A very dog friendly place where the dogs run around unleashed. Both indoors and outdoors. So if you are scared of dogs, please stay away. But all the ones which I saw during my time there were well mannered and didnt bother other customers. We were two of us - i tried the Hefe and my friend had the cider but felt it was too sweet for him, even though he liked it, didnt go for a repeat. Went here for the first time yesterday. Our timing was probably a little off as it happened to be the day of the month that they hosted the monthly silent book reading club. Though it was eerily quiet, the host invited us to still have a beer which we did. He was very nice and we saw they had a very interesting collection of custom foods and merch. We came to the Brewmaster's Taproom on Saturday as a party of 2 at 5:00 on Saturday. It was lively but not too busy-we were able to find seating quickly. They do not serve food here, but I appreciate that they encourage you to bring your own. We saw a lot of people with pizza and to go boxes. The bartender was kind enough to let me try a few beers before I settled on my two. I loved their selection-they really had something on tap for every type of beer lover. Multiple IPAs, Pilsners, Stouts, Goses...etc. They sell some beers to go as well as some locally made goods. I would love to come back! read more

Wow, once again Yelp to the rescue! I was in Bellevue and had a couple of hours to kill before picking up a friend at Seatac. Seemed like the perfect opportunity to find a new brewery or beer spot. So I searched in Renton and up popped The Brewmaster's Taproom. Located in a semi out-of-the-way strip mall off of 405 I can easily say I would never have known it was there if not for Yelp! I arrived about 5pm on a Friday - always a dangerous traffic time to be heading south through the S-curves, but it wasn't too bad and soon I was in a socially distant line to order my beer. The selection was great - especially if you're an IPA lover, as there were several beers in that category. Being more of a malty fan, the selections were fewer but still good. I settled on a Pelican Cream Ale and went to sit outside on their cozy, covered, warm outdoor patio. Everyone sat far apart at their own socially distant tables, and masks were required when not at your table. It felt very safe (and the heater right next to my table made it one of the better outdoor beer experiences I've had lately). Inside, in addition to the bar where you order your favorite pint, they also have cans/bottles to go, and a great selection of handmade masks and other crafts if you want to do a little shopping. I really loved this place and can't wait to go back when I have more time to enjoy some of their other beer selections! read more

Behold, my juice box (Tieton mixed-berry cider) and confetti explosion of a rice krispy treat (laced with fruity pebbles). Some weeknights are trivia. Some Saturdays are storytime (for actual kids, but they don't discriminate) followed by free-play bingo, both led by the drag queen hostess with the mostest, Sylvia O'Stayformore. But all the other times, it's a gathering spot for beer lovers, tended by people who know their stuff, with coolers full of short-run brews you've never imagined. And the centerpiece, a lineup of 25 taps, of which 1 will be root beer, 3 or 4 will be ciders and sometimes a sour, and the rest will be a whole gamut of beer. Located in a strip mall, I blew right past it before I finally found it. It was pretty quiet when we got there. A quick trip up to the counter to see what was on tap. While in mid scan, somebody starts licking my hand. Did I mention it's very dog friendly? I grabbed my brew and found a table. I should have gone outside and sat in the sun but hung out inside. So, decent beer, ultra friendly folks, and you can order (meh) pizza from next door to bring in. And, a manager/owner who actually reads these and then kindly posts in response to your Yelp review (extra star earned for that, Marley). Plus, they had an event the night we went, which added to the ambiance -- but also the length of the line to get your drinks, which funnily enough was a single file line rather than the bombard-the-bar scenario. So, we waited in line, then got a few beer flights -- 5 beers for a reasonable price, which turned into 4 beers plus raffle tickets for the event (so if that bothers you, you might want to avoid events). I'll admit the seats are weird (they are attached to the table and swing out, which means you can't cuddle up with anyone for a closer conversation). The Brewmaster's Taproom is a great Beer Bar located in Renton. This taproom is one of the few locations in the area that carry Manfish Brewing's beer. Manfish doesn't have their own tasting room but by checking out the brewery's website I learned that they distribute their beer to several locations in the Seattle, Renton and Kent areas. The Manfish Beer I got was Pudge The Curmudeon which was an IPA style beer. I also got a beer by Modern Times Brewing and really enjoyed that beer as well. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely like making a trip back to get the Manfish beer again for starters. read more

When I first got here, I walked up to the bar to order but there was no one available. I stood for a few minutes and then finally someone came from the back room and took my order. I was a little confused why there would only be one person working the bar (or not, as it were) considering the amount of customers there were, but maybe they were having a staffing issue. There's a good selection of beers available here that are really reasonably priced, but I couldn't stand the table set up. Each table has a seat that swivels out, which can make it hard for conversation. Also the tables are really wide, so if you have a group of more than two, it can feel kind of awkward. One thing that this place has going for it is that it was a very inclusive space. Babies and dogs both were present in the time I was there and if memory serves correctly, the bathroom door is labeled "whatever". I really wanted to like this place and it seemed to have a good vibe, but until the table and chair situation has changed, I probably won't be returning. read more

This is a unique, funky little place! Initially, some friends and I were looking for some post-hike beer and food. Plus, my coworker said, "I've driven past this place lots of times and NEVER stopped!" Pulling into the parking lot of the strip mall, we were greeted by a small, white, fuzzy pup named Milo. He had come from a cute little outdoor patio around the side of the tap room. This place was pup friendly! To our dismay, there was no food menu, but they did offer a bowl of chili. It was surprisingly good! They have an ample seating, and the decor has a very clean, industrial look. Plus they have about 20 different beers on tap. And you guys! They're listed on TVs with LITTLE KEG LOGOS to let you know how much is left in it! They also have a TV room with a couch, that looks similar to a room you would have in your house rather than a bar. I tell ya what. This place is exactly as advertised. It is a taproom and only that. I went in for the first time expecting perhaps they'd have liquor. Perhaps they'd have food. Well they don't. They just have beer. But when I thought about it why would I expect they'd have all that other stuff if it's not advertised? So I enjoyed 2 or 3 of their awesome beers, all of which I believe are local, and enjoyed the company of their dog who goes around and visits patrons. Located in a small strip mall in Renton/Benson Hill. We were surprised with that initially but this place had a great beer selection, especially if you like IPAs. More than half of the selection were IPAs. There were also quite a few beers that were available to purchase for take away. Easy to keep social distance as there are options to sit inside and outside. The outside is very dog friendly with a small grassy area, poop bags availability. As a cider lover, this place is a blessing. I really love the cider selections here, I don't find most of it in stores and otherwise won't be able to try if it weren't for this place. What's more important about the beloved ciders is what this establishment stands for; inclusivity and acceptance in the face of severe intolerance and backlash, the lovely owner and staff stands behind that statement completely and that's something I truly value about this establishment especially in this trying times. We saw two other groups walk to the front door and have to turn around and leave in the short time we were there. I feel like I practically live here. The owners are the absolute best and do whatever is in their power to make every experience a wonderful time. I feel like this place has also added to the community. I've been able to meet neighbors and make wonderful connections. When it comes to the beer side of things, this is a taproom and not a brewery. It features craft beer from all around the Pacific Northwest. If you're lucky, they'll even put on special beers for your birthday. Twenty taps feature everything from nonalcoholic root beer to pilsners, porters, goses, and ipas. There are also refrigerated cases containing bottles and cans you can take with you or drink at the bar. Ciders and sours are also available for those that don't often drink other styles along with red, white, and sparkling wine. I greatly enjoy the fact that they don't serve a full menu like restaurants and bars. Sara makes the best chili and changes the recipe seasonally. They've also recently introduced sandwiches! Also delicious. I should t forget the delicious soft pretzels. All made by hand. The Taproom also features select goods from the Brewmaster's Bakery. The chocolate chip scones and jalapeño cheddar sourdough bread are my favorite but, they also have delicious granolas, "drunk nuts," beer jelly, caramels, cookies and more. All bakery items are made with love, by hand, with fresh ingredients, and spent grain from local breweries. To make things even better, Marley (owner and baker) even makes dog treats! They do have many menus for places in the area that do carry out or delivery if you're in the mood for something of that sort. It's a great place to bring your kids. There are many board games and the atmosphere stays fairly family friendly. Dogs are also accepted with the random sighting of Poopus the famous cat. To stop my novel. I love this place.
