Another wonderful annual visit with Dr. Stemp. Thanks to her patient staff for handling children- and their cranky parents (not me of course LOL)- with compassion, and always efficiently getting us in and out of the office quickly and on time. Dr. Stemp once again took her time to listen to my complete list of worries I had for each of my children, going over each growth chart with me, and still connecting warmly with each of my kids- who would have loved nothing better than to chat all day with her - during a busy afternoon after school. This location is in a great spot, with plenty of overflow parking at La Cigale, and a clean and bright waiting room. So many awesome spots to stop at afterwards for a 'sorry for that shot' treat for my kids and 'please calm my nerves' tea for this mom. Thank you! read more

Poor and incomplete assessments, incorrect diagnosis, prolonged treatment causing further illness, missed school. No continuity between practitioners. Their incompetence lead to an ER where the doctor stated it was not an ER case and could have been handled by a pediatrician. So 4 weeks with a poor sick child, numerous office visits, and an ER visit ($800 in co-pays later) the ER prescribed a 5 day course of antibiotics that had her better in 3 days. read more

i called on saturday morning at 7:30 AM and before i could leave a message doctor bradford called me back. he saw my daughter by 9:15 the same day. we are extremely pleased with the care we received and his availability at the last minute to see my sick child. we appreciate the people who work in this office and the quality of care we have gotten with each visit. we are proud and happy to have dr bradford as our pediatrician. read more

We absolutely love all the doctors here. This is a small, but efficient location that is close to our home. The doctors and staff are fantastic! Dr.Chambers is great, always smiling, patient and thorough. The office is very kid friendly, going with the sea theme. I've been going with DR. Bradford for 1 year. He is great. Always answering my questions. he gave us his cellphone number in case of emergencies, I called him a couple of times for emergency questions and he responded in a good amount of time. But I give 3 stars....The staff girls are very rude. They are no very helpful. Every time I talk on the phone with one of them they just don't answer my questions and it's like if they are always in a rush. Sometimes I have to wait a long time even if I have an appointment. once they call my daughter's name I still have to wait in the room. read more

We began going to Pediatrics By The Sea with our newborn son 2 months ago. Dr. Stemp has been wonderful. However, during our office visits we have been greeted with construction noises and debris falling into our exam room while the dr was examining our then 10 day old son. Our latest visit today had us walking into a practice where the entire office was being painted and the patients and staff were exposed to the toxic fumes. I had an intense headache within a few minutes of being in the waiting room. Once we were seen by our dr. In the exam room the fumes got only more intense. Paint fumes also greeted me at a visit 3 weeks ago. We expressed our concern to the staff and they said nothing could be done. Dr. Bradley Bradford (owner) called us, but was completely unapologetic offering nothing but excuses for the issues that we brought up. Clearly this is not appropriate business practice, but is this even legal? There certainly is no adequate ventilation for the patients, some as young as 4 days old, much less staff who have to work in these conditions! read more

Worst experience ever. With a 4 day old baby they made us wait in the waiting room then finally brought us back to our own room where we waited some more for the nurse to come in. We were there for over an hour and a half WITH AN EMPTY OFFICE. Our son was waiting to get a blood test by the nurse for over 15 minutes and when I went to see where she was I saw 3 staff members on their phones and nobody even looked up from their phone when I inquired how much longer it would take. The doctors were nice but the rest of the staff was so unprofessional it set the tone for the whole office. I was so disappointed as this office is much more convenient than our last pediatrician but I will most definitely be making a 30 minute drive after this experience. read more

We never got to see the doctor, but our experience with the front desk staff in person and over the phone was not a positive experience. I scheduled an appointment a month in advance and verified they accept our insurance over the phone. I arrive for the appointment and I have to ask them for the new patient paperwork. Then after filling out the paperwork I'm told they do not accept our insurance. I call my insurance company and they say it is in network, so I call the office again to discuss. I was spoken to in a rude manner and was not helped at all. I'm disappointed that a pediatrics practice handles families this way. I will not recommend this practice to anyone. read more

I am amazed that the rating here is less than stellar. I love the doctors at Pediatrics by the Sea. Our favorite is Dr. Chambers. The only drawback here is the rooms are tiny and parking is limited in the main parking lot. They have extended hours late week nights and on weekends to help you with scheduling. Wait times can be a little long at times. Only pediatrician I've taken my children to that actually run tests, keep accurate records and do their job. A lot of people get sucked into going to pediatric associates which is a terrible place-more like a pediatric dr mill never seeing the same dr. This is a family practice independently owned and operated - they actually care - you know like old school doctors. They never guess a diagnosis always test and are very thorough. Would recommend to anyone. Very surprised that other reviews posted are based so much on the aesthetics of the rooms and not the actual care given to the child. I swear other pediatric offices barely read my children's names, gave them antibiotics and left. So yes I will wait 30 minutes for an excellent doctor to thoroughly examine my child-after all, I cannot replace them. read more

This is the worst pediatricians office. No matter what time of day or night we go there it always takes three hours from start to finish. They have tiny little dirty rooms that are uncomfortable and hot to wait in and they leave you there for hours with young children who don't have patience and are bouncing off the walls. With one doctor on call they will book 4 to 6 patients in every 15 minute time slot. They got rid of the good office manager and brought in Dr. Bradford's daughter Marissa who seems to be uneducated and never does anything correctly. She is not friendly and incompetent. My son who is in speech therapy for three years who needed to get referrals renewed had a lapse in Speech for two months because she couldn't renew the correct codes and started the renewal days after it needed to be done. All I got was excuses and never an apology. It took me two weeks of calling the hospital where the speech therapy occurs and the doctors office and the insurance company to get it straightened out. I also asked them to write me a letter for the court showing that my children's health is in imminent danger living in a house that's 90° with mold. My child has severe asthma and allergies and they don't deem that unsafe and refuse to write the letter for me. Find a more Efficient, caring, competent doctors office where you don't have to spend a half a day at every time you need to go in. read more

First off, as a business owner myself I am not one to leave a bad review anywhere but let me tell you the lack of common sense anyone at this office has. I had to bring my daughter to this office during covid because of a change of insurance. The office staff was completely rude, the doctor was that we saw was really nice but it looked like they just threw a medical chair into an office that was cluttered. I knew I would not be going back after that. Since then I have switched back to my regular pediatrician and had to call 6 times to try and get my daughters vaccine records and every time someone said they were going to send them they never did. I understand offices get busy but to be completely rude when someone is calling and asking for their own information is unacceptable. I was at my daughters current pediatrician with the pediatrician in the room and the pediatrician asked if the office would just upload the shot records to the state and they said they could not and my pediatrician was appalled at how they refused to do their job due to pure laziness. I have been going to Dr. Bradforn since before he expanded and made his practice with a "puppymil" mentality...about 5 years, but NO MORE!. He got a bunch of rooms now that you can barely walk into. My closets in my apt are bigger than his exam rooms! The place is not clean, and staff is horrible. His nurses walk around like they hate their lives and just going through the motions. I took my son in for a physical and this is what happens: Nurse weighed him and took his height, checked his eye sight and ear test (of which he missed 2 of the 8 sounds, yet she recorded as if he got 100%). She took his blood pressure and left. We waited for a doctor for over an hour to come in and would have waited longer if i wasn't about ready to walk out. Doc comes in and doesn't even apologize for being late or anything. He asks 3-4 questions, checks his spine without even lifting his shirt and that is it! He was in the room for MAYBE 5 minutes and thats only cause i had some additional questions. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! He did not follow protocol for conducting physicals and he just cares about seeing as many patients as possible and not giving a shit about any of them. read more

Save your time and money all they care about is making their money a while back we called and told them that our daughter had a small bead up her nose and they told us to bring her in so we drive to the office and we wait about an hour then they take us back to the room and make us wait another 30 min finally Dr.Bradford come in and tells us yea I can't get that out I don't have the tool for it and still sent us a bill. I was annoyed they could've told us this on the phone but instead they told us to come in I had to drive to the hospital to get it out and it all took 5 min. Second time I got my girls tested one had symptoms the other one didn't according to them the one with out symptoms tested positive but the one that had all the symptoms tested negative I have a felling that they mixed up the test. When I called they said it's impossible to mix them up anyways I called to retest them and they told me to be there at 1:30 they never told me at a different office so I went to the one where they had gotten tested the first time so we were there at 1 they told me the Nurse didn't get back from lunch till 1:30 so I said it's okay I'll wait at 1:35 I called again they said the doctor would be outside in a bit at 1:40 they called to ask what car I had I have them the information and they said dr would be outside in a couple of minutes at 2:07 they call me to tell me that I was on the wrong office how was I supposed to know no one told me no one confirm with me so I had to drive to the right location and waited another 30 more min with two toddlers in the car it's unfair for them to do this please save your time and go somewhere else read more

I've been bringing my daughters to Dr. Bradford for 10years. He even came to the hospital the day they were born to check up on them. I been coming to him even before he expanded and of course a lot has changed in his office and has incorporated new staff and other locations. The facility isn't the best of the best the rooms are small and the wait time seems to take longer. But his a wonderful dr and several other Drs that work with him are great as well. His the only dr I know that I can call at all times of hrs if I have any concerns and personally take the call and advice me what to do. Overall he knows what his doing and always takes the proper procedures to get to the root of the problem. read more

I have been going to this doctor office for many years and had no issues with the doctors but the girl at the front desk is so freaking rude and horrible. I've ran into rude people in my life but she took the cake. For many years I let her slide with her rudeness but yesterday she pissed me off. She hung up the phone on me twice, and automatically transferred me to the jog location without telling me to hold on or that she was transferring me. I called to schedule for the east office and not the jog because they have late hours. This girl work at the front desk with a nasty attitude and have bad customer service. I spoke to several people who goes to this office stated the same thing about this girl. Unbelievable! I will be leaving that office because she is horrible. My son has been coming to Pediatrics by the Sea for over 13 years and we have never had a bad experience. All of the doctors are good with good bedside manner. Dr. Bradford is an excellent doctor and is always available even in the middle of the night. The other reviews are surprising. There used to be toys and books but too many bad germs are spread. Also, parents who don't watch their children allow them to get hurt. When we started Dr Bradford was alone in this office. It has been great watching the growth. We were seeing Dr. Meles but she moved out west so now we see Dr. Berger and we LOVE her. My daughter almost never cries now at the doctor's office - Dr. B just has a great way with kids. She's really upbeat and sweet. Our last visit was a sick visit and she really gave us great advice for treatment that didn't involve antibiotics, so I was really happy about that. The wait time is usually no more than 30 minutes, which I don't think is too bad for a pediatric office (our previous ped was usually at LEAST an hour but sometimes as much as two hours behind!). We have been coming here for a few months and I have to say that the staff here seems to be the most unenthusiastic bunch I've ever come across. When you enter you are never greeted until you initiate conversation. The wait is obnoxious as they make you reserve a time, only to keep you waiting over ten-twenty minutes just in the waiting room where booty shaking music is not just blaring, but crazy loud!!! Then of course you are ushered into the room to wait more!!! This place has been under construction the whole time we've been coming and while I like the doctors, the staff need to be trained better to connect with the patients rather than have their little window to stare out of while you wonder what makes this place sought after... Location is the answer, but I'm not sure we will be coming much longer if my appts set for 5 turn into not seeing the doctor until after 545!!! I will update this after speaking with dr. We have been going there for three years but I think we're done! I got there 10 minutes early for my grandson's appointment. No one else in the waiting room so I thought that, at least this time I won't have to wait for an hour. Wrong! We were put in a room and a very unfriendly medical assistant did some basics (height, weight, etc) then, as usual, waited more than an hour in a tiny room with a toddler until the doctor finally came in. I have no doubt that the doctors are competent but the customer service in this office is horrible. Clearly, the medical assistants are not taught any customer service skills, how to deal with young children, etc. The one we had was downright rude. the waits are horrible and that tells me that they don't care about a busy mothers time or the children's anxiety while waiting so long. The other thing that I always notice is that the trash cans and needle holders are full or overflowing while I watch the medical assistants sit in an office playing with their phones. Who supervises these people? Time to look for another pediatrician. I've had enough. read more

Been three times now, the wait is always loooong. Waited over an hour the last two times we went. The place is FILTHY! First time we went in the waiting room was covered in smashed cookies as well as bloody gauze. I let the front desk person know and she kind of blew me off and then I said "well there is BLOODY gauze on the floor too" and she came out about 5 mins later and picked it up with a rubber glove on, how about a Clorox wipe or something?!? The second time we went we waited two hours in the tiniest room I have ever been in. With two small kids, myself and the doctor I was on the verge of a panic attack. This office is a joke. This last time I went (this morning) I had the first appointment of the day. I was hoping that I would avoid the wait by arriving first thing in the morning before they had a chance to fall behind, but nope! I was put in a room slightly larger than the last two and there we waited about 30 mins to see the doctor who came in and within 5 mins jetted out of the room- I thought someone was having a medical emergency the way he ran out. He came back after 5 mins and continued on as if nothing happened and then again ran out when I was in mid sentence. At this point I'm wondering what is going on. In the background (it's an old house so the walls are very thin) can hear that he has a judge on speaker phone and he is answering the judges questions concerning a presumed patient of his. After about 10 mins he comes back to our room and acts again like nothing has happened. I feel that if this doctor needed to be on the phone for a legal situation his schedule should have been cleared. I'd rather be at home with a sick child than in their disgusting office. The trash can in our room was filled to the top with rubber gloves and whatever must have been leftover from the previous day. The floor was covered in dust, hair, bits of paper and a top off a syringe. The place is disgusting, disorganized and the doctor is aloof. Go else where if you care about your time & sanity. read more

LISTEN!!!! This office has been at that location for a while. As you can tell to accommodate their patients they had to expand. So, if it means to have 2x2 (Lying) room, so be it! Dr. Bradford has a GREAT team of doctors and staff!!! That is the MAIN reason why I go to that office and every parent reason should be the same. My son has been going to this office since he was 2 months old, before that my son had Dr. Sangita Walia AKA Doctor from hell. So I know the difference between GREAT doctors and not so good doctors. Dr. Berger has been my sons doctor and she is GREAT! She gives you step by step guide on your child's developments. As a 1st time mother, a lot of my son's actions she helps me understand and are put into terms that make sense to me. No matter what the issue is; the office makes sure that you come in and be seen. If Dr. Berger is off for the day. I either have Dr. Bradford or someone else to see my son. Unlike others you wait for another day. I see the comment about there waiting area. IT'S A PEDIATIC OFFICE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! Really cookie crumbs. Plus, the girls up front are constantly busy and don't mind getting up. So, if you see something in the waiting area help them out or inform them; you would have thought this was an OBGYN office. Makes me think that the person writing is the one who has the issue. One comment the person stated they went in the morning. I can tell she was making false accusations because being the first person their office, your butt doesn't hit any waiting area chair; plus if you were in the bigger room; that is the original rooms so the walls are NOT paper thin; you my dear must have been in the hallway listening. You can tell you where upset with something else besides the office. (Sorry I had to defend them) SO, what office do you know that would do an Authorization in 10 minutes!!! NO ONE! Marticia (Sorry if its not correct) was with me every step of the way with me when my son had his surgeries, x-rays and specialist visits. It's to the point the ladies at St Nicholas Hospital was amazed on how quickly she did the authorization. Never had an issue getting something signed and faxed back or getting records sent. So PLEASE do me a favor PARENTS stop choosing an office by their looks based it off the staff and doctors. They even have a new Jog Road office but I rather the office off federal. Just the worst. I had to transfer to Pediatrics by the Sea because my insurance changed and even though they are conveniently located, I am moving to a different pediatrician further away because I cannot use this doctor any longer. I understand that doctors can get behind but here the wait times are ridiculous. Several times I have had to wait almost an hour in the exam room after first waiting in the waiting room before a doctor showed up - even when I had one of the first appointments in the morning. Imagine waiting that long with an active toddler and trying to keep them from completely destroying the exam room. By the time the doctor arrives the toddler is at the end of his tether and what would have otherwise been a fine exam becomes torture. When you finally DO see a doctor, the exams are perfunctory and rushed. They just read off a list of questions and hardly seem to even listen to the answers. I don't think the doctor my child sees even LIKES children. She doesn't seem to. And if you need a referral? Oh my god - they're the WORST. Twice I've had appointments cancelled while in a specialist's waiting room because the Pediatrics by the Sea staff member screwed up the referral. And when you call in to tell them they need to redo it (so your child can see the specialist Pediatrics by the Sea said they needed to see), the office staff gets huffy and defensive. Horrible.
