I'd avoid this company. My experience is from several years ago. Without exception, the office…read morepeople were rude. They wouldn't install new electric fans/heaters in early December and made us wait until mid-January. Once installed, the fans were extremely noisy like an airplane engine! When I asked about this, I was told that it was how those fans are. (In fact, I have others that are much quieter.) Then they installed a new electrical panel, refused to close up the holes they made in our wall, left wires exposed and refused to label the circuit breakers. Not a good experience!!

I haven't heard back from them in over a month after 4 phone calls was going to open bidding for another company to finish up the job? What else would a customer expect to do? Today Ocean electric just rolled up to my house to put a "guy wire" on a pole installed 3 months ago? PSE&G have shown up to the house looking to connect me 3 x with truck crews. Walking away shaking their head. Asking Me to have Ocean electric call them! I told them, they won't even call me! I'd look for another Company on Long Island to do anything of significance. Communication is key when having a job done and this company lacks it. Your never too big to treat your customers right Ocean.

We recently asked him to come and fix our lights on front yard and driveway which has not worked properly for the past 20 years. Al took his time to figure out the problem and fixed our lights. We are very happy with his work. He is professional courteous and takes care. We used other people in the pst for the same issue and lost money. As long as he can help us - he will be our electrician.

He's up to date with current payment technology so it was a breezy experience to use my credit card for payment. (None of this "we accept cash only or check scenario!") Not only Peter has one of the coolest name, same as Peter Jackson, the director of infamous Lord of the Ring movie series, so it's easy to remember, and his price seems very reasonable so his firm will be on my contact list whenever I need a reliable electrician's service in the future.
