I went riding with my son on a particular weekend, where the Las Vegas strip was only filled with "bike riders", mostly groups of families and friends. This was a fun night! Especially since we have been home for over 2 months, due to social distancing. I thought to rent bikes, and going for a ride might be just what we need, to bring our morale up! I was so excited to start our tour (even though we are locals) that I didn't really read the instructions well enough. Because of my mistake, I was charged for late fees and going over the allowed time. I contact their customer service eminently, in regards, and they were nothing but helpful and understanding with me. They ended up refunding me the whole amount charged, even though it was my fault for these charges. Personally, I think their personnel exceeded with their customer service, they were nothing but understanding, especially in these hard times we are all facing together as a nation. I want to recommend their services to anybody out there, that is trying to experience something new or just to fall in love with bike riding again. Please go check them out, it would most definitely be a memorable night/day you will have with your family and friends.

AMAZING bike shop. Doesn't have a large selection of bicycles but there is bare necessities. John is classic and extremely knowledgeable about bikes and bike repair. He doesn't mess around. The downtown biker masters told my man about this place. Best kept secret bicycle shop in Vegas. If you're in the market for a used bike or want to sell your bike on consignment this is a great place to go. Or just pick up a fixie for $300.

Just one of the rows of bikes; a set of lockers (avail. to members); & an electric bike awaiting valet (avail. to all).

Where to start? Pros: - John is the man. He will even teach you how to inflate your tires! (Tell him I sent you.) - There are bikes, clean showers, lockers and restroom facilities exclusive for members (I cannot recall how much membership was, but it was not expensive), air pumps, now only one remaining chair, and if you have to park your bike outside: roving armed guards who seemingly deter theft enough so one's vehicle is still there upon return. YMMV. (Lock your fucking bike up correctly [that includes the saddle, yo.]) - New!: There is a bike stand outside. It even has tools (if any of you steal them ....) Cons: - Those same armed guards may entirely too trigger-happy so you may end up being collateral damage if you resemble a zombie or are talking to one when they are put down. - Only open from 7AM to 7PM (although, parking outside is open twenty-four hours, obviously). Neither Pro nor Con: - So-called Zombie Apocalypse taking place outside. Some days they are ultimately entertaining, on others they want to make you just cry . Do not ride your bike within the curtilage of the BTC. There is an N.R.S. for that and I have heard -- although never actually witnessed -- guards are quick to get on you about it. Never experienced it myself, I prefer to strut about while steering my bike by the head. Yeah, I am cool like that. The bike centre membership gets you discounts on all repairs and I think it even gets you complimentary tune-ups. Not sure about that: go and ask. I know for sure that it allows you to lock your shit up in a locker while you go out looking like a Modern Man walking in DLV. Wear your helmet. - E

A local bike shop that operates out of the RTC Bonnavile transit hub. I've bought a bike here and have had various repairs/upgrades done. The staff is friendly , knowledgable and don't try to upsell you. As a matter of fact , the staff is always open to engage in bike talk regardless of what you ride. This particular shop also have a bathroom with showers that is available to members for a very minimal fee. The parent shop of this place is Las Vegas Cyclery. This shop doesn't have as many accessories as a full blown shop but they have all the essentials. Repair costs are affordable. I come back because the people are very chill and down to earth. -John is the man. Knows his stuff when it comes to bikes. Always tells you the truth and is very knowledgeable.

Today Mayor Goodman encouraged journalists and developers to take a bus tour outside of City Hall to feature the Downtown's Momentum. Afterward my photographer and I met at the Bonneville Transit Center for a story on your Bike Center. They were great. Very encouraging. I wish more people knew that the RTC has a bike shop like yours for quick fixes while biking around Las Vegas.

Honestly, this was one of the best purchasing experiences I've ever had…read more I found the exact bike I wanted through the Specialized site and it came up as available at Swanny's. I'm in LA but figured I'd call to see if it was any cheaper than my local shop. They informed me that because they were shipping from Nevada to LA there wasn't any sales tax (10.5%) and they would throw a little love on top. They sent an invoice and I paid it. A day later it was shipped out and the next morning my bike arrived. The turn around was shockingly fast. Something did go wrong though. A helmet I ordered was damaged in shipment AND THEY SAID "KEEP IT, WE'LL GET ANOTHER ONE SENT OUT!!" I'm floored with the easy purchase, no hassle pricing, and especially the customer service. I don't think I'll ever buy a bike from another shop. The 5 star rating they have with hundreds of reviews isn't bullshit and is well earned. Much love to the ownership and team hear. Truly a top tier shop.

I initially went to REI feeling completely lost and unsure of what I needed. After walking around for about 10 minutes without being acknowledged, I decided to leave and I'm glad I did because I found this shop instead. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away. Zabi took the time to look over my bike and made helpful recommendations on what I needed to get it road-ready again. At no point did I feel pressured into buying anything. Instead, he made sure I felt comfortable and understood my options. The customer service was outstanding, not only from him but from everyone else in the shop as well. Even if larger corporate stores are running sales, I would much rather drive here and support a business where customers are genuinely welcomed and cared for. Overall, this is an excellent shop with knowledgeable staff, great customer service, and a team that truly cares about its customers.

With our son being baptized last weekend, followed by 'real talk' with your medical specialist about the consequences of poor decisions, buffets and late nights all catching up after years of sedentary lifestyle, something needed to change. So I got a bike. The last time I used a bike regularly was in the 80's where my Tuffy took me miles away from home. And the desperate race to get home before dark and my father's whupping. I did my usual research, comparing and investigating different brands, different styles of bikes and their uses. I already had my heart set on a cyclocross or gravel bike. My buddy Gruber had a Surly that he rode 22 miles both ways to work in the dead of a Chicago winter from our apartment downtown. That sold me on the practical use of a bike that could take it under adverse conditions. I had actually looked for the right bike since. But I couldn't part ways with $3-5k on a Specialized or Trek. That was an expense I usually spared for firearms - truth talk. After my doctors appointment I made a call to the one closest to home. Giant on Blue Diamond. Spoke with Hanna and told her what I was looking for. She mentioned a couple of different models that fit the bill but what caught my attention was that one model was nearly $550 off the full price but it was the last model on the show floor. I gave it 2 weeks. And then 2 nights in a row I wake up with GI pain that kept me awake all night. I swung to the store when they opened and Pat and Hanna showed me some really cool features - 1. It was my size, 2. The tires were tubeless so there was no need to fill the tires with air - better for running over pointy things and keep on rolling, and 3. A brake system based on hydraulics. I was out of excuses. I bought it before anyone else could snap it up. Pat adjusted everything and Hanna shaved some of the seat stem after measuring - while cautioning me on the expectations and finer points of bicycling. Bottom line, I highly recommend! They're knowledgeable without being pretentious. Informative without being pushy or upselling at every opportunity. Both of them advising to spend on higher end items until I was properly broken in. Go here and ask for Pat and Hanna!

From the second I walked in, the team made me feel completely welcome -- no ego, no judgment, just genuine help. They didn't just fix my tire, they actually helped me understand the sport a little better. That meant a lot. When you're a beginner, that kind of patience and education builds confidence. Hannah especially was incredible -- her speed changing my tire was unreal. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Efficient, professional, and still super kind the entire time. What really stood out to me is that I don't even ride a Giant bike (yet), and they still treated me like I was family. That says everything about the culture of this shop. Because of how well I was treated, my next bike will absolutely be a Giant -- and I'll be coming here for life. Highly recommend.
