This was the only place in the mall that had bubble waffle so I decided to check it out. They have a specials right now of buy one get one 50% off for bubble waffle, shaved ice, and drinks. I was tempted if we could mix and match but it had to be the same item. You order from a self service machine and then you just wait until food is ready. I just got a plain waffle. I was surprised at how cheap it was. Most of the places I been to recently was closer to $8 while here it was 5.5 so that was nice. My kids love watching them make it. The waffle was good because my kid ate almost all of it! The place got busy when we were busy so it seems a little chaotic but it wasn't too bad Definitely would try other items next time

I recently visited Peekaboo Poké & Tea, and overall it was a pretty enjoyable experience with a few standout moments and a couple of areas that could use some improvement. Walking in, the interior immediately catches your attention. The space feels modern, bright, and playful--very much in line with the trendy poké and bubble tea aesthetic. Clean lines, light wood tones, and pops of color give it a welcoming, Instagram-worthy vibe without feeling overdone. It's a comfortable spot whether you're grabbing a quick drink or sitting down to enjoy a meal at the food court. I decided to try their assorted sushi, which had a lot going for it in terms of flavor. Each piece tasted fresh, and the ingredients complemented each other well. The fish was enjoyable and well-prepared, giving that satisfying bite you expect from good sushi. That said, I did find myself wishing there was more variety in the assortment. It leaned a bit repetitive, and the balance felt slightly off because there was quite a bit of rice compared to the toppings. At times, it felt overly filling in a way that overshadowed the flavors rather than enhancing them. For drinks, I tried a couple of options, starting with the Strawberry Rice Mochi Tea Latte. This was definitely the most unique item of the visit. The flavor itself was interesting--creamy, lightly sweet, and something different from your typical milk tea. However, the addition of rice mochi created a bit of a disconnect. While chewy textures can be fun, pairing mochi with a fruity tea base didn't quite blend harmoniously. It felt like two separate experiences in one cup rather than a cohesive drink. On the other hand, the Orange & Mango Fresh Fruit Tea was a clear highlight. It was incredibly refreshing, with bright citrus notes balanced by the natural sweetness of mango. The fruit flavors tasted clean and vibrant, making it the perfect drink to complement a meal or just enjoy on its own. It's the kind of beverage you'd come back for, especially on a warm day. Overall, Peekaboo Poké & Tea offers a visually appealing environment and some solid menu items. While the sushi could benefit from better balance and variety, and some of the more experimental drinks might not be for everyone, there are definitely bright spots--especially in their fruit teas. It's a fun place to try something new, and with a few tweaks, it could easily become a go-to spot in the Southcenter area.

Today I ordered my drink at 4:55pm. I ordered a Mango Pomelo Sago and a Pink Lemonade. Why did it take a total of 17 minutes to get both drinks out? There was 3 workers working at once. Once I got my first mango drink at 5:10pm I kindly asked about the pink lemonade to a women but the man immediately interrupted me and says that we are making it right now and we are using fresh lemons. At first it sounds good but it took another 5 minutes to get that drink out. I then went to my car to take a sip of the pink lemonade and it was bland! No sugar and it tasted like half a lemon and water with barely any strawberry puree. I will not come back again. Try to train your workers more. I worked at a boba shop with only one other person and this was a big disappointment with the amount of quality and customer service.

Peekaboo is near seafood city, jollibee, red ribbon bakery, Valerios, and chowking. It'd been a while since I had peekaboo. Now that my fave place at the mall closed, I'll be spending more time at peekaboo since they have the mango bingsoo I really enjoy during the summer. I decided to try the avomango pomelo dew. It's not sweet at all. The pomelo actually makes it tart. It's seems more like a smoothie than a slushie. The photo makes it look like it's a slushie. I'm also helping out my baby nice do school project so I decided to take photos of Flat Stanley hanging out and getting a drink. Place is clean, and gal who took care of my order was sweet.

Not really my fav place to go. Felt like it wasn't even cold when I drank it. Barely any ice tbh. If you were really wanting boba, I feel like there's other places in the area you could go to.

Very fast service and yummy drinks! I would recommend 10/10! Very pretty place too and clean

The runny egg on top ties everything together perfectly, and the spam hits that sweet spot: firm with a slight crisp, not soft, not burnt. Been going here for several years now - poke has always been solid and the Hawaiian dishes were good not great. But today it was all different - everything was outstanding! Wife got a 2 salmon scoop poke : fish was great as always, but the seasoned potatoes (gamja jorim) she chose as 1 of 3 sides was very good. Dad had the hwae-dupbap (think of it as Korean bibimbap but with poke instead of meat) and the Cho-gochujang sauce was excellent. I had the loco moco and it was better than in the past. Also the banchan with that were fire (seasoned japchae noodles, spicy shredded radish) both better than in the past They sell most of the side dishes as banchan and as a Korean I fully endorse them. I am a huge Korean banchan snob and I will absolutely countersign their cooking I don't know what's going on but like I said - everything tastes better than before. The ajumma who runs the place said business is getting slower as the economy is imploding so let's support this awesome local business so we can keep this place around.

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

Most of the staff are nice, but the owner does not quite seem to care about what his customers think as he is on the ruder side. However, the most outstanding staff is the older sweet looking lady who is incredibly kind. I wanted to make a review to to praise her (I wish I got her name!!) 2 scoops= small 3 scoops=medium 4 scoops=large Usually, the 2 scoops is enough to fill me up--but I'll always accidentally order the 3 scoops instead. I do not get their spicy meats because they're all cut up and mushy. Get their non-spicy one-- they're more fresh and at no extra charge. The rest are charge an extra $1.50 a scoop. So if you do not like mushy meat, I recommend you not to get the spicy ones. The sweet lady who helped me out gave me a small sample to try (for one of the protein) when it seemedl like I had trouble picking which protein to pick. She gave me a generous amount of toppings (the size of the scoops) when other people here usually give smaller scoops. The price is quite expesnive for what you get here sometimes. I like how this poke place actually mixes your protein into the sauce for you while others just squirt their suace on top. I like how spacous it is inside, and it gives a clean feeling. I enjoy eating my meals there on sunny days. The Poke Bar isn't the best Poke place, but it's not bad for Kent Poke. I have decent experiences here, and there are defintely worse ones out there, hence the 4 stars. I just had a really good bowl this time and wanted to share!

Kalua pork plate $17.99- great Smokey taste on the kalua pig and the side salad had nice greens. However, the rice was re-purposed hard and sour sushi rice which I assume is also used for the other menu items. I would prefer just plain hapa or white rice. Loco style $6.49 it was an extra cost to make the kalua pig plate, loco moco style which means brown gravy with sunny side egg. Enjoyed the gravy, but the price was too high. Because the kiosk was self serve, I was unable to know what loco style meant and wished I had ordered at the counter. Hawaiian sun POG $3.99 very reasonable price. Ice cold. Perfect.
