I went riding with my son on a particular weekend, where the Las Vegas strip was only filled with "bike riders", mostly groups of families and friends. This was a fun night! Especially since we have been home for over 2 months, due to social distancing. I thought to rent bikes, and going for a ride might be just what we need, to bring our morale up! I was so excited to start our tour (even though we are locals) that I didn't really read the instructions well enough. Because of my mistake, I was charged for late fees and going over the allowed time. I contact their customer service eminently, in regards, and they were nothing but helpful and understanding with me. They ended up refunding me the whole amount charged, even though it was my fault for these charges. Personally, I think their personnel exceeded with their customer service, they were nothing but understanding, especially in these hard times we are all facing together as a nation. I want to recommend their services to anybody out there, that is trying to experience something new or just to fall in love with bike riding again. Please go check them out, it would most definitely be a memorable night/day you will have with your family and friends.

AMAZING bike shop. Doesn't have a large selection of bicycles but there is bare necessities. John is classic and extremely knowledgeable about bikes and bike repair. He doesn't mess around. The downtown biker masters told my man about this place. Best kept secret bicycle shop in Vegas. If you're in the market for a used bike or want to sell your bike on consignment this is a great place to go. Or just pick up a fixie for $300.

Just one of the rows of bikes; a set of lockers (avail. to members); & an electric bike awaiting valet (avail. to all).

Where to start? Pros: - John is the man. He will even teach you how to inflate your tires! (Tell him I sent you.) - There are bikes, clean showers, lockers and restroom facilities exclusive for members (I cannot recall how much membership was, but it was not expensive), air pumps, now only one remaining chair, and if you have to park your bike outside: roving armed guards who seemingly deter theft enough so one's vehicle is still there upon return. YMMV. (Lock your fucking bike up correctly [that includes the saddle, yo.]) - New!: There is a bike stand outside. It even has tools (if any of you steal them ....) Cons: - Those same armed guards may entirely too trigger-happy so you may end up being collateral damage if you resemble a zombie or are talking to one when they are put down. - Only open from 7AM to 7PM (although, parking outside is open twenty-four hours, obviously). Neither Pro nor Con: - So-called Zombie Apocalypse taking place outside. Some days they are ultimately entertaining, on others they want to make you just cry . Do not ride your bike within the curtilage of the BTC. There is an N.R.S. for that and I have heard -- although never actually witnessed -- guards are quick to get on you about it. Never experienced it myself, I prefer to strut about while steering my bike by the head. Yeah, I am cool like that. The bike centre membership gets you discounts on all repairs and I think it even gets you complimentary tune-ups. Not sure about that: go and ask. I know for sure that it allows you to lock your shit up in a locker while you go out looking like a Modern Man walking in DLV. Wear your helmet. - E

A local bike shop that operates out of the RTC Bonnavile transit hub. I've bought a bike here and have had various repairs/upgrades done. The staff is friendly , knowledgable and don't try to upsell you. As a matter of fact , the staff is always open to engage in bike talk regardless of what you ride. This particular shop also have a bathroom with showers that is available to members for a very minimal fee. The parent shop of this place is Las Vegas Cyclery. This shop doesn't have as many accessories as a full blown shop but they have all the essentials. Repair costs are affordable. I come back because the people are very chill and down to earth. -John is the man. Knows his stuff when it comes to bikes. Always tells you the truth and is very knowledgeable.

Today Mayor Goodman encouraged journalists and developers to take a bus tour outside of City Hall to feature the Downtown's Momentum. Afterward my photographer and I met at the Bonneville Transit Center for a story on your Bike Center. They were great. Very encouraging. I wish more people knew that the RTC has a bike shop like yours for quick fixes while biking around Las Vegas.

The cell service in town was spotty and then non existent at the drop off point so I didn't have the maps loaded. Then the trail makers were mostly gone, so I had to take guesses on some of the trails back. There's no phone service, so you have to download the maps to your phone! But the first trail was a great single track descent through the desert hills and cactus. I had a quick stop at the bottom for photos and then on to Cactus Slalom trail, bobbed and weaved through that and then took a right at Hurl and then couldn't find the correct trail back and almost missed my pick up time. That's mostly on me for not having maps to ride in the desert when it's 95 degrees. If you can, go early. The sun can be relentless and there's NO shade. Take more water than you think you need. The bike held up great and ate up the terrain with zero complaints. A great match for the trails. The scenery is astounding and unique. The pick up and drop of is amazingly easy and convenient! So glad i chose them and would happily do it again.

And then stopped at a gas station after the trip just to get us cold gatorades. We did cottonwood - Latenight trailhead. About 3 hours, barely difficult if you're out of shape but super fun otherwise! Highly recommend for something active with great views and a unique experience.

I brought the bike to this shop expecting experienced service and a proper diagnosis, but unfortunately the issues were never resolved. After repairs were performed, the bike continued to have problems, including issues with the motor. Communication was poor, and I often felt I was not receiving clear information about the repairs, costs, or warranty options. I paid for labor and repairs, yet my bike was still not operating correctly. Because I lost confidence in the quality of the work, I took the bike to another company that specializes exclusively in E-bikes and has extensive experience working on these systems. Their technicians thoroughly inspected the bike, identified the problems, and are now making the necessary repairs. Most frustrating of all, the warranty that I was concerned about from the beginning is now covering the repairs through the new service provider. Had the warranty process been properly addressed earlier, it could have saved a great deal of time, frustration, and expense. As a customer, I expected expertise, transparency, and a working bike when the repairs were completed. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

I can't wake up so early OR I have too many plans for the evening: They offer two time slots, 9AM and 1PM. We did the 9AM tour and were the slowest participants (stopped at every designated stop to take pictures and videos). We still completed the tour in 2.5 - 3 miles 2. I'm a light packer so there's no way I can bring supplies for something like this: This company provided the bikes, helmets, jackets, neck warmers, gloves, backpack, water, and granola bar. We brought our own sunglasses, and there is an $8/person park entry fee that we covered. I saw online that they may offer sunblock, but that's probably for the summer participants. 3. I'm too out of shape: Guys, these are electric bicycles on a well-paved route. This isn't the Tour de France here. And you can take lots of breaks, like we did. I actually didn't use the e-assist that much, but my partner did to get up the inclines. 4. Isn't something like this super-expensive?: Our goal was to ride through Red Rock Canyon, and this experience combined ebike rental with a lot of guidance and support (they said we could call them if we got lost, popped a tire, etc., and they would come to us). I had looked into pure ebike rentals and they were all ~ $100-175 to rent for 4 hours, plus additional fees for insurance and security deposit. And no support! So no excuses! This was a fun and unique experience that everyone should experience at least once. And EZ Ride provided such a streamlined and supported experience. 100% would recommend

However, the situation took a big turn when I asked them if they would be willing to help sell one of the bikes, since I wasn't able to ride it anymore. While I appreciate their willingness and help with this, I can't believe the owners actions. After a few weeks, I received a text on Saturday close to 5PM from Carlos stating he hadn't found any buyers and I could come pick-up my bike since he's closing down the business. The following day around 12PM on Sunday, I was shocked to receive another message threatening that if I didn't respond within 30 minutes, he would keep my bike and consider it left behind. This was particularly outrageous as I was traveling for work over the weekend and unable to reply actively and saw his second message luckily right when he sent it. It's unreasonable to expect someone to respond in such a tight timeframe, especially when weekends don't count as business or work days. There was no mention what the last day to pickup would be. When I visited the shop today to pickup the bike I wanted to discuss this with Carlos, and only asked him one question if he can explain his text message to me. He was defensive and refused to engage in a normal adult conversation, and wouldn't hear me out. Instead of addressing his inappropriate behavior or letting me talk, he talked over me and ultimately told me to leave. He must have been embarrassed to have his two employees or friends that were in the shop hear what happened and tried to keep me from talking. It's astonishing for a business to threaten to keep a customer's property if you don't reply in an unrealistic 30-minute window. This experience has left me disappointed knowing that Carlos will treat others this way in the future and I cannot endorse this establishment or any future shop that Carlos will be running. If you're considering doing business with Carlos, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.
