Fast and friendly service! We had to pivot from our usual neighborhood bike shop after being told it would be several days before they could put on a new tube. Searched for alternatives and called before making the mistake to lug the bike in/out of car again. The associate that answered was warm and could get us in right away. When we arrived, we were greeted and taken to the repair area. The pups in the shop were incredibly friendly too! The total cost was $23 and they were able to get it done quickly. This store has no integrity nor concern for its customers living in this community. I visited this store to replace my e-bike that had been stolen. I noticed a bike priced at $998 and the person there told me about the bike from front to rear. The bike has a single gear in the bike which helped prevent damage, and was lighter than my former e-bike. The guy there said, "oh, that's the wrong price" and, "I have been requesting that it be changed for days". I told him since it was labeled at that price he should allow me to buy it at, which he scoffed at and said the bike was actually $3k. While I understand retailers can decide whether or not they honor a price on an item that is mislabeled but they could have offered more to make a sale vs. letting the bike go unsold. I returned today to see what they would say and the answer was that the tag was "digitally" generated but that he could look up the correct price for me. I walked out and only planning to return so I can return $120 item I purchased on 02/21. I will take my business elsewhere ... it is unfortunate because I live six blocks from this store and planned to make this my bike hub but now plan to go elsewhere where integrity is practiced. read more

I stopped by the Hale location a couple of times --- to shop for bike accessories and to get a winter tune-up. My visits were very pleasant. When I was shopping for accessories, the staff carefully explained the different options, along with the different price points. The guy who assisted me was not pushy at all. I purchased a 2022 Trek Verve 3 low-step online and selected in store pick up- I did a fair amount of research on comfort bikes and so I didn't utilize the staff much. At the store, I did a test ride around the neighborhood, and since the bike was appropriate for my body size and stature, I took it home. Also, it was Labor Day weekend, and the sale price was an exceptional deal. I even brought my old bike and donated it- it's wonderful and convenient to donate a bike here. Went here once to have my older bike tuned up, they got me riding again and I fell in love with it. Unfortunately that bike was absconded with shortly thereafter. Came back in because of the great service and attention to detail and Christine hooked me up with a 2020 Kona Dew. I had a disappointing experience at Elevation Cycles in October 2022. I paid for a tune up and a bike to box to ship to Cali. The mechanic who unboxed my bike told me there was no evidence whatsoever of a tuneup, not a spec of oil on the bike. I took a look and found the same. I reached out to the team at the downtown location about purchasing a replacement tubeless wheel. John confirmed it was in stock but then asked what was going on with my tire. I called at 4:30 and he told me they were doing a tubeless clinic that night and to swing by and they could look at my bike. I am new to tubeless so the clinic was extremely helpful. He walked through all the tips and tricks for repairs and common issues. He did a demo of the repair, talked about the different types of sealants, and common pitfalls of working with the sealants. He then used my bike as an example of what not to do... Rookie mistake of no sealant because it dried up! He fixed it within a matter of minutes. I now feel more confident with tubeless set up. The team was awesome! Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable in repairs and bikes, and they did not make me feel like an idiot for not knowing something! It was fun to hear their personal stories of how they messed up something and learned along the way. Thanks again John, Whitney and the whole team. Being a total newbie when it comes to owning a full suspension mountain bike, bringing my newly purchased bike in for a safety check, pedals etc was a great experience with minimal awkwardness! I went in yesterday and bought a bike for my wife and I (hybrid for road/off-road). The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable, and the shop puppy was a gentleman. The prices are pretty high (welcome to Denver), but otherwise it was a great experience. If basic repairs are also as seamless, I'd say this is a well tuned machine. I purchased 2 e-bikes at Bicycle Village, Aurora. I had to use the service there a number of times. I found them to be pleasant enough, but had a lot of rework. I had a warranty issue they did not resolve so I tried this store. They were fantastic! I just took my bike for a tire repair. They are quick and well priced. Many of the bike shops offer free annual tuneups. When I contacted BV -- they told me I should plan on leaving my bike for 3 weeks. That pretty much tells me they do not want to do a free tune up. I am thinking this winter I will instead pay for the tuneup with Elevation Cycles. read more
