Wanted to start off by saying I love this place, and I'm a regular. The entire staff is extremely friendly and basically knows my order. 5 stars. But today I tried their new açaí bowl, the Original Açaí to be exact. And after having the perfect açaí bowl before, "the OG" as they call it... man I really want the old one back! The new one is more expensive, but they do give you a lot more so I get that. But the taste just isn't there. It's very bland and I honestly can barely taste any of the açaí anymore as the new formula blends almond milk, bananas, strawberries with the açaí in a blender. It sounds like it would be good, but I would much rather have "the OG" back. Again, I love this place. The staff, and all their poké bowls are amazing. I have to say, I was impressed by the amount of options available to make your own poke bowl (lots of great options if you prefer one of their designed recipes). We ordered two regular Build-Your-Own Bowls with our choice of two scoops of protein and toppings such as spicy crab salad, seaweed salad! For $13.99 per bowl and the portions, this meal could've easily been finished in two sittings. They place the protein in a separate paper boat like fries plate and mix the different sauces you choose with a silicon spatula, that is dipped in water with other used silicon spatulas. My only gripe is that if you have a food allergy, they'll probably have to use a separate silicon spatula, but besides that it wasn't exactly a sight for sore eyes. For every dollar spent, you earn one point however I would proceed with caution. read more

This time their signature bowls had a lot of sides that really "beefed" them up to make it look like you are getting a lot of food. Then they have to stack everything into this smaller container where they try to balance everything so things didn't get spread very well, and the sauce was only on one part, so it seemed very disorganized and odd to have multiple containers for one bowl? Ordered online and it was ready to pick up at the time slot. Glad I ordered online because there was already a line of 6 or so people. If you want to skip the line, order online. It's simple. The positives: fast, healthy. Their selection is good. I selected practically everything that was free. Chosed 3 proteins and I appreciated the fact that I could have half rice, half veggies for the base. The brown rice was a bit undercooked. I was a bit surprised that my bowl wasn't as full as I expected. If I had to choose a location, I would go to the Bellevue location over this one. I was raised eating poke & poke bowls, so yes my expectation were low, since these are the type of restaurants we try to avoid with them mocking Hawaiian food. But honestly, it wasn't bad at all. There were chunks of rice that were hard has hell. Went around 1130am. There's no way "fresh" rice is hard enough to break teeth. Lucky I was already dissatisfied from the first bite and ate slowly. My partner got the spicy tuna bowl and I got a mixture of tofu and sweet potato. I thought it all tasted super fresh and you can get a ton of toppings without any extra cost. Solid choice for poke bowls that are colorful and well designed. The portion size is good with plenty of fish and generous amounts of toppings at a price similar to other poke restaurants nearby. The pike place bowl tastes quite healthy with crunchy cucumber and firm edamame flavored lightly with onion, sesame seeds, and tied together with a light shoyu. The hawaiian classic bowl featured plenty of ahi tuna with a good helping of seaweed salad for saltiness. Every other location has been great, friendly and courteous and making it seem like they actually want to be there! I ordered a bowl on door dash hoping it would be good but it was terrible they threw everything in no mixing nothing and sent it while it was missing more then half of the toppings and of course no one can make it right and of course because I door dashed for a reason I can't just go in and have them remake the bowl. You can stand there waiting while they look at you & get back to what they're doing. A "hey! We'll be right with you!" would be a good way to start. Regardless if it's a mobile pick up or just dining-in. I've been to this location multiple times (because it's the closest one to home) until the benson location opened up so that's now my go-to. Antonia took great care of me during my difficult indecisiveness of what toppings I wanted as there's so many to choose from. I ended up going with the Hawaiian marinated tuna and salmon. One of my favorite lunch spots/post workout meals. I had my first bowl at the Factoria location but visited the Renton location multiple times now since it's closer to me. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the last spot was called Ahi Poki? I was saddened to see that place go but overjoyed that another poke place took their spot! The inside interior vibes are modern and chill, relaxing vibes with fake succulents and green plants everywhere. Like any typical poke spot you get in line and start your order. They have their pre-made bowls that you can try if you don't know what you want or want to try their combinations which is super helpful if you're feeling indecisive and you don't feel like holding up the line. I always ask for the medicine rice (yum--reminds me of Korean purple rice) and 1/2 organic spring mix. I choose 2 proteins--they give you a generous amount of fish! 3 proteins are available if you're hangry. Here, you choose your fish and sauces, they will mix it for you. They'll also ask if you want the trinity seasoning + add ins mixed with your fish. I usually get my add ons at the very end. Next, PILE the toppings! They have an abundance of bomb, fresh add ons so definitely go crazy and try different flavors and textures. So thankful they don't put a limit on toppings, a few are extra $ though. Lastly, like sprinkles on top of ice cream you need the crunchies! Try a few or try them all, they really enhance the flavors (my favs are the fried garlic, onions and furikake!). If you stop in during happy hour times and roll the dice, you can get discounts/free items! Last time I was in I got a free drink :) Overall, they have great food, friendly and attentive staff, good pricing and location is nearby--5 star experience for me. I've been coming to just Poke for awhile now and have never left a review. They recently changed their bowls and I love it - the bowl gets wider at the top to fit more of your favorite toppings. There's a list of bowls that you can choose from but I always like to customize my bowls (Reg = 2 scoops of protein and Large = 3 scoops). You can choose from standard white rice, brown rice and some unique options such as veggie noodles. Next you will choose your proteins - I normally go with the special and the salmon. Lots of dressings to choose from (house, spicy aioli, etc.) I would recommend asking for the trifecta in addition to sauce which adds sea salt, sesame seeds and sesame oil to your proteins. For sides you can choose from cucumbers, seaweed, onions, pineapples, cilantro, jalapeño, etc. lots to choose from. You also get to pick two special sides free of charge (ex. Seaweed salad, crab salad, spicy crab salad, etc.) The last row of toppings is my favorite - would recommend asking for all three (edamame, mango and masago. It's great. Now before you have them top the lid - ask for the crunch onions - adds great texture and flavor. If you like poke - I would highly recommend just poke. The staff is welcoming and the majority of the time they have all the proteins and toppings you need to craft your epic bowl. The spicy tuna is my personal favorite along with their spicy aioli (highly recommend if you like heat!).
