian (store manager and licensed optician) offered to help me out. Within 10 seconds of looking at my glasses, he knew exactly what adjustments needed to be made and fixed my glasses PERFECTLY! I bought a pair of glasses with progressive lens and a pair of sunglasses at Pearle Vision. The selection of frame styles was quite broad. From the eye exam to the selection of frames and lens, and the final fitting of the frames, the entire staff were fantastic and friendly. Kudos especially to Nannette who helped me. Wow! Amazing experience at Pearle Vision Irvine. I went in without an appointment on a fairly busy day but Komal G. Kumar made sure I was helped out as soon as possible and help me set up an appointment for the next available appointment which was about an hour after I went in. While waiting for my appointment, Komal helped me pick out frames and she was very very patient, helpful and informative about each and every option. When it was finally my appointment time, I was greeted very warmly by Dr. Laura Lee. I felt so comfortable meeting with her because I could see she truly cared about helping me. When I finally picked out frames, Komal informed me it would take about 3 days to get my glasses, and exactly 3 days later, I got them! This is a fantastic place with a great staff and a wide selection of eyewear. The facility is gorgeous, and they have all of the cutting-edge equipment. However, Dr. Cloutier's bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. She's aggressive and was at times fairly rude, berating my wife for not wearing glasses (that she had come in to replace after our toddler broke them.)
