Really good! I came in after visiting the Poppy Fields. I was hungry and needed to kill some time before I worked the Lancaster Farmer's Market. I ordered a beef tostada a la cart and they served complimentary chips and salsa. Beef Tostada I was so surprised at the quality! The beef in the tostada was shredded beef and flavorful! Went to the knew exactly what I was being charged left tip at the table then while checking my account it was $8 and change over charged call to speak to the owner Esperanza she said she is not responsible for that did not want to make any suggestions or corrections to the mistake that has been done I've been told her does that mean I am paying $16 of tip for charges of $44 she didn't again said it was not her mistake there was nothing she can do so I'm putting this out there to watch when you use your debit card they tell you what buttons to push and there is where they get their tips and I never even wrote anything in for amount of tip tip was left at the table. Truly, this husband-and-wife owner team makes the most outstanding cheese enchiladas, some of the best we've had in years! I loved the chicken molé enchiladas and was very glad that I requested extra Molé sauce--I asked the owner-waitress if they made their own molé, and she said that her husband did. I liked it a lot and would definitely order that next time! For dessert we shared a flan and Mr. Picky liked that a lot. Lows It looked beautiful, but I was not a huge fan of the Chili Relleno, I just thought it needed more flavor so I added Tapitio hot sauce. It was cooked well but just needed a flavor boost. Not impressed with the chips and salsa. We also experimented for dessert by sharing Buñuelos with ice-cream, a scoop with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on cinnamon sugar chips (we preferred the flan). Yikes...where do I begin? First off this place is a complete rip off and not worth the money at all. I order five asada tacos and five chicken tacos with a small soda (no rice no beans; this was JUST TACOS) and the total was over $50. They kept reiterating that the tacos are really big...and unfortunately they were not. These tacos are a solid $2 worth at MAX (see attached photos). Not only are they not "big" like they attempted to portray but the chicken is dry with no sauce and filled with 50% lettuce sprinkled with some cheese and the asada (asada is tender) is only with cilantro and onions. For almost $5 a pop; this taco should have had sour cream, guacamole, pico de guyo SOMETHING making this a supreme ass taco. No. They gave just a few small spoon size things of salsa for this $50 order of tacos and to top it off FORGOT TO GIVE ME MY DRINK. GO TO MEDRANOS They give you TWO - 3 item combos (choose from burrito, taco, enchilada, chili verde, tamale) WITH soup/salad AND beans and rice for $25 TOTAL with unlimited chips and salsa and everything is bomb I have never felt so scammed in my entire life for tacos; I highly recommend going elsewhere. I called in an order about 1 month ago and asked for a chicken soap (which for the most part it's called a Caldo de Pollo) This plate always comes with vegetables and when I picked it up I thought I was getting just that, come to find out when I got home it was just chicken broth with shredded chicken. No vegetables. So I posted my honest review on Google about it and the owner says that if I wanted vegetables I should have asked. ‍ Besides them being rude they did nothing to fix the problem. Honestly I can call a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area and ask for the same soup with the difference between them putting vegetables like it's supposed to be.
