Stopped by with my coworkers. They have great lunch specials. I got the 2 slices with a drink. The service was great and our orders were ready quickly even with the slices being placed in the oven to be warmed up. There was a steady flow of people dining in and customers picking up orders. I had a hiccup with a big order once but it hasn't stopped me from going back many more times after. I prefer calling ahead for the $13 1 topping 18" pizza carry out special. While I used to love your pizza I have to say I've been disappointed my last 4 visits. I normally get the butcher and it's been undercooked, today so much that I put it in the oven when I got home because it was near raw. The amount of crust around the edge keeps growing and meat goes down. Customer service is never great, but tonight 12/30 it was especially bad. Showed up for pickup when told and had to wait 20 min. Not that busy but everyone was waiting for their order and no one at counter who would talk to you. I think I'm heading back to Cogans or Dominoes .. at least they are consistent. read more

Horrible delivery service. Sick of them. Why should I wait for an hour and a half for a 14" pizza on a Thursday night that I ordered after 8 p.m.? I sent the driver back and told him to keep the pizza and that I've had enough of the late deliveries. He still showed up after I called them and told them to cancel the delivery. I absolutely love their pizza. I get the New York style stuffed chicken and ranch pizza, but substitute the ranch for buffalo sauce to make it a buffalo pizza. If you like buffalo pizza, I highly suggest giving me a try. Their mild wings are also very delicious. Always get a some of those when we go there. This most recent time we got the meat lovers New York style stuffed pizza, which was delicious. If you're looking for authentic Italian pizza go here. I can't say I've never eaten inside, I'm always getting it to go so travels very well lol. But the inside reminds me of a business in New York and the staff is very nice. We stopped in after the ODU football game and the place was slammed - carryout crazy and luckily we were able to snag a table that had just gotten up! Osh was our server and she was AMAZING! I believe it was her and 1 other server in the dining room area and they were handling the mob of customers like each table was the only table in there. Osh was soooooo friendly, pleasant and attentive and I'm not sure how she managed to give that service to every one of her tables with how busy it was...but she did! To top it off our pizza and bacon/cheese fries were SOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS! Service here was amazing. Shay helped me out and came by often to check on me. The place was pretty quiet when I came in and they had football on the TV, which was nice because I was dining alone. The food wasn't terrible, but nothing amazing. I should have ordered the pizza. My pasta was a bit overcooked, so it became a slimy mess with the Marsala sauce. Everything needed a little salt. You definitely get the most bang for your buck here. It's not gourmet pizza, more like college/ny style pizza. I love how you can get it by the slice in case you didn't want a whole pizza. The service is always pretty quick and they're cool people. The ambiance definitely is the college feel. My favorite flavors to get are the sausage and pep and the chicken ranch pizza. Their wings are pretty good, I really liked the garlic Buffalo. It wasn't too spicy and had the right amount of tang. The calamari and the stuffed shells were both okay, but didn't expect it to be amazing. I like how there's 2 sides to the place. One side to get pizza by the slice or if you just wanted to go orders. I just started working in the area and my coworkers wanted to take me to some of their favorite spots in the area. Del Vecchios was the first spot. I was a little hesitant because it was giving "hole in the wall" but those usually have the best food and it didn't disappoint. We got there around 11:45am and ordered our food to go. There was about 3 people in front of us. I got the 2 supreme pizza and a drink lunch special. The prices were reasonable too. While waiting for our food I noticed there was a dine in area on the other side. By the time our food was ready, the line was wrapped around the building. I would suggest getting there before noon. The pizza tasted pretty good. We got big slices and I was pleased. I've been 2 more times and it gets better and better. I would recommend it to everyone! read more

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, with dim lighting and Italian-inspired decor that makes you feel like you're in a traditional pizzeria in Naples. The menu had an extensive range of toppings, from classic margherita to more innovative combinations like prosciutto and arugula. We ordered the mushroom and truffle oil pizza, which was a delicious medley of earthy flavors and a perfect crust that wasn't too thin or too thick. The service was prompt and courteous, and our server was happy to recommend some excellent wine pairings to go with our pizza. We also decided to try a side of garlic knots, which were soft and buttery and the perfect complement to our meal. I placed my order online and it actually did not take as long as it was supposed to. The pizza is good and reasonably priced. It's nothing to shout about, just decent and good enough to scarf down after a long day. The Bronx is definitely a good pizza and I'm grateful there are vegetarian options here. This was my first time here a few weeks ago and I loved it! We had pizza and wings before the wrestling event at Chartway. We were seated quickly, but the staff was limited. While we were on a time crunch, the service was a bit slow and the food took longer than expected to reach our table. Nevertheless, the server was attentive and on point throughout our dining experience. He did tell me his name, but I so forgot. And he was actually running the front and seating/serving guests. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. Only one hiccup, a friend order something but after minutes of waiting the server informed him they were out and he was unaware. No biggie, but communication is key, especially when you have your mouth set on something to eat and then minutes later are told the sad news. Oh well. We did ask for the wings to be fried hard... they were great! My husbae and I shared a large pizza. I think it was large. Well we both had four slices and tore it up! I recommend you check out this spot. Not sure if 'real' Italian is what you are searching for, but if pizza and wings tickle your fancy this place is worth checking out. Parking... it can be a challenge, but this spot is located off of the busy Hampton Blvd. perhaps there is parking in the rear. But we parking in the Chartway garage and walked over with no issues. Now that's pizza that reminds me of my old stomping grounds back in Jersey! After an intense hour of playing Dodge Bow, four of my friends and I headed up to Del Vecchio's for pizza. We got an 18 inch Staten Island (the chicken parm pizza) as well as a 14 inch that was half veggie and half veggie with pepperoni and sausage. They do have limited seating in a back dining room. The pizzas took about 15-20 minutes to cook, so if nothing else, you know they're being made from scratch, well I'm sure the dough is already prepared. We wolfed both of the pizzas down with no problem. The crust was crunchy, but still had that chew, such an important combination for a quality pizza crust. I could taste the sauce, which was important, a lot of pizza places either don't put enough sauce on or they put so much on that it gets the crust a little bit soggy. That did not happen here. And great quality ingredients. The vegetables were fresh and I could really taste the Italian seasonings in the thinly sliced sausage. Food: We ordered Calzone, calamari, tiramisu, and chocolate cake to share among 3 people. Where to start? Calzone was just horrible. calamari was horrible. Tiramisu was good, but my wife, the tiramisu connoisseur (she orders it where ever we go) is convinced (she could be wrong) that it's costco tiramisu. The chocolate cake also tasted out of a freezer. An extra large pizza is plenty to share between 2-3 people. Every time I go to pick up my pizza, it is always crowded with people - evidence that their pizza is off the charts! Excellent pizzas and Greek salad (5 out of 5) with a hassle-free contact-less delivery through Grubhub but a 3-star review had to happen after finding a shard of plastic cooked into my pizza crust! I'm just thankful it happened to be in my crust rather than in one of the kids' slices and thankfully I caught it before getting hurt by it.
