Wings were okay. Steven said that this was his favorite restraint to get chicken wings, but I was not super duper impressed. I liked that the staff made sure to address any questions and concerns with the menu before we ordered, but they would disrupt us with too many check-ins at our table, even when it was clear that we were deep in conversation and did not need anything. Would interrupt and take over our conversations at the table. I liked that there are different flavors available to try with the wings, but they only limit you to two of them. Very dim lighting that it is hard to read the menu, but I guess that it creates a more intimate atmosphere. Hard to take any nice photos. Odd and disturbing experience here. Went with my wife, who ordered while I went to the bathroom. Was told by some prim, self-righteous little waiter that she had "slurred" while ordering and that they could not serve her. She literally had two drinks over several hours before we visited this dump, primarily because it was one of the few places open past 10 pm. She is a career educator who does more for the community in a day than this priggish clown has likely done in a lifetime. She has a distinct accent but was in no way anything close to impaired. I thought this guy must have been joking, but a manager came over and said since he had said something, she could not serve her either. She said she hoped we would return. Fat chance. I don't know who these folks think they are but rest assured neither is in danger of being invited to any Mensa meeting. I've been going out for decades, long before either of these bozos was even a gleam in their father's eye, and have never experienced anything like this. No better way to celebrate a pub trivia victory than with food, bevs and friends. When our waitress Lauren said P&P is known for their wings, I had to be "in the know." Select your cook-style, fried or naked (not-fried), then choose from their assortment of flavors; 2 of us went with naked (me and a gluten free friend) with 4 others going with battered bird. Though less healthy, the traditional battered wings were better in texture and flavor profile because the coat held/absorbed sauce. In order of our fave flav's: spicy garlic parmesan, Carolina tangy, mango habanero, buffalo and orange zest. It's important to mention half of our group ate at P&P the night before; they liked the wings so much, they even ordered the same sauce varieties as the previous night. Despite having a full-service bar, I was a little disappointed in the "pour" aspect, simply due to the lack of (local) craft drafts.
