If you need Service man or salesman buy from Anthony only . Anthony is so good and fast at fixing any bike ... he is the best ! I bought a Pedego 5 yrs ago and it's still works awesome today . I bought 2 electric bikes from Howard and did not have a good experience. I bought 2 of them at over $7k. One was the step through and one city commuter . The step through was very wobble to ride and not comfortable. I had it for 1 day and he did not want to return it for a another City Commuter . I ended up contacting The Pedego Headquarters in Cali and they actually care about the customer . They contacted Howard and I was able to exchange my bike . Only bad thing is he was so pissy about it that he ordered the color of his choice . Now I have 2 of the same colored bikes , Poor customer service . If I'm spending $7k on 2 bikes you think the customer service would be par. I have to say Pedego is an incredible brand that last a long time . My battery cost $900 and it still working after 5 yrs . I probably put 50,000 miles on it . Pedego is an amazing bike that is very reliable . I own 2 city commuters and they are so much fun ... the bikes can get up too 25mph with the throttle . If you pedal with the assist on 2 you can go 60 miles . The battery last a long time . I always charge it right when I'm done . I never let the battery get low and it's lasted 5 yrs and still going . I had 2 friends buy other bikes because of the bad customer service with Howard . Howard lost business on 2 big sales because of his bad customer service . He should probably sell the business to someone who will enjoy it more because Pedego is an incredible bike ! One star for this particular location, not Pedego itself. Once we purchased our TWO bikes, the customer service ended. There is no follow up and nothing but rudness from the office staff. They actually slammed the phone and hung up on a phone call while we were inquiring on the status of our most recent bike repairs (recall work and a damaged tire). Delivery promises have NEVER BEEN MET... When the bikes were picked up for the warranty work and tire repair we asked that all tires be upgraded to a stronger more "puncture resistant" product. The bikes were delivered back to us today. Allegedly the recall work has been done (who actually knows with this shop). The one tire was fixed only, no upgrades... These people really need to retire. They don't seem to give a rat about their customers needs. read more

BAD VIBES! I visited this location alone one day in the start of my search for an electric bike. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the location is in one of those warehouse business parks and I was already a little nervous. I visited about 45 minutes before closing, hoping to just take a quick look at inventory and then go. Inside the front door was the office and only the hired cleaning crew up were stationed up front when I entered. They saw me and summoned the manager, Howard. He came out and introduced himself, and I told him I wanted to just take a quick look and not take up his time, now understanding he would have to escort me through the process. He led me to the back where inventory is kept where I noticed we were now the only two people back there. I barely had a chance to explain what I was shopping for when he pulled out one bike, and only one bike to showcase. After explaining that my husband and I were seasoned recreational bikers who understood the mechanics, had deeply researched ebikes online, and were avid and active riders, he still insisted on talking me through the minutia of bike mechanics without considering my user level or listening to my signals that I understood and wanted to move on. I felt "mansplained" to. I even pointed out a couple of other styles I might be interested in, particularly a fat tire mountain bike style. He brushed over my interest, and simply asked "is that something your husband would be interested in?" Aside from the droning and the lack of listening skills, there were also some highly creepy comments and insinuations, such as a comment he made after i stated that ebikes feel like you're cheating, "oh you like to cheat?" He said with a "look". He also explained to me colors and styles that "the girls" like, because they soften up the harsh look of an all black style. At one point, I found myself with Howard at the back, dark corner of the shop where he kept his junk, adjacent to the stairs that led up to some kind of rec room he described as having a comfy couch, pool table, wine cooler etc. He didn't invite me up there, but he made it sound really, really enticing, almost like I might have wanted to see it for myself after listening to him. There were other small comments I hated but it was all very borderline creepy. As someone who has experienced the subtle tactics men use when they're alone with women, I feel the need to warn anyone else out there to avoid solo trips to the back of Howard's shop. After I finally got through to him that I wasn't picking up a bike and that I had been there too long, he led me out of the shop towards the front office. As I thought I was gonna be able to leave, he ushered me into his office to write up an entire purchase order, which dragged the interaction out another 20 minutes. He showed me every cheap accessory, he spent what felt like forever looking for a pen he liked (after looking through a cup of perfectly usable pens), and he even waved an envelope full of cash around as his cleaning staff waited for payment outside his office so they could go home for the day, saying "thiiiiiiiis is what they're waiting for, this is what they want". What a jerk. And the real closer for me? The shrines to Donald and Melania Trump in his office. That's where it allllllll came together. He gave me catalogues, the hand written purchase order for a bike I was absolutely not interested in, and I was finally able to escape. As I got in my car, he came outside to knock on my window, determined to make sure I saw his nice Porsche with the "bike rack I was telling you about" on the back. I've seen a bike rack before bro, I know what they look like. I drove away and immediately called my husband to whine that this is why I hate shopping without him. Never will I ever go back or buy a Pedego. read more

I called and left a message to find out when the store would be open - we later went by and saw a person at the store, who said, "Oh, we never check our voicemails." We bought our first e-bike from Pedego-Henderson a little over two years ago. We bought a second one about a year ago. Each time the experience was first rate. Are there better e-bikes than Pedego? Maybe. Are there better dealers and more proactive service techs than at Pedego-Henderson? I don't think so. For each bike purchase we dealt with the owner, Howard. Smooth, easy; like buying something from a friend. Howard went out of his way to make sure that we were completely satisfied and got exactly what we wanted. He personally delivered the bikes and kept in touch to make sure that everything was ok. Keep in mind, while e-bikes aren't extremely complicated, they do come with their own set of quirks--all battery dependent vehicles do . . . just ask a Tesla owner. Because of this, it's important for an e-bike mechanic to not only be an excellent bicycle technician, but someone who takes a serious interest in staying current in rapidly changing e-bike field. Pedego-Henderson's bike mechanic, Anthony meets both requirements. After my warranty ran out, I wanted to put on some aggressive looking tires. Anthony helped me pick them out and explained the pros and cons. They came out great. He also showed my husband some repair/adjustment procedures he could do at home to avoid a service call. Service at Pedego-Henderson is not only performed correctly, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. You can compare what a regular bike shop charges (if they'll even touch an e-bike) and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Plus they pick up and deliver. I've mentioned Howard and Anthony . . . but every employee I've met there was friendly and courteous. read more
