To top it off he took a piece off of the freezer leaving the door to not quite close completely. When I called him he said he didn't take out a part and if he did it wouldn't effect the door!?!? My dryer was making horrible loud squeaking noises every time I used it. Good thing it wasn't a toaster that required repair, I could buy several toasters for that price. Questioning the repair warranty at the completion of the repair, he said there was none. I would suggest an estimate over the phone, or at least some form of a rate schedule to prevent sticker shock. Seriously. Diagnosis, too old and expensive to repair, too far gone. Diagnosed without touching washer or removing back. $80. When she dismantling for transporting to dump, found the belt had slipped. This gentleman is my neighbor and I always see his work truck outside his house with his contact info. Over a year ago i recommended him to a friend who was having issues w her fridge. She was very happy with his work! When the time came to rescue my sister from a flooded garage due to her washer, he was there! Same day service on such short notice! He showed her what the problem was and only charged her for the trip since no parts were needed. I told my sister that if she was happy with his work then to send him on over to my mothers house to fix her leaking refrigerator. He came over, took the freezer apart. Showed us that there was a plugged drain and fixed it! I love how he explains everything that is wrong and what he is doing to fix it! My ice maker had broken parts, I called Sebastian and he said it would cost me $95 for him to diagnose. I sent him a picture of the broken pieces and he came a few days later with a whole replacement ice maker for which he charged me almost $250. I saw it on GE website for $150. He didn't leave me an invoice nor did he leave me a copy of the receipt for the item purchased. I had to practically beg for the paperwork. I feel I was way overcharged for his labor as well. Finally, on the invoice he didn't break down the labor costs either to include or not include the diagnostic price. I also was not given an estimate beforehand which he could have done since he didn't have to diagnose. With the estimate I could have decided whether to use him or not. I should have done my research and asked more questions beforehand. read more

Oh boy, what an experience. If I could select a negative 5 I would. I've been in the service industry for nearly 40 years and I have employed over 50 service personel. If any one of my workers acted like this person, I would have fired them and reimbursed the customer. This person was not only rude and agressive, he was as unprofessional as you could possibly be. Not only did he do next to nothing for his fee, he tried to charge us for extra "labor" after I specifically said we will not accept an extra charge without discussing any labor or parts that may or may not be needed for the repairs. We had 2 possible repairs needed. Neither of which was any actual hands on repair until we insisted the part be taken off and cleaned. That was after his repair included his comment of what we could do to clean the potential parts in question. I could go on . . . Big Rip Off for a dishwasher and wash machine repair I'd go buy new before I'd let this Rude Rip Off ever get within 100 feet of my yard. read more

Sebastian is friendly and arrived early. Our refrigerator had been leaking around the water dispenser. It turned out to be just some "crud" that had built up around the nozzle. It took all of 30 seconds for Sebastian to clean it out and it worked fine. The cost was $125, which I think is exorbitant. I expect to pay a service call but I was never informed what that cost was. Certainly he should charge for some time and travel but IMO $125 is too much. I'll use someone else next time. read more

That was easy. Used Yelp late last night to send requests for service for a GE oven that would not heat up. By early this morning I already had a response from several repair businesses. Sebastian called me at 7:30. Provided me a reasonable quote to take a look and we made an appointment for mid-afternoon. Just over an hour later Sebastian called and let me know he could be at my address about 9 as he had a cancellation. Within 15 minutes of arriving he provided a diagnosis and had the part necessary to complete the repair. Watch out for this guy. He comes across as a nice guy but he's a rip off. My mother's dryer went out. He showed up within a couple hours. He never gave her any kind of work order. It turned out it just a simple fix that only took about a half hour, he had the part with him so it was simple. He charged her $250 which i thought was about $100 too much. She probably should have just bought a new one for the amount he charged. The dryers 20 years old. His english isn't very good either so he's hard to understand. All i could think of is my poor mom who's 81 years old living only on a 1100 dollar a month social security check. Run from this guy, total ripoff. read more
