I was having the hardest time finding a salon that wouldn't overdo my brows, despite my being very clear in asking. It's taken me years to get any growth out of my right one specifically. I went 5 days before my wedding - plenty of time to let weirdness die down before the big day. Masks were required, they enforced social distancing & the technicians were cleaning & sanitizing at every step. Their customer service was very good and my brows turned out better than they've ever been. Plenty of hair still in place to help shape new growth, no redness and my makeup artist even said how nice & clean they were! Pictures came out great and I've found my new "home salon!" I was new to this threading and tinting process. I almost threw up in my mouth when she charged me $53 for threading and tinting!!!! I've since called four different places that thread and tint and not one has quoted me over $25. I even asked all them are sure? For both it's $23? Yes yes it is! I feel ripped off and cheated by two ladies I trusted and believed were offering a great service. I will never be back. I'm sure I can find a $25 salon that has nice people working there and not snake oil salesmen! So disappointed Removing all the stars I can. If you're not familiar with the process, it is a hair removal method popular in Asia which involves using a wound thread to remove a whole line of hair at once. It typically is less irritating (at least for me) than waxing. The salon itself is simply a storefront with a couple salon chairs. The prices are good ($6 for eyebrows) and the woman working there are professional, yet nice. One word of warning, though...when they tell you getting your lip threaded doesn't hurt, they're lying.
