We LOVE LOVE LOVE Pediatrics in Brevard! Dr. Pena is our main doctor and we love her. She has fabulous bedside manner and she is very personable! We have also seen other pediatricians and like them as well. The nursing staff is wonderful and we couldn't feel luckier to have such a great place to take our kids! Peds in Brevard offer hours that suit all work schedules, school schedules and they also offer weekend hours. They also have a morning sick clinic (8-9) where you can bring in your sick child without an appointment. The yelp reviews do not do them justice. I'm telling you, this place is 5 out 5! We had an unfortunate experience with our first child/son. As first time parents we thought we were putting him in good hands however they performed his circumcision and it is completely botched and disfigured for life. He is now 2 years old and we recently had another son who our current pediatrician recommended we take to Nemours for his circumcision. It was a pleasantly different and better experience. I do not recommend this practice and especially not for circumcision!! Beware!! read more

I love this place. Best care for my daughter. Pediatrician: Dr. Haille Hardison Olsen is exceptional. I always have a plethora of questions and she has always taken the time to address each of them both in person and through the portal. She has even called me to follow up on my daughter's health plus she has seen us last minute when we had a concern. Honestly I wholeheartedly feel confident in my daughter's care with Dr. Hardison. I highly recommend Dr Ulrich at Pediatrics in Brevard at the Melbourne office. We have been seeing her since my youngest daughter was misdiagnosed as an infant at another pediatricians office by his PA, and we ended up in the ER with pneumonia. Dr. Ulrich is extremely knowledgeable and encourages, but never makes you feel like you're being forced to make decisions. We've also seen their nurse practitioners, and they are fabulous. I always get a same day appointment when needed, and I always get my sports forms filled out the same day during our annual visit. Plus, she is quick to respond to the patient portal with lots of information. My 17 & 13 year old would highly agree that they trust Dr Ulrich! read more

Try to get a 5 minute appointment on the weekend for a child in pain and you'll end up being told a nurse will call you back or put on hold indefinitely until you give up waiting. This was for the Melbourne office since the others were closed. They said they were full and couldn't see one more patient for their typical less than 5 minute exam. Give me a break. read more

We have been taking our daughter here since birth. We have always paid every bill with no problem. After the last visit we were sent due bill in the mail. Not sure why we got the bill, but we forgot to send the payment. Although it was our error for not making the payment, my wife assumed we would just pay it at the next visit in 2 weeks. But a collection bill was sent and the next appointment was canceled. My wife called to pay and was told the next appointment would not be rescheduled until after payment was made and was told to call back later after payment. The person on the phone was pretty rude about the whole thing. The bad attitude and dismissive nature of the rep highlighted many other issues we ignored due to the convenient close proximity of the office. Incredibly long waits and a general cold demeaner of much of the staff was always a problem. But after this pretty insulting behavior we are dropping Pediatrics in Brevard. Based on other reviews I think we waited too long. read more

AVOID THIS PEDIATRIC GROUP AT ALL COST............ On May 24 2022 I had a follow up appt for my 7 year old son, with Dr Leiba, for left ear pain, after being diagnosed with the FLU type A ON the 22nd . I informed Dr Leiba of my sons medical hx, provided the urgent care paperwork to his office staff and informed him that my son was put on a 7 day coarse of cefdinir for the URI 2 weeks prior. The MD proceeded to prescribe a PO antibiotic for a double ear infection. Unbeknown to me, Dr. Leiba mistakingly prescribed the same antibiotic my son had previously been on. Upon being made aware of his mistake at the pharmacy, I immediately called the MD office and asked the receptionist- Alyson to please relay the message to the MD. I waited about an hour at the pharmacy for the corrected prescription without a callback. When I called the MD office again I was told that Dr. Leiba was in rotation with other patients and would return my call by the end of the day. I explained to the receptionist my sons pain level and multiple urgent care visits due to lack of MD call back with absolutely no resolve or compassionate response. I then drove to the Brevard Pediatrics to speak to them in person where I was again told by Alyson at the front desk, that Dr. Leiba was in with other patients and he would call me when he completed his rotation. I tried to re emphasize that this was his mistake and has a very quick fix and I begged for the receptionist to help me. The response was the same. At this point I requested my sons medical records and I took him to urgent care for the 3rd time where he was prescribed a different antibiotic. At the end of the day I received a call from Dr. Leiba who proceeded to blame me for his mistake. He accused me of not informing him of my sons previous urgent care visits and antibiotic coarse...... which is absolutely not true. The moral of the story is .....TRY TO AVOID PEDIATRICS OF BREVARD AT ALL COST...they treat children like numbered cattle not like actual human beings. They are in the business of treating a high number of patients rather than actually giving you quality compassionate care that your child deserves. I had seen previous reviews such as the one that I am writing when looking for an MD, I should have heeded the warnings and I didn't. I hope you do. read more

I've been in the Emergency Medical Services field my whole life and interacted with Nursing staff, hospitals, and many other different types of medical facilities. Additionally, my wife and I had the best healthcare you can afford back in Los Angeles County, California. I have never experienced or worked anywhere that has the kind of care that Pediatrics In Brevard gives. In Southern California, when you see a doctor they put your complaints and issues into a computer and wait for the computer to tell them whats wrong with you. I'm not kidding or exacterating. My son clearly had an ear infection that our Doctor insisted was something else. It took me 15 minutes to convince him to actually assess his ear. When she did, she agreed and changed all her previous recommendations. However, here Dr Pena (amazing btw), she sat down and listened to us. She talked with us and on our level. Ive never personally spent more time with a Doctor than she has with my 2 boys. You will find something wrong with everywhere you go, but Pediatrics In Brevard will take care of your kids at the highest level. Im fine with dealing with minor issues (not that I ran into any) if my kid gets treated with the best. Thats my personal and professional opinion. read more

Unfortunately we cannot use the services at any of the Pediatrics of Brevard because they refuse to see my children. Simply because of our standing on vaccines (we vaccinate however not all of them). We love Pediatrics in Brevard! The office is nice and clean, and We have never had to wait too long. We see Dr Pena and we love her. My son has been seen just for routine appointments, and a same day random appointment after a fall at school. The only negative comment I would have is that when you're initially taken back it can be kind of awkward in the little weight and measurements area. There can be several nurses with their patients all in the area and I never know which way to go to stay out of everyone's way. read more

The Pediatrics in Brevard in Rockledge is terrible. I've been taking my kids there for years and for the last year or so it's been horrible. I tried to just suck it up but after today's visit, I just had enough. The front staff is so rude and my kids and I are treated like crap every time we have an appointment there. We are always there way more than an hour, watching everyone else go back to be seen except us till the waiting room is empty. Even patients coming in way after we did. Today, I was there for my daughters well check and they told me her appointment was canceled in February and they called and left me a message. How is that even possible, we have had this appointment for months. No one contacted me to cancel it. The Lady working the front desk ( don't know her name because no one where's a name tag) Told me the appointment was canceled so I asked If they had another time today, she said no. I said ok I would like to get it rescheduled then for another day. She said it would be 2 weeks, I said ok. Then she said wait it will be July 24th, I said wow that's far out and my daughter needs shots so I asked if it would be ok to wait that long. She then got rude with me and said that I could go to a different office. I said well we have been coming here forever and just wanted to be seen for our appointment and I checked the patient portal and don't see any cancellations. She then rudely slammed a business card down on the counter for me and told me there was people behind me that needed to check in. I was upset that we where there at the counter ready to check in ourselves Then trying to get another appointment for my daughter and she rudely wanted to push us aside like we didn't matter at all. Needless to say, we just left and made an appointment somewhere else. This office definitely needs to get things together. How can you treat people like that! read more

Should be 0 star option,Do not take your kid there! Clearly stated in child's record that she has Lyme & NO HPV vaccine. Nurses came in room abruptly gave her HPV vaccine then claimed it was "necessary" booster. They outright LIE & don't care about health,only their profit. Within days of vaccine daughter's menstral cycle stopped,she started flapping arms in the air (Dx'd as autism). Many visits to ER for two years,then had the nerve to have ins co call me to bring her back for two more dosaes of vaccine they never should have given her. read more

I would absolutely NOT recommend this Pediatric office! I took my son in to get a refill on his asthma medication and they charged me $250! My other son just needed a referral to have his neck looked at and they charged me $165! They didn't even get to see a doctor! And they completely forgot about the referral on top of it! I called the office bc I thought they just put the charges in wrong...nope. They said the charges were correct, and refused to give me a reasonable explanation as for such high charges. They said there was nothing they could do to change it and that all I could do is write a letter of complaint. They said this office does not have a set appointment fee and they can't tell you how much the appointment is going to be until AFTER the kids are seen. My daughter who is a teenager went to brevard pediatrics for an appointment. When she was checking out they told her they were not sure of the copay amount and would send the bill for the services after billing insurance. 2 weeks later I got a bill for 40 dollars copay and 25 dollar late fee. when called and asked about the late fee the staff were rude and arrogant and said it is the patients responsibility to know what their copay is and pay it at time of service. I am not sure how they would feel if I charged them a late fee when you sit and wait at the pediatricians office waiting for a doctor after getting an appointment for a certain time. They just process people and have a bunch of MA who do the interview and vitals and lock you up in a room for 30 mins sometimes even upto an hour before a MD walks in to check your child read more

We started seeing Dr. Leiba in 1998. He was always great. Even though the office staff was always rude to us we still stuck by him. Yes when we needed him the most after 20 years. He cared nothing about my younger son only my older son. When I needed records to enroll him into school the front office erased his signature making all his records no good. Dr. Leiba cowardly after all these years couldn't even give us a call and tell why. He failed to give his office the proper notes on the follow up. We did things the same. We were just another number for him. He cared nothing for my kids. Don't believe his long stories. I was told my son who has been sick was misdiagnosed for years. If caught earlier he wouldn't be going through all this. I never blamed him once. He never once questioned not growing for 2 years constant headaches. All the signs were there. I would run as fast as you can from Brevard pediatrics and find someone else. read more

Been going to Peds for almost 7 years. Anytime my kids are sick, they are seen either by their nurse practitioner or whoever is available. I never have an issue getting referral. Any questions I have, they are always friendly and timely in calling back. read more
