Pedro's has excellent food. The debit is bright and colorful and just feels good. The salsa is probably the best you'll ever put in your mouth, very authentic. I had the trio fajitas and was very pleased. The only downside was the service. I sat in the bar area and was waited on by the bartender who was vey busy making drinks. read more

This place was on track for a 4- or 5-star review until I made the mistake of ordering their "Cuban" sandwich. First, they clearly do not know what a Cuban sandwich is. Their menu specifically states that it comes with mustard, yet the sandwich was served with chipotle sauce instead. A traditional Cuban contains mustard, not chipotle. Beyond that, the sandwich wasn't even pressed properly, had very little ham, and was missing the mustard entirely. I brought these issues to the manager's attention and explained that the sandwich did not match what was advertised on the menu. His response was that they would "take it under context"--whatever that means. I pointed out that the only context that mattered was their own menu, which clearly lists mustard, not chipotle sauce. To their credit, I gave them the opportunity to make it right. Rather than remaking the sandwich, which would have been the appropriate response, the manager simply brought out a small dish of mustard and extra pickles and considered the matter resolved. Even after I indicated that remaking the sandwich would probably be the better solution, he chose not to do so. The margarita was excellent, but the poor execution of a basic menu item and the disappointing customer service left a bad impression. If you're going to advertise a Cuban sandwich, at least make what is listed on the menu. read more

Pretty good, the quesadillas were pretty plain chicken and cheese.. no pico or sour cream or anything else.. however the empanadas saved the review , as an appetizer they were fantastic.. I wished they had a larger order for a whole meal!! Also beware out of all my travels this is the first Mexican restaurant that serves very warm (temperature wise) salsa.. it's very thin and when you dip a chip into it the chip immediately becomes soggy.. solid 2 stars if not for the empanadas that were just that good! read more

I had hopes for this place since my wife picked it out for her Birthday. We sat down as a party of 7 . 2 adults 5 kids. I asked our waitress for kids menu and she stated they no longer had any but would check. We ordered drinks and she came back there after for food order . I then asked her for the kids menu again since she forgot. We then placed our orders . Things went left when we had to repeat what we wanted 30 times to her and pointing it out in the menu . She had a big issue with the menu order under K it was supposed to come with 1 burrito, 1 chalupa , 1 beef taco and 1 enchilada. We asked for the burrito to be chicken , the chalupa to chicken, and enchilada beef . When the plate came out the chalupa looked like a tostada because it was flat and had no chicken , no meat whatsoever. We brought it to her attention and she said that it was a chalupa . I said what about no meat where is the chicken . At this point the food is soggy and you cant pick it up without it crumbling. She finally brought a side of chicken for it . Before eating I said can we just order something else. She said no , I asked to speak to a manager. After speaking to the manager he had them remake the Chalupa that looked like a Tostada. The waitress took the side of chicken to the back . They finally brought all our food to the table to eat . Everything was either too salty or bland . At this point we were ready to just leave . We got the receipt didnt even look over it . We asked for military discount which was 10% off . $168 . 62 Dollars later . I gave the waitress $180 cash . She asked If she could keep the change on top of gratuity for $26.57 she got and we allowed her to. I got home and finally got a chance to check my receipt and saw that they only took off $2.25 off the entire bill for 10% military discount .Then I noticed they then charged us $3.50 for plastic forks . Then charged us for chicken on the chalupa that was a tostata that crubled up . Worst Birthday dinner ever. I returned today and they were unwilling to fix the issues with my receipt. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE GO HERE. They are way overpriced for the food and drinks quality and customer service sucks big time. Never again. read more

First off, I ordered a seafood chimichanga and she gave me some shit that I couldn't even pronounce- then when I sent it back- she had the nerve to argue with me about what I said I ordered. I don't care what you do- customers are always right. It's a way to do things. She could have said ma'am I'm sorry I must have misheard you, I apologize- what can I get for you again or what did you ask for again. Instead she wanted to say what she thought she heard and it was some shit I can't even pronounce because I only eat chimichangas from Mexican restaurants PERIOD!! I will never go back there. I normally test a good Mexican restaurant with how they make their chimichangas. These were the worst I ever had. They were soggy even after I told them to put the cheese on the side instead of on top. Had a margarita and it tasted like Tajin and syrup. The bartender didnt understand me and I had to say everything 3-4 times. I thought "margarita" should've been easy enough to understand ‍. Now, will I be back? Yes. Because the bar is big and welcoming. Good spot to socialize. They need some good happy hour specials on food and drinks here, otherwise the place won't last long at this rate. read more

Food is very tasty and fresh. However , portions need to be bigger. I had the birria tacos which were delicious but please add one more taco to the plate and more rice and beans . I loved the salsa and bean dips ! Margarita is very good and strong ! Service was super nice and good . However ... there's a weird crowd here . Many people with children misbehaving. We had to move to another table cause a child behind us was banging on the seats and standing up watching us . The waitress was very nice and understanding and I know a restaurant can't control parents and their kids but maybe try to sit families with kids away from families without kids . The chips that were brought out were stale. I was told they were from one batch and proceeded to bring me another batch of the stale chips. Chips are supposed to be crunchy NOT like you are chewing on rubber! Also was charged for 2 alcohol drinks instead of just the ONE I drank...LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPTS! We sat for more than 10-15 minutes before they asked what we wanted to drink even though the 3 ladies around the bar area were not busy. By the time we got our food was about 10 minutes before I got my ONE alcoholic drink even though I ordered it way before my meal. I used to waitress and bartend so I try hard to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and tip for good service but the service and food were not as good as I was hoping it would be. I will not be returning as they absolutely tried to pass off the stale chips as the best they could do, the service sucked and also trying to overcharge for alcoholic drinks I did not get!
