Found a great bike for a reasonable price (it was 30% the usual $500 = $346, get there fast!), with great service by Joe and friendly follow up. Another store we visited the same day had $500 as their lowest price for a basic bike with gear. We bought a lock that was not long enough - they were willing to replace it with a different one although we already used it. Haven't got to actually replace it yet - but so far they look great. I've been shopping for a Cyclocross bike for the last couple of weeks, hitting different shops here and there along my varying travel routes. I came here on recommendation from family and the difference was noticeable. This staff of this shop want to get you into the right bike for you, not just sell you a bike (let alone an expensive one). I worked with Dave, Anthony, Bill and a couple others and they were all courteous and extremely helpful. They all know their stuff! The best part of my buying experience was after I had left the store with my new Cannondale CAADX. I got home and was double-checking my receipt and I realized that I had apparently (and quite accidentally) been overcharged on the bike. There had been a different price marked on the tag when I was there, but it appeared to have been rung up at the original price. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so I just called Dave and he told me he would look into the following day. They looked it up, found that it had accidentally been overcharged and refunded me the difference then and there. if i could give you more stars, i would. i have bought two bikes from you guys in the last 6 months (one gravel for bikepacking and one hardtail for mountain biking) and they never pressured me but instead answered all of my questions and were seriously stoked for me and my new bikes and adventures. the hardtail i got had a crazy long seat tube so they went to the back and cut it down to size. i then got a flat on my gravel bike and couldn't remove the tire myself so i brought it in and they fixed it within minutes. just now i was noticing some chain rub on my gravel bike so i called them and they said come on in, Chris propped my bike up on the stand and like a magician fixed the chain rub and shifting with his eyes practically closed. i was in and out in 3 minutes. i will NEVER betray this shop and go elsewhere cus they have the best selection and the absolute best, kind, and knowledgeable staff in the denver area. I bought my Cervelo P3 last year (2017) and when they did my first fitting, it was not correct (numb hands within a 5-mile ride and very uncomfortable). So I called and set up a 2nd fitting appointment, free of charge. Josh did my fitting and now I love riding my tri bike. Josh came in on his day off and was very helpful. I would like to thank and recommend this bike shop. I have been considering getting back into mountain biking and have my first mountain bike (20yrs old) that needed some TLC. I wanted to get this bike working good enough to see if I really would get back into it before investing on a new bike. I have not been able to take it up to the mountains yet, but took it on the plate river trails the problems I was having when I stopped riding are gone. These guys are rad. Booked a Hightower to Demo and, on getting in the shop and seeing they had a Tallboy, changed my mind. The guys went out of their way to get the Tallboy set up for me despite that they had already done that for the Hightower. No attitude, no complaints , just great service. On top of that, the bike was in great shape and worked beautifully. Lots of selection of good stuff and the staff to help you make the right decision. Love them! Had finished a ride and stopped in to shop as my friend told me shoes were on sale. Dave noticed my headset was loose and while tightening he noticed my cables were not on correct and my tires needed air. He got everything adjusted and ready for me to ride again. I purchased a bicycle from Pedal about two years ago. I knew what I wanted, what I wanted to pay, they had it, I went there and looked. I worked in bike shops all through college, and have little patience for bike shop attitude. I got _none_ at Pedal. Super friendly people, listened, made suggestions, I left with something different & have been very happy with it. Recently, a pedal failed. I went back to Pedal to see if they had replacement bearings. Well out of warranty, and no, they had no bearings - understandable, it is an unusual size in this pedal. I purchased a second set of pedals, figured I'd go to a bearing store at some point and match something up. Later that day, Chris called and asked for pictures of the pedal. Long story short, I have a brand new pair - the company (45nrth) warrantied it, despite being well out of warranty. Consider me a VERY happy customer - I received better service from Pedal than I have _ANY_ other bike shop. Highly recommended. read more

Pedal is always fantastic whenever we stop by for anything. Helpful people always there with a smile and great service. They did a bronze service on my Ruby yesterday and found my chain was worn. They called and suggested I change it out to avoid damaging components. I was thankful they were so thorough and they did a great job with the service. I rode Ruby today for the first time since the service and she went better than ever. Nice smooth shifting, nice and clean, and everything was in tip top shape. This is the ONLY place I will go for anything bike related. We moved here last year and I got my husband's bike tuned up at Bike Source (didn't know about Pedal at that point). The only thing we needed done really were the tires put on (movers took them off). Bike was in great shape and yet Bike Source found a way to rack up quite a bill. When I dropped it off I was told $125. When we picked it up they said it was $475!! Needless to say I was committed to finding a new shop. When I got my husband's road bike (Craigs list purchase) we took it to Pedal and they were honest from the get go. I asked if I should get him new tires and they said no they were in great shape. That stuck with me- they clearly were honest salespeople which impressed me. We brought the back bike to get there to get fitted (again didn't try to sell us things unnecessarily). Today we went back for their annual bday celebration and was shocked that they were treating their customers to lunch FREE. Even if you didn't buy anything! They know how to treat their customers that is for sure. We did take advantage of their great sale- my son got a new bike :) read more

Super disappointed! Spent over $2000 on a Canondale in December. When I tried to get in for a professional fitting, they were too busy and very rude. Brought it in at the beginning of June for a tire issue, which they fixed, but again service left a lot to be desired and they were very rude. Brought it in today for a crank issue... They said they wouldn't even look at my bike until July 16th, no matter how minor the issue is. The front counter people were short and rude, the service people treated me poorly and the owner, Andy, was the most rude out of all of them! I would hope for a local, small business they would treat their patrons better and appreciate their business, but not the case here... I now have to take my bike elsewhere to get looked at and will never step foot into Pedal again. I really enjoy outdoor cycling, have a lot of friends that cycle outdoors, I train indoors with a lot of avid outdoor cyclist and I would recommend to all of them to stay clear of Pedal. read more

They went above and beyond! I was discouraged when I went in to have work done that another shop didn't get right. They told me they would do what I wanted, but that I really only needed to do half of it to get the performance fixed, cutting my bill in half! They got the work done way earlier than they anticipated, threw in some free tweaks to make it ride smoother, showed me how to do basic maintenance myself without me asking, and even showed me how to load it into my car best, until I can get a rack. They obviously genuinely want to help people get safely onto the road. I'll definitely return. I'm new to cycling and they didn't make me feel judged in any way. I went in to test ride and learn about fat bikes. I could not have happened upon a better place. I had the pleasure of working with Andy, one of the owners. Within a few moments it was very obvious that not only was he extremely knowledgeable in the field, but also a passionate rider himself with a lot of real world experience on fat bikes that he was willing to share. He showed me some excellent choices, some of which I had not previously considered. I went home and researched his recommendations, and they were all spot on. Over the course of the next few weeks, he built up several bikes for me to test, just to ensure that I would be happy. Once I decided on the frame, he helped me pick out virtually every individual component, including some spectacular custom built wheels. When it was all said and done, I had a totally unique and beautiful bicycle that was custom built for me. The entire experience was outstanding. Andy continues to educate me and help with additional equipment to get me into this new winter sport. He patiently answered numerous emails with questions and additional requests, most within an hour. I look forward to the next project! I came in to buy a road bike last November. I explained that I was going to use it to commute to work everyday (~25 miles), including the winter, and also use it to go on long bike rides on the weekends. They suggested that given what I was going to use the bike for I should look at a cyclocross instead. I ended up buying one that they recommended, although I was slightly skeptical. However, they were completely right. I love this bike. I use it on long rides on trails, roads, up Waterton Canyon, Lookout Mountain, everywhere.
