I was told Try boot my friend had ask the doctor. What about a Cortizone shot he said I can try it. It worked wonders until I fell amazing till I fell at the images for an x-ray no MRI no CAT scan. I asked if insurance covered was told no my insurance Company said it said my girlfriend suggested maybe a He said I can try it end up working amazing which was done by Dr. Loewy three days before I fell my foot was absolutely fine then I fell into a pothole went back to Dr Loewy you have some tears just that you need surgery. Nothing was mentioned of any bone fusions that I can remember. I went had surgery. It's 2024 we're now 2026. My surgery was a non-Union, which means that the screws put in to fuse the bones failed. There's no fusion the screws. Both 4 inches are in there doing God only knows what problem is not many doctors that I've seen don't wanna touch it so I turn 61 a few months and this is what I'm stuck with i'm not here to say anything badly about anyone. I'm here. Just to tell people if you told you need surgery, I don't care how good the doctors ratings reviews are. I wish I had gotten several more opinions now I have to go back in. Have it fixed if I can find a job to do it, I'm praying to God there's hope I've been told bone grafts maybe necessary so much work from looking at RECENT MRI And CT scan Several Drs told me your foot of course will Never be the same all I want is to walk without pain that literally takes your breath away and pain doesn't get so bad I passed out Thankfully I wasn't alone I have not heard from the Dr only when.I called to inform his department that it was non union I was asked do you want to come in see Dr Loewy my Response absolutely Not my life's still on hold I'm not even old to get into a relationship I'm just to Embarrassed the Pain being the first second the way it looks only thing I'm happy with is the scars but I used cream daily and I was Released from Florida orthopedic Institute PHYSICAL THERAPY on Boyette as I was told we cannot continue to work with you. Things are not getting better for getting worse please see a second opinion we have to protect our license they must be affiliated. They have the same name and they stopped my PHYSICAL THERAPY a long time ago but there a certain period you have to wait for insurance purposes. It's 13 months but when I saw one doctor and he told me if it's not start to show fusing months ago, it's not gonna fuse in five days. I asked you do this type of procedure. His response was I would not feel comfortable doing this procedure on you I got that from two separate doctors hopefully the next surgeon I see they will have a different opinion just please please get several opinions. Write down everything that said in that office between you and the doctor because this surgery did a lot more than the picture show and I'm left to fight this battle hopefully quickly and such a long recovery emotionally depressed me because I went through it the entire holiday season severe depression. I didn't want to see anybody I usually spend Christmas Eve with my granddaughter, to watch her open her gifts the next day, I missed out on that because I didn't want to ruin their day them seeing me in so much pain in the cast so every holiday Thanksgiving Christmas New Year's I was alone no one should never have to go through this. I pray surgeons and says I can fix it. That would be the best gift I could receive.

One doctor said I had nerve damage, and another doctor said I was having seizures. I went from one doctor to another who just put me on one drug after another. I spent my days in pain and drugged up and loopy. After much recommendation and insistence from friends who used him, I took myself to Dr Polley, who ordered a full battery of tests on me. I was really not excited about his aggressive regimen of coming in at least twice a week, with it slowly weaning down to once a week or once every other week in order to deal with my neck pain. It's hard and difficult to commit to a regimen like that when a pill might solve anything. I committed to his regimen and after 6 months, I was a new person. The pills went into the trash, and my neck felt better than ever. Being in pain is so frustrating, and finding answer to your medical problems is priceless! Dr Polley is an amazing doctor with a phenomenal bedside manner. He staffs his office with people who are just as caring as he is. Simply put, your health is important and means something to them. In this day and age, that's a rarity!

Last year I started having back pain that was radiating down my thigh and was impacting my ability to move around. They recommended Dr Coulter try active release therapy (ART) on my lower back. I was at the point of getting surgery but decided to come here first to see if maybe getting adjustments/alignments could help me. Dr. Mark was my initial chiropractor and he was very caring, thoughtful, and informative about what he's doing, where he's adjusting, and the process of the what he thought was the best treatment. He recommended Dr. Thomas! Dr. Thomas is also a chiropractor however he specializes in muscle tissue breakdown - longer story even short, Dr. Thomas has relieved damn near all the pain and inflammation I had/felt in my legs and feet. I went from this being my last resort and going to surgery to visiting Dr. Thomas every so often or when I feel my legs starting to get tense on me. The pain that I had compared to where I'm at now is night and day. I went from having to always have shoes on even to walk around my house to being comfortable in sandals and flip flops for HOURS without ANY pains in the slightest. I'm very grateful to have found this practice and the amazing individuals who work here as well. The entire staff is very friendly, engaging, and they certainly make you feel like you're important.

I have chronic pain, arm numbness, weakness from cervical stenosis. My neurosurgeon said I would need surgery based on my most recent MRI but he wanted to send me to try 6 weeks of Physical Therapy first before scheduling surgery. Select PT is who my surgeon recommended, I chose the Oakfield location because it was close to my work and home. I was initially pessimestic and not expecting much benefit from physical therapy because it didn't make sense to me why this would help with cervical stenosis. Well, it did help and has been helping...a lot! After 1st week, I noticed less neck muscle tightness and pain, after 2nd week I notice improved flexibilty, after 3rd week, I am noticing less numbness. I work with Josh, he is simply fantastic! I go once a week, spend about 1 hour each time, he has me do different stretches and exercises, and makes sure I do them in correct form and timing. I also do home exercises daily. At this point I'm not sure if I will really need surgery. Also I'm not sure what's up with all the other bad reviews about payment issues. My insurance has high deductible which I have not reached so PT is not yet covered. I'm still paying out of pocket each session, for me its $75 per session. They have been upfront and honest with me about this from the time I called to make the appointment. They looked up my insurance and told me what the cost would be each time. There's been no surprises. I do not feel ripped off. I have no issues about pricing or payments. I consider the price of service they provide a very small price for the benefit to my health and well being I am receiving. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for PT services. If you are not sure if PT will help, I say try it anyways! You might be pleasantly surprised how helpful it can be

That should have been the first sign, there shouldn't be a range a treatment is a treatment is a treatment. I already know how much my insurance covers. I paid the typical co-pay and had my first visit, which was fine. My second visit the PT was treating me and another woman at the same time. I was having to wait around while she was working on the other woman. Kicker is they charge the same price whether you have the PT to yourself or not! In a law practice this is called double billing and you can lose your bar license over it! Now I am not a lawyer but this is ethically wrong!
