Almost 5 stars!!! Ahhhmazing! We got the 1/2 charcoal chicken dark, with a side of fried rice and plantains, the 5 piece whole wings (moon dust), and the lamb chops with 2 sides, and 2 drinks, for my family of 4. Lamb chops - OMG Moon dust wings - OMG Charcoal Chicken - OMG The only thing that stand out as something that needs to be worked on are the sides. The sides are just mid and also sitting out on the bar behind the counter. Theres so much emphasis in flavor of the meat that I feel that the sides were an after thought. The meat is absolutely delicious though. The charcoal 1/2 chicken had flavors I couldn't even make out, but it was deliciously fresh. The lamb chomps were so tender and easy to bite and chew. The whole wings were fresh and crunchy. Be prepared for a longer wait time. I suggest calling beforehand. This place was packed with people waiting for their food. I can't wait to go back and try some other items on the menu.

If you've had Sardi's in the DMV, you will love this place. The food was much more flavorful than Sardi's. The chicken was tender, the sides were flavorful. There was a long wait, but I will definitely be back.

This new spot is really good ! Little pricey but worth the amount of food they give you in the combo plates. Service was excellent they were very helpful and friendly. If I ever got the carne asada again I would choose a different side and not rice because they have rice under the carne asada already. The chicken is very good!!

Great spot!! Food was amazing, the chicken was so flavorful and there were so many options for the sides. From plantains to fried rice to yucca fries! I loved them all! The service was fast and the lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful with what sauces to try out! The place is simple and open.

I kept seeing this spot all over TikTok, so I had to check it out and I'm glad I did! I had the lamb chops with fried rice and plantains, plus a few of their steak tacos. Everything was packed with flavor. The plantains could've used a little more time, but overall, the food was so good. The menu is huge, so I'm already planning my next visit. They have indoor seating, but I grabbed mine to go. Heads up, it gets busy, so I'd recommend ordering ahead, l waited about 40 minutes for my food.

The food was spectacular with a great price to boot! Chicken very juicy and flavorful, and the string beans and cheesy potatoes to die for. Service was amazing as well, the cashier was very kind and helpful. Cute hole in the wall with great food, will definitely come back!!!

Definitely liking this place. It's great for a ketovore or carnivore diet by the way. My chicken was seriously delicious. These people are busy for a reason!

Omg. The bowls! I get these regularly and am never disappointed. It's also a lot of food. I usually can only eat 1/2 at a time.

The chicken is the best Peruvian chicken you can get in the area. A staple for those who want chicken and rice tacos.

Ambiance is aesthetically pleasing with a country roadside shack motif. The bar area has TVs with sports and a great selection of craft beers and house specialty cocktails. The only drawback is that parking during peak working hours can be tricky with only street parking available as there are lots of small businesses and other restaurants in this area with the same issue. The Food is REALLY GOOD! I had the Pork & Pollock; a healthy lump of pulled pork with two pieces of battered and fried pollock, a cup of slaw and a side of your choice (I got the Cindy's Mac-n-cheese). I also added a side of their hushpuppies, and my only complaint is that my stomach was not big enough to finish it all. Tip: if your hushpuppies come out with their house made honey butter, just ask you will thank me latter. Various BBQ sauces are provided on the table for your meats and sides; my favorite was the sweet Memphis style. If you are in the area and hungry, I highly recommend finding a parking spot and swinging in!

I enjoyed the Fried Chicken sandwich which also comes with boardwalk fries which are sinfully good. The chicken sandwich is a favorite with just the right amount of pickles, Surry ham, and arugula. The aioli is a nice and tasty addition to the sandwich. The Lobster Roll was also ordered at our table. It was enjoyed by the guest although it seemed like quite a small meal presentation especially for the price of $28.50. It was served on a small plate and just didn't look like a $30 dinner. We also ordered the Halloumi Fries which were underwhelming in size and taste. We love Halloumi so this was a bit of a disappointment. Our server was fantastic. She knew the specials and the happy hour deals etc for the night which I believe for us was 20% off of our glass of wine. She was friendly and prompt with everything. The ambiance is always nice here with dim lighting and a relaxing atmosphere.

She memorized all the day's specials alongside their prices and listed them off to us without any mistakes and even discussed in length what these food items were when we had questions. The prices are a little steep but the place is upscale and food is a bit on the fancier side. They serve authentic flavors and fantastic service and I think it's absolutely worth it. The space inside is small with a bar and has intimate lighting. Perfect for a cozy date with someone. There is also some outdoor seating as well. It is situated in the livelier part of Colley and sits right across Elation. It's nice to take a walk around afterwards to see what else is going on in the area!
