My hands shake, when it gets colder, it shakes worse. I used to wear cut off gloves to this game because they kept my hands warm and decreased my shaking and a dealer said he wanted to give me a cup of soup , implying that I guess I look like a homeless person, which is probably true. I wasn't insulted by the comment. It was just insensitive, and I knew he meant no harm by it it. When possible, I sit in the 1 or the 9 seat which is closest to the dealer. I sat in the ninth seat most recently, and I would say fold instead of pushing my cards and the cards are literally next to the dealer and I guess she didn't like that too much because she said something smart about it along the lines of " I guess I'll fold your hand for you. "I said I have a condition that makes my hand shake. It's easier if I just say fold To which she replied, you're not getting any sympathy from me. Nobody wants sympathy. A little empathy would be considerate. It sucks having a disability. It sucks even more that you have to explain yourself. Some of the staff can use some disability sensitivity training. On a good note, All the managers here are really cool and professional. When I asked to exchange my chips to lessen my stack, they help me put it together and of course I always tip. I know my condition can sometimes slow the game down so I tip generously and I am considerate at making fast decisions.

They recently remodeled and moved tables around. I went to where my new table assignment used to be to learn it was now in another room. I cut through the bathroom instead of walking through the entire establishment as you are supposed to go directly to your next table. I was informed shortly after that going through the bathroom with tournament chips was not allowed due to camera issues. They pulled my chips and disq me from the tournament. This rule is not posted in any rules, on any forms, nor is there ANY signage stating no tournament chips beyond this point (bathroom). I was also informed I was not the first player they did this to. if this is such a major issue, WHY NO SIGNS???? I won't return for a while. There are other clubs that others are moving to as well that has their acts together.

The Sangeet was held on Saturday in the ballroom on the second floor of the Omni. The party was so much fun and the staff at the Omni really made the party run smoothly, by keeping the plates full and drinks refilled! Stayed in a standard room on the 8th floor. The room was nice and the linens were really soft. Love the robe (considering purchasing one), and the bathroom was clean with an oversized shower. We didn't opt for daily cleaning service because: #1 we were there only two nights and #2 if you choose to opt out of daily housekeeping, you participate in Omni's "Say Goodnight to Hunger" program (they donate a meal to a local food bank). We requested extra towels and coffee and they quickly delivered to our room. I like the texting system with Omni and look forward to visiting more locations to earn more rewards!
