This was our first non-coastal camping trip. We stayed here so we could both bring our dog and also to attend the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival. This RV resort is super easy to access from the freeway and well laid out within the Pechanga resort. The spaces provide adequate space and privacy while still maintaining a sense of community. We chose a premium location near the dog park for convenience and our site came with a picnic table. There are only a few larger sites, with a covered picnic space available. The resort provides a shuttle to and from the Pechange Resort and Casino. We did not use this service as it was walkable. Also, there is a gas station with propane station right next door. Basically, all the conveniences you need are within an easy reach. Other amenities include a pool, two spas, a clubhouse, barbecue areas, and a horseshoe pit. On pets, I have never seen more dogs than at this resort, making it super woof friendly (see my Woof Friendly list for more places to take your dog) for you animal lovers. read more

This place is a fantastic place to stay. The facilities and park are clean and the people are friendly the only con is the dog park is closed for service and if you're on H street it's very hard to sleep at night. The bathrooms are clean and heated and there's plenty of stuff to do as well as 24/7 shuttle transportation to and from the casino and is very family friendly I highly recommend staying here just avoid H street as a spot unless you like 24/7 traffic. read more

This was our second time staying here might be our last. The area is beautiful and the proximity to old town is close but the staff and policies are no longer tolerable. This last trip we stopped on the last leg of a 12 day vacation. My wife went to check us in and they asked her what spot we were in. Ummm excuse me, but shouldn't they know that. They said something about due to privacy issues, they cant put the last name on the envelope. I understand that, but at least they should know our spot. We had to come back on the RV and look through all of our paperwork to find our spot number. The other issue that we had was the spot that we were assigned to. It was so sloped that we had problems getting somewhat close to level and as others have mentioned, for 85 dollars you think we would have had a table! The place was also dirty, We saw plastic bags and other garbage around our site and other common areas, but yet when I was sitting out there I noticed staff just driving by and not picking up. I started to pick up things, but then got frustrated that it was overlooked by staff and just left it. Too bad because this could be a great park. read more

The hubby and I came for a two night stay to meet up with some friends. I really like this park! The spots are nice and wide and there's a big grass patch between each RV. I really like the spots that have a fenced in yard next to it with a pergola and barbecue. I'd love to stay in one of those next time! The pool is still closed but I did see the shuttle running. Although, technically you can walk to the casino since it's not far. Everyone there seemed respectful of each other and abided by the quiet hours. They have a local RAT problem and don't warn customers. We stayed at the RV resort for a month. At the end of our stay our brand new Jeep Cherokee sustained $1000 worth of rodent damage and despite three in person requests at the office and one telephone message left to speak to someone about the rats/damage we received NO RESPONSE from park management. Had a blast this weekend. Our spot backed up to our friends spot. The bushes had a little opening in it so we could walk to them. Only one pool tho. It did get kinda crowded on Saturday afternoon. This could possibly be our last visit here! So disappointing to say the least! BUYER BEWARE! If you like to enjoy out door space during your time away with your rv/travel trailer, I would check with the office if your site is clean,(no trash or bottle caps) and green grass. If you like cans, bottle caps, DEAD grass and stickers at your expensive site(100.00+ a nite) then this is the place for you! I went to the office with my concerns and they could care less. I understand their end, clock in, clock out, go home. I asked for a different site, we had a Presidential site, was directed to the only site left, and it wasn't any better. Dead grass there too. POOR mgmt. to say the least. The girl behind the desk said I could fill out the complaint card in my packet and she would send someone over to our site to clean up. Never found the card in our packet and no one ever showed up to remove the trash. During construction of the new section of this park, we were advice of noise, work etc. during the stay. Great! We had the opportunity to make that decision and knew what to expect before we paid, planned, packed, and drove to Pechanga RV... Sure would of appreciated a heads up when we made this current reservation that the site we chose looked horrific! I would have never booked it! I have an idea!!! Plant some sod and water. We just checked in today Friday, and will stay for 3 nights. #1 no map to the site, #2 the envelope is written with a 0 in the front of the number, but at the site? No 0. ?! #3 my husband went to the front to ask for more information and they know nothing, then he ask for a map, she said I will bring to your site, she arrived RUDE AF. Telling us there is no map, we said we have these key cards what are they for? She respond: well! You do have the key cards. Anyways as she walks away to a golf car with someone driving her, she was shaking her head as if we are STUPID ones. LOOK it's our FIRST time here. Print the INTRODUCTION form for all you guests!!! I love camping and are members a of a that go to different resorts and parks every month and never have we been treated like the, our group was nickeled and dine for silly things like arriving 10 minutes early, really!! And double charges on spots. Needless to say we won't be going here again, normally our business appreciated and we're not a route bunch, it's a older group, our average members are 60+, and my opinion is they're why over priced for their accommodations. read more

This is the best place around! My husband and I stayed in the most expensive site, The Chairman (site H2). Although it was the most expensive, it was still cheaper than staying in the hotel on a Monday and Tuesday. It comes with a spacious grass area, a pergola, two concrete pads, a picnic table, a gas grill and a gas fire pit with seating. In addition to your full hook ups there is great wifi and an additional code to type into your smart tv for streaming. Before you get there you can check in from your phone so when you drive up you can go directly to your site. The driving directions on your phone tell you to turn in where the Pechanga casino is. You actually need to go to the next turn in (after their gas station). If you turn in where the casino is, just drive to the back and go in through the RV Resort exit (that's what we did and it was fine). We walked over to the front office and our welcome envelope was in a file box in front of the office. The neighbors were friendly and respectful. The bathrooms were like casino bathrooms. There is a pool and a dog park. We paid $22 each to get day use of the hotel pool which was beautiful and relaxing. I definitely recommend Pechanga RV Resort. read more

This was only the 4th RV Park we ever stayed in since we are new to rving. Like any other park we've stayed at, there are pros and cons. Pros: GREAT dog park! Clean facilities Location to casino and free shuttle Close to convenience store and fast food places Office staff are friendly Shade trees and grassy areas Cons: People don't pick up poop in dog park Awful WiFi and cell. Usually our Verizon works everywhere but for some reason not here They don't provide picnic table ( it costs more) Showers are on timers so constantly have to push on and only 1 hook for your stuff Smallish pool area considering size of the park The grill area by pool didn't have any outdoor tables Cards to get into facilities..we just prefer codes as we tend to lose cards and they cost $10 to replace read more

Very nice, clean RV resort. We stayed here after a night of wine tasting in Temecula, so much easier than driving all the way back to San Diego after wine tasting. Nice swimming pool, free shuttles to the casino although it's certainly close enough to walk to. Very conveniently located. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night, and during the weekend there were a lot of groups with large families and kids, many of them riding through the park on bikes. On the weekend the pool was pretty crowded, but not so crowded that you couldn't find a spot for yourself. We stayed in spot D30 and wi-fi worked fine for us. We had no problems with the hookups, or with anything really. The enclosed dog park was a plus for us, as were the trees that are in each site - they provided some climbing relief and fun for our cat after being cooped up in the RV all day! read more

We just returned from our stay at the Pechanga RV Resort in Temecula. The park is easy to find and the signage is excellent for easy access. The check in was quick, however we were taken aback by the $10 "exact cash only" key deposit. Everyone in the office (guests) were scrambling for exact change. We stayed in space A02, and it was a great space, with lots of shade, good proximity to the pool (but not showers, which was a bit strange) and clubhouse. The pool area is small, but very nice, with BBQ's and shade. And now this... Ahead of our trip, we received multiple emails that they were expanding the park and to expect construction. What we were not told, was that the old clubhouse directly across the street from our space, was going to be demolished during our stay. When we asked to move, we were offered the over flow area, with no shade. That was unfortunate and we decided to stay in our spot. High points: -Beautiful site and most established sites are roomy and nice (tip - request older sites) -Free site to casino shuttle -Old Town Temecula is great -Pretty park Low points: -WIFI very weak to none -Dog park in desperate need of cleaning -Pool key deposit being "cash only" -One shower room for the entire park All in all, we met some good people here and we had a nice time. Warning to all.. LOUD construction 7am EVERY day except Sunday. Stay as close to the golf course as possible to have any peace. Avoid camping near dog park. Every small dog goes there to bark while the owners just watch. Love the park, clean and nice customer service, but you might stay elsewhere until ALL the construction is complete. Oh, they randomly shut off the water with NO notice. After several complaints, somebody came around to let us know we have 1 hour to fill our tanks since water will be off randomly rest of the week. Praying the new extension will be nice and peaceful. Notice to barking dog owners: Be respectful to your camping neighbors and shut your dog up. It is NOT cute or enjoyable to listen to a barking dog. Have some consideration. read more

First timer! Well maintained. Friendly staff at the Front desk. Easy hook up for water and sewage system. This is our very first time to use our travel Trailer since we bought it. A good rv park to start off. Easy access to the casino. We will definitely come back. What a nice clean RV park! The spots are very spacious so you're not on top of your neighbor, unless that's your mutual agreement, wink wink! The grass spots are maintained next to your camper, watering at night. They have wifi and cable tv. There is also a nice pool and Jacuzzi area, outdoor barbeque area with benches, showers, bathrooms, and a horse shoe game area. Good for a chill lazy weekend or hit the casino for a night of fun and losing your money! Oh did I say that? I mean to "win" some money, yea that's it! They have a 24 hour courtesy shuttle that picks up and drops you off right in front of your RV! How's that for service! I definitely wouldn't hesitate to come back here! This place cost a small fortune. We will be there for 4 nights. We full time. So I called and asked for an address where I can send some Amazon packages to the RV office. Nope, they don't allow that. This campground is family friendly--including fur babies. Although they are not as big as some, the sites are well-maintained. Pricing is comparable to nearby RV resorts. As far as employees are concerned, Dawn is very helpful and the reason behind my five-star review. Our reservation was never confirmed --"somehow", but Dawn was able to get us into a site for the time we required. I wasn't expecting a call back and was starting to scramble. She was very accommodating, followed-up, and delivered a better site then we had previously scheduled. read more

Well this RV park was very disappointing and Unnerving We were invited by a local RV Club and were looking forward to this trip. We were in space L1 My friend asked me to help him cook since there were 23 coaches in this group and i agreed and set up my large charcoal grill to cook. we also asked the the park staff to refill the LP tanks in the site grills. when they arrived she informed me that charcoal was not allowed to be used. i explained to her that i had read the rules provided and there was nothing in them that prohibited charcoal. She restated that this was the rule. I told her that i was disappointed but OK i agreed not to use charcoal and began to disassemble my grill and put it away. about 10 mins later three security vehicles rolled up to my site and informed me with attitude that i was not allowed to use charcoal, i explained to the officer that i already agreed not to use it to the staff person and i then asked why it took three security vehicles to approach me and tell me something that i had already agreed not to do. This was very stressful for me. I'm sure that the $288.00 I spent for this site for three nights will not break Pechanga RV Park , however I was made to feel like a criminal and will never return to this park again. I am a recently retired civil servant and this is not the way you should treat people. read more

We have stayed at this rv Resort many times with never a problem with early check in. Today we arrived 45 minutes before check in time at 2:00. She said our site was ready but it would be a $10 early check in fee. This is crazy.! We have never had this experience and we have been to 40 states. She said you could take the shuttle and go to the casino and have lunch, then come back. Really? Our option is to eat a lousy buffet? When you are retired you are on a fixed income and that $10 could go to a decent meal. She blamed it on new management. read more

This was my first time going RV camping. I went Pechanga RV Resort with family and friends. There was a slight challenge getting in due to the construction going on here, but we spotted a ranger who pointed us in the right direction. After we got on the right track out check in was a breeze, the staff was really friendly, super helpful. The grounds are very nice, spaces and streets are really wide with a lot of green grass, there also is a lot of grass bushes around the RV Resort and the campers space for privacy. This place is so clean, quiet & safe. They provide 24/7 visible Security patrol and the Rangers patrol as well. A shuttle runs also 24/7 with pick ups from & drop offs to & from your space. Here is a list of the amenities that the resort offer; 168 site spaces, 20-30-50 amp power, 5 luxury spaces that is fenced in with gazebo and picnic tables, water/ sewer hook ups, clean restrooms with showers, heated pool w/ 2 spas, fenced dog park, pool house w/ a full kitchen, free WiFi, laundry facilities on property open 24/7, and 3 pets per RV 5.00 per pets. As you can see from my previous reviews, I absolutely love this place. My wife and I have been coming to the RV Resort for many years and have never had any issues. Until this pass weekend. We arrived an hour early for the 4th of July weekend. Ashley, (the reception employee clerk) was rude and snotty because I had arrived early. I left the office angry and disappointed with how I was mistreated. What upset me even more, when I spoke to the manager, she seem unconcerned. I felt brushed off and was angry the whole weekend. Will I return? of course I will. Like I said, I Love this resort. Everyone else was friendly. From the shuttle service to the café. Pechanga is an awesome place. read more

This resort is a hidden gem! We only stayed for one night because we were meeting up with some friends, but we will definitely be back! The grounds are nice and clean and the staff make you feel like you're staying at a 5-star resort. There is a 24-hour shuttle that you can call to come pick you up right at your spot and take you to the casino which is so awesome. The only down-side is that the pool is very small, and if you want to take a dip in the hotel pool, it will cost you $20. read more

Since getting my little travel trailer back in May 2012, I have been all over the place. At the time that I "camped" (if you can call it that) here, I did so due to the Annual Craft Beerfest that Pechanga puts on. I am not a fan (and don't) of drinking and driving, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to try it out. First, the sites are of a typical park like setting. The good news is the pads actually have grass surrounding them, so you don't feel like you are in a complete concrete jungle. The spaces themselves are of average size and space between the next site. The facility has a pool and small reception type area. Each site also has there own dump (pretty obvious), cable TV 30 and 50 amp service. I found it very easy to move around the park with the trailer in two. The best part is they offer a FREE shuttle that can pick you up at your site or at the front desk and takes you straight to the casino. Once I was ready to head back from the casino I was determined that it was going to be a real pain; it wasn't. I waited all of maybe 5 minutes for the next shuttle to come. The park is quiet and the staff friendly as well as off of the beaten path. The facility is away from any residential area so it is really just the Pechanga environment, which means it is close to the golf course as well. So far, this is one of the better parks I have stayed at. read more

We love this RV Resort. We live 40 minutes away so it makes for nice, little weekend get aways. The resort is very clean & staff is friendly. Space A17 has alway been our favorite, it's one of their luxury spot so it cost a little more, but worth it for the extra yard space, gazebo & cute white picket fence. They've added a few more luxury sites we've yet to book, but will soon! Spots G2-22 (even numbers) are my least favorite as a road is behind them. We take Uber to Old Town Temecula for drinks & great restaurants. read more
