Friday was my first time at Pearle Vision, but it won't be my last. Walking in I was immediately greeted by Danny and the air conditioning. Danny is honestly so amazing, I loved him. He was so nice and so welcoming. Dr. Bonilla was super nice super knowledgeable and she really took her time with me. My left eye was giving a little bit of a problem when it comes to the prescription so she really made sure that we were able to find the right prescription strength. They were running a little behind because I guess they were having computer problems, but they were super apologetic about it and I did not mind waiting at all because I had nothing else on my schedule for the day. Danny even offered me water or Gatorade with ice, which I gladly accepted. Jesus was super nice and knowledgeable when helping me order my contacts and glasses make sure I was able to find the right deals and make sure that I use my insurance too. It's full of potential so I really appreciate him for doing that. The store itself is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The store is nice and clean and air-conditioned. Like I mentioned before the music they were playing was amazing like it took everything in me not to sing out loud to all of them the songs. Overall, if you're looking for a friendly place to get your eyes checked where they truly seem to care about their customers and treat everybody with respect and give you the time of day and not just rush you out of the door. Went in for an adjustment I brought some glasses in because the sides were short/curved and Danny helped me out beautifully and welcoming adjusted the sides to make em straight so they reach my ears and sit flushed and flat. and nose area he adjusted the nose pinch so it can sit better in my face to make it fit perfect all around ! I got my glasses here a couple years ago, Danny who helped me was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. A week ago, the same glasses was damaged accidentally as shown in the picture, I thought it would needs to go back to the factory, I stopped by Pearle Vision La Habra 30 min before they close, the lady who helped me took it to Danny, he fixed it by his magic hands just like that. I was in and out in five minutes, including 3 min I was in surprise on how he did it. To top it off ,It was complimentary. Adding on to my recent review: I was told by Danny that I would receive a $50 refund within 5-7 business days, but I still haven't received anything. That was on January 10th. I called the business three times today and got no response. I waited a month for glasses that turned out to be discontinued, you took my payment, and now I'm still waiting for my refund. I made a same day appointment at this place and decided to give it a try. I'd never been to a Pearle Vision before for glasses, my go to is target optical. Dr: I saw Dr. Bonilla and she was extremely nice and easy to talk to. She really took her time and I didn't feel rushed between having to go through the "one or two" process (my people with glasses know what I mean) The staff: very friendly and helpful overall. It was fairly empty inside when I went so I think I ended speaking with everyone while I was there. The office: very spacious and clean, and huge. Much bigger than I expected it to be. Large selection of brand name and none brand name frames. The reason why it's 4 outta 5: the prices. I did not walk away with a new pair of glasses because of this. My insurance only covers new frames every 2 years, however, I'm on my husbands plan as well, so I tried with his insurance instead (which they did accept) and my glasses would've been close to $500. I've never paid that much for glasses ever before. So I walked away with just my new prescription. Maybe I will try again once my 2 years are up with my own insurance to see how that pricing will go. I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for one pair of glasses when my prescription wasn't going to be significantly different. read more

You guys. I've been wearing glasses and contacts for 30+ years and I can say I've never found a doctor as caring and comforting as Dr Bonilla. I've looked. I've tried private practices and major chains. I can safely say they were all....doing their job. Which is not a bad thing at all, but once you've experienced a doctor who cares, it's like Now we have to talk about the staff. Shaira and Danny are basically the homies now. From DAY ONE they have both been extremely personable, kind, and extremely welcoming. Welcoming in that warm fuzzy, NOT trying to sell me shit, kind of way :) this review would be way too extensive if I listed EVERYTHING great about this place and everyone here.
