Trusted Appliance is the ONLY repair company that I trust and will use. They came out today because my refrigerator quit working. After looking at it the technician informed me that the compressor was bad so it was time to buy a new refrigerator. It's rare but very much appreciated for someone to be up front and honest vs trying to sell unnecessary and existing dive repairs. The technician let me know that due to its age my refrigerator has went past its life expectancy and that it's not worth spending over $1,000 for a repair on such an old refrigerator. He even told me when I go looking for a new refrigerator what brands to stay away from as he has seen many of those brands require constant repairs. This is a belated review for Trust Appliance. My front load LG washer stopped draining during a wash cycle which if it's ever happened to you is both messy and a pain to deal with. I was happy to find this repair service through YELP so wanted to make sure it is reviewed well. I contacted Joe and he got back to me quickly to discuss the problem with the washer. He advised re: his schedule to come out to my area, the timing and expected pricing. It was all fair and reasonable. When I had a timing conflict on the repair date, he was able to tighten up the appointment window to accommodate which I really appreciated. And called to let me know when he was arriving. Communication and transparency in pricing were terrific throughout the pre- and home visits. Sadly, my washer required the more expensive of the repair options, but Joe got it done as quickly as possible and I made my next meeting. And it was way cheaper than buying a new washer. I called Trust Appliance Repair because I had a GE dishwasher that wasn't working. I'd already done basic diagnostics and even bought a new control board that didn't fixed the problem. When I talked to Joe he immediately knew what I was talking about and informed me that GE dishwashers have a common issue causing the failure of electronics components. He also informed me that fixing it was a dead end and that buying an Electrolux or Frigidaire was my best option. Giving honest advice even when it may mean a loss of a service call is a good sign. Amazing Service! Friday afternoon my dryer went out. I called Trust and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday morning. I was advised that if there was any chance someone could make it out on Friday they would. I was not expecting a call back because it was the end of the day. My 8.25 year old Whirlpool front loading washer broke the day before Thanksgiving in 2020. Unfortunately, the washer was in mid cycle and the door wouldn't open. It also had water in it. The question I had was: Should we just buy a new one or fix this one. This was a matched set of a red dryer and a red washer on pedestals. My wife loves them. I called Trust Appliance to inquire about a service repair for our GE refrigerator yesterday 5/15 at approximately 2pm and like their Yelp add says "Replies in about 20 minutes" and low and behold within 20 minutes I received a call back from Joe. Joe and I spoke and the earliest they could come out was Friday but tentatively he said possibly tomorrow (5/16) btwn 10am-1pm. He penciled me in for both days and we went from there. Joe called me today (5/16) at 12:20pm and said he's on his way with an ETA of 15 minutes. And as stated Joe arrived with 15 minutes. Joe went right to the kitchen and started diagnosing the problem and within 10-15 minutes he found a defective Start Kit which has 3 parts according to Joe's description of the OEM kit. Joe called his office to inquire about some OEM parts and said it could take a couple days for 2 of the 3 OEM parts and the 3rd part could take a week up to weeks to receive it from GE. Joe had aftermarket parts on hand and could replace it and it would be about $100 cheaper than the OEM and we would have our refrigerator up and running within minutes upon replacing the defective ones. We chose to purchase the aftermarket part. After Joe installed it our fridge started back up and he cleaned parts of the fridge that needed cleaning. I TOTALLY recommend Trust Appliance Repair!!
