This place sucks! I don't know what's worse the park or the staff. It is crawling with drug addicts. They are overcharging for electric. Please tell me how a 30ft trailer uses $400 a month in electric. They are ripping off these seniors that are on fixed incomes. They get people in by saying their rent is $680, but they raise the rent every year and they charge an arm and a leg for electricity. They don't refund your $500 deposit unless you supply them with a receipt. The receipt that they have in your file. What a joke! People are getting assaulted in this park and the managers don't do anything about it. Your best bet is go down to Golden village, save yourself a nightmare. read more

So if you want to be threatened to be evicted without a word of warning by people that have no business in a job that has anything to do with customer relations go ahead. My family and I have visited this park numerous times over the last 10 years, we had our fifth wheel stored here. It has gotten so much worse. The turn over rate in the office is mind boggling and the attitude of the staff is horrendous! Especially the one they call Nichole. They get someone new and within weeks to mere months they are gone. They keep raising their fees, but don't correct the problems within the park. You will hear gun shots at night in the park, and in the alley behind the park. The massive homeless problem in Hemet spills over into this park. They come in and steal your laundry amongst other things. They DO NOT have lighting so it's very dark at night! Walk your dogs before it gets dark. Don't leave the gates after dark it's not safe! The residents are friendly and offer more security than the office. It's sad what this place has become. We used to look forward to our visits. We now frequent Golden Village it is right across the street from Target. Gated with security, every spot has a light! The office staff is professional and courteous they have events on the weekends it's truly a resort and a vacation. Casa del sol should be ashamed of themselves! Letting this park fall by the wayside and raising rates is the last thing they should concern themselves with. It's not worth the money. The showers and amenities are frequently not accessible, they claim they can't be due to the homeless problem. The gunshots are terrifying, they told us we couldn't have certain things outside which made no sense as we were camping. Save yourself some sleepless nights and a ruined vacation and spend the extra money at Golden Village you won't regret it. read more

So happy we were forced to move. I moved here with my daughter and granddaughter after rent at Golden Village Palms was raised to $1000.00 a mo. Regardless of rate, we were also booted because they changed to rules and went to 55+ age restrictions and the people there were unfriendly. At first glance the signage is kind of dark and dated and it make you wonder if the park is the same, but once inside it is very nice. Leslie and Lucy and all of the staff are friendly, inviting and very busy keeping the park clean and nice for everyone. There are enough rules and guidelines to keep the park safe and nice while still allowing each tenant room for personal touches on their space. We have been extremely happy here and so have the more than a dozen Golden Village Palms "refugees" that have also moved here. You really get a sense of community. Don't look at the old posts regarding this park. I am told there has been new ownership and management recently and it is obvious. I would recommend this park for long or short-term stay, but definitely a nice place to put down some roots. read more

Have been coming twice a year for six years (May and November). We dance with the Romney Stars square dance club. The new management, over the past couple of years have invested a lot for improvements to the park infrastructure. Very nice pool area with a over large, covered spa. Did I say covered and large! The park entrance has been redone to enhance the security inside the park. Pickle Ball courts have been added. We very much enjoy our dancing vacations at Casa Del Sol. In November we spend a week here and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the park. The resort is across the street from a Regal Cinema and is close to several restaurants and the Hemet Mall. read more

I came to this park as an evacuee from the Fairview fire here in Hemet. The facilities here showers, bathrooms are locked up! When we checked in, 3 women in the office and no one gave us the bathroom and shower codes. There is a phone number to call after hours for emergencies and for Camp host. However, after several attempts we realized no body was going to answer the phone numbers they have posted! I mean come on haven't we been through enough? I may be loosing my home and all items and thought I might be able to get a nice shower and possibly use the bathroom, but i guess i was wrong!!! We have since left! I do not recommend this park as they are not customer accommodating in the least! read more

Can I give it a negative 5. We have stayed at this park for about 7 years, never again. It use to be funky and nice. Since new ownership about 4 years ago it has gotten so bad. Bathrooms dead bolted shut when we arrived Monday, a holiday, no after hours staff, a resident had to let us in. New managers seem to care less if RV guests are able to get on property, use a bath/shower, leave and come back. We're done. read more

OK... first the basics: nice RV park with friendly staff; facilities are all nice, clean and well-maintained; sites are all large and level; location is great... easy access to shopping AND outdoor/adventure activities. But what's unique about this place? First, they have INDOOR shuffleboard courts. Seriously! They're inside! No baking out in the sun... or worrying about rain! It's like a small bowling alley... without the need to wear dorky shoes! LOL! And then there's the spa. Not only is it big, but it's DEEP. Five FEET deep! I was surprised... I haven't seen one like that... ever! It was so nice to sink down into it and soak your cares away. All-in-all, this is a great place. Our 3rd time here. We've noticed lots of improvements and clean ups since our last visit including many more pull-through spots and a great Pickle ball court. The resort has a great location on a quiet street just off a Main Street and has easy walking access to shopping, restaurants, and a theater. It even has a super code-protected pedestrian gate to shortcut your walk. What could be better! The indoor shuffle board courts are great. No more hot sun or rain worries. Our group uses the clubhouse for dancing and socializing and it comes with a modern kitchen to boot! We'll come back, of course. read more

Very clean park. They're still recovering from the drought and then heavy rains. So some of the spaces have weeds. They're working on making them neater. Huge heated pool, huge hot tub, large laundry room, very friendly staff. Owners are adding 2 pickle courts. Lots pf updates planned. We stayed 2 weeks and really enjoyed the stay. read more

This is our third time staying at the park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are very clean and have showers. Lots of amenities like pool, spa, library, pickle ball court and even a dog run. This year we were pleasantly surprised that they made many of their spaces pull- thru. We come with our square dance group, Romney Stars, and the group uses the lovely multipurpose room with a beautiful wood floor that is fabulous for dancing. Our square dance club, Romney Stars of California, have been coming to Casa Del Sol for the past 6 years. The club house has a very nice floor for dancing. A big kitchen to work in. The management, John and Shiann, are very friendly and helpful. Their security man, Zack, is very helpful and friendly also. So is Annileese. They are preparing to put in security gates. They have also put asphalt in their pull throughs and have widened some spots. Close to restaurants, stores, a movie theater, and a small mall. read more

Stayed here for two nights. They are in the middle of some changes and renovations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and neat. All sites are paved with concrete patio. They have large pull through sites that can accommodate up to 70 feet. Location to restaurants and shopping in Hemet is great. The only negatives; no WiFi and they do offer complimentary cable TV but you have to call the cable company yourself and wait for them to come hook you up. I will definitely go there again. read more

When doing business with Casa Del Sol in Hemet, Ca BEWARE! They will rush you and insist that project be completed all on same day, pay you by check, then when you go to deposit your check you will be notified by your bank that their was a stop payment placed on your check. Your next step will most likely be to contact Casa Del Sol to see why there was a stop payment on your check and you will receive cold shoulder from management with an explanation of your work was unsatisfactory. With this explanation they will also tell you it will cost so much to fix your work. MAKE SURE TO HAVE THEM SIGN ALL ESTIMATES AND CHANGE ORDERS AND IF POSSIBLE PAID IN CASH read more

Charge you for 3 months rent then kick you out after 30 days with no refunds. Wow, okay so we are stuck hear until June 10th you. As the protesters blatantly told us as they picketed your front gate. The people hear are absolutely ridiculous. I have been on bed rest for the past 3 weeks. The management has spread rumors saying my innocent baby isnt my husband's. Im not sure what i did to these people but someone I dont even know came to my camper and accused my of creeping around his trailer at 3:00 in the morning. Yes, you heard that right almost 9 months pregnant and im supposedly walking around looking for things to steal at 3:00 am with a friend and they have me on camera but, I cant see the video. However, I have $250,000.00 worth of stuff at my disposal that is paid for and we hold the pink slips too. Interesting, Who are these people? And who do they think they are? Im curious as to why Shiann didn't inform her husband John that upon arrival we pulled out $10,000 cash to pay our rent in advance, and perhaps it wouldnt be the best idea to make accusations. John and Shiann its called "slander" and "deformation" and you can be sued for that. How dare you tell people that my baby isnt my husband's?! You people have some nerve. We stayed at Casa Del Sol for four and a half months in our rv. The managers John and Cheyanne (as well as the staff) were friendly and very attentive. Any problems that arose were dealt with in a professional and timely manner. In the short time we were there they made many improvements to ensure the safety and quality of the park. It is obvious that they care a great deal about the park and its residents. We would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming place to stay either for a weekend or an extended visit! read more

The sites are large, the staff is awesome, & the location rocks. We've spent 2 months here & love it. We really hate to leave, but the road is calling. We will be back. If you're in the Hemet area, this is the park to stay in. During my stay at the park, I've enjoyed peaceful days and quiet nights with friendly neighbors and staff, as well as plenty of access to a relaxing pool and spa, high quality billiards, shuffleboard, and laundry rooms, a well-equipped gym, and clean restrooms with very accommodating showers. The recent repaving and repainting adds a nice touch as well. But what I really enjoy about this place the most is the service and security. The groundskeeper Trevor is always very visible, constantly at work, and extremely friendly and helpful, and I greatly appreciate his generosity. Not only do I feel safe and secure at night knowing that he's patrolling the park and keeping an eye out for anything out of line, but I am happy to say that I've made a great friend in him as well. Trevor has been consistently punctual, timely, and attentive with every task I've seen him perform, and he's always ready to help. That level of satisfying service is very rare to find, and I'm happy to stay here at the Casa Del Sol for it. read more

We enjoyed our 8-month-stay at Casa Del Sol! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable. There are many facilities on site including a gym, laundry machines, showers and bathrooms, pools, two small dog parks, pool tables, tennis courts and more! There is also a great community center where people gather for dancing, bingo and other fun activities. The resort is gated at all times. There are spots for RVs and even a few mobile homes, too! The location is great if you need to commute to Temecula, Menifee or Lake Elsinore. We are thankful to staff and residences for a peaceful stay. read more

I've been RVing for almost 25 years. I've owned and rented multiple RV's and I've stayed everywhere from KOA'S to primitive State parks. I've never experienced the lack customer service anywhere, as I did at Casa del Sol. Management gave me a great 4-month rate for the price of 3 months. After 10 weeks, we had to leave. The problems started with the manager, he makes no effort to ensure your comfort as a guest or tenant. His social skills are non-existent, he's Rude, self centered, a bully, denies responsibility, kicks you out of his office when you have concerns, and then offers you a refund to leave. When you're ready to leave, he denies the refund. Pool heated when it's 110, weeds everywhere, park lighting inoperable, locks on thermostats busted off, indoor shuffle board locked up during so called "off season", excercise machines in work out room broken down and poorly maintained, park is infested with spiders and ferral cats, homeless people walk freely in and out of park, I had my bike and a propane tank stolen. Park has surveillance cameras but management makes no offer to view footage when thefts are reported. Park security is a young kid who randomly rides around in a golf cart. The office is never open on weekends and closed a lot during the day. Calls to management are never returned. The park is about 70% vacant. Many spaces are filled with old, run down, park models with flat tires and boarded up windows. There's no restrictions on appearance. Many occupied spaces are public eyesores. This park is 5 stars out of 100. It's not an RV resort, it's a run down trailer park. Stay across the street at GOLDEN VILLAGE PALMS. its worth the extra money. read more

We have enjoyed our stay here at Casa Del Sol. We travel frequently and have experienced a lot in our travels. Newly paved sites and roads make driving and parking an RV easy. Beautifully tiled bathrooms with showers are clean every time we use them. The pool is nice, they have 1-3pm for adults only swimming, which is relaxing. The spa tub is large and accommodating. The exercise room works for our needs and is clean. The laundry room may be dated but the machines are in working order and the room is clean. There is a spot to hang out your laundry to air dry in a private enclosed space. The owners have installed security fencing and there are gentlemen who are on security duty which we appreciate having. The owners are great. They do what they can to help when we need something. The RV resort runs like many others and every place has different rules. The rules here are reasonable and the staff are friendly and respectful. You can rent the ballroom for private events which I think is cool. There is a library with a ton of books and puzzles. There is a large room for doing crafts and my kids love it. Coffee is served every morning complimentary by the office. We haven't had a reason to complain. read more

I first visited Casa Del Sol four years ago, and have returned every year since. Started RV-ing in a fifth wheel, then two seasons ago ordered a park model through the park manager, John. LOVE LOVE LOVE my park model; with John's help, I now have all the room and features that I could want. Lots of fun activities in the park: bingo, breakfasts, dinners, holiday events, pickle-ball, shuffleboard, swimming, pool parties and more. John's wife Shiann works in the office, and she always greets me with a smile, happy to help in any way. Park security is great, too -- new lighting and security gates have recently been added, and other improvements continue to make our park even better. Casa Del Sol is my winter home and community...John and Shiann have made me feel welcome and I've made lots of friends here, and I love it!! read more

We recently stayed at Casa Del Sol with our Square Dance Club. Upon our arrival we noticed that some of the RV spaces had been realigned since our last visit in May. When we enquired with the Manager, John, he was less than helpful and his attitude with us was short. That night thieves robbed $ 2,000.00 of our belongings from our Jeep. In fact there were three vehicles in the park that were robbed including the Manager's vehicle. He still was not helpful or caring. He didn't even see the need to notify the police of this incident, or offer us the Police phone number knowing that we were from out of town. The next day we were searching the RV park trash dumpsters and vacant spaces to see if we could find our belongings and John stopped to question us as to why we were looking in the dumpsters. We never saw a Security Guard on duty. I would think that if a business did in fact employ a security guard it would be policy for them to at least complete some sort of incident report when this type of thing occurs. There are lots of vacant abandoned sheds throughout the park. Many of the sites have long term tenants in them many of which are collectors of junk. The discounted rate for our club was $40.00 per night which seems high to me for these less than standard accommodations and hospitality. read more

As wagon master for 12 rigs with the California Coachmen, I cook the meals for the days booked and I really love the kitchen.....Large enough to have help getting things done without tripping over each other. 3 sinks, 2microwaves, 2 stove/oven combos ( that are so up to date I don't know how to use them..lol ) and a beautiful grill that just begs to be used. This is our third time here and we love the shuffle board courts, the friendly staff, and are amazed at the improvements that have been made since our first trip here. read more
