Ok, so my extra high rating might reflect how grateful that this place was open late (may have been the only food place open in town) when I was craving ice cream for dessert. Despite the late hour the people were friendly and the service was fast. And of course the ice cream was tasty. Strangely I had not been here though I have hit most of the other ice cream shops in the area. I'll have to make the trip over the hill a little more often. read more

You MUST stop at Pearly's Dairy King for BBQ Thursday and a sweet treat! Their pulled pork parfait has tender pulled pork and creamy mac and cheese stacked up generously in a cup. They also serve the parfait with burnt ends. Get there early because they'll sell out! Pearly's also has a fantastic selection of decadent and creative sundaes. Loved the PDK! They serve Moomers brand, locally made ice cream. The Oreo cheesecake scoop was amazing, so good we came back again the next day. Ice Cream was awesome but how can it not be Tried one of the specialty mixes, came with Hot Honey on it. It was delicious! Haven't tried the food yet. Service was good, they're busy most times I go so I expect to be a bit slow. But I say good cause I placed an order and 2 of the 3 items were taken care of quickly by a single girl but the 3rd item was passed off to 3rd girl and I had to wait. About everything you would expect from an ice cream stand! Even though there were quite a few people the cashier was quick and convenient. We had our ice cream in a short amount of time for the amount of customers. I had a cherry pie flurry and my girlfriend had the blueberry cobbler flurry. Both were delicious! I got an oreo and peanut butter flurry. It was super good and had a lot of the mix ins. Way better than Dairy Queen! Definitely recommend!
