I like the location of this Peet's, and the staff are friendly. But the management needs a shift. It's constantly a slow location to get in and out of. There are always several people working, but you might spend 20 minutes waiting for an espresso drink, while it's not very busy. I'll keep coming but it would be great if they could turn this ship around and get some more efficiency at this location. read more

Love me some Peets. The summer coconut drinks keep me coming back. I wish they kept them on the menu indefinitely. I like a coconut white mocha in the morning (soy milk, no whip), and the coconut mint freddo in the afternoon. Although I can't taste a lick of mint, it's still quite tasty. Do yourself a favor and get a salted caramel rice krispie or a mini lemon bundt cake. So good! read more

Updated review.. hadn't eaten or drank anything today. Ordered my cappuccino with oat milk. It did taste weird but I assumed that they had a diff brand of oatmilk than I use. Drank half my coffee and had to leave and go home. Now I'm SICK. and haven't left the bathroom. Pretty sure the oat milk was EXPIRED. Ughhhh they are Sooooooo slow. I love Peet's Coffee my go to morning spot before work prefer Peet's before Starbucks any day. My only complaint about this location is they need to lean to make the green tea matcha better without foam. I've emailed corporate before and they responded and have me a gift card for the inconvenience. If you are paying money for a large cup of matcha you should get that not a half cup of foam and the other half matcha need to use strainers. read more

I come here with my mother as often as we can. We love Peet's black and white hot chocolate and their Havana latte. We usually go across the street to the bagel shop and then eat it at the coffee shop. Great costumer service but it does get busy early in the mornings. Clean and healthy atmosphere. In overall I just dislike that there aren't so many peet locations we come out from Oakley. Although there is a Peet's in Antioch/Brentwood by its way out of our way. But we love you guys! read more

This is the Peets that overlooks Todos Santos Plaza. On a warm day, you can sit outside, sip your Java, hear foreign languages, and watch the world go by. So if you can't be at Plaza Mayor in Madrid, this is the closest thing that you'll find in Concord. Gayle and I stopped by to kill time while waiting for our turn to the Comcast Office across the street. It was also a bit nippy outside, so an inside hot coffee drink was just the ticket. This Peets isn't nearly as homey as my home spots on Vine or Solano in Berkeley, but the hard working folks partially made up for it with good cheer, free samples, and discount on the Holiday Blend. And it certainly put us in a good mood and right state of mind before heading back to deal with our Cable issues. read more

This is the second time I've gone to Pete's and had problems. At this location and the other in Clayton. If you order a hot beverage I want it hot! By the time I got out the door the HOT beverages were COLD! The cashiers were really sweet and helpful, but the barista's were a pain in the A**!!!! How HARD is it to make a HOT DRINK.....duhhh! The store in Clayton was told to make an EXTRA HOT beverage. Zero stars for drinks and barista's, 5 stars for cashiers. Dear Pete's, I come here often as I am entering the shop I can smell the roasting beans and it brings joy to my heart, and as I walk up to the counter I always have a friendly staff welcome me and offer some delicious coffee to try, but I can never get a seat here, I would one day like to enjoy a warm seat and smell the roasting coffee as I am sipping on my addiction. This is a great Peet's location conveniently in Todos Santos Plaza. I've met friends in here a few times and like that they have several tables for sitting. I should bring my computer and take advantage of the free wifi sometime - I just never stay inside that long since there is the pretty park outside. The staff is nice and drinks are tasty and quick. I still find the service at Oak Grove Plaza Peet's to be the friendliest - but no complaints about this location! read more

We visited this location on a Sunday afternoon in December. There were not many customers. I ordered one hot latte. While waiting I used the restroom. Well, tried to. It was so disgusting that I came right back out. It took more than 15 minutes for my drink to be ready. And when it was finally ready, it was lukewarm. Totally disappointing. read more

I have been visiting this Peet's more often lately. The jasmine green tea is still one of my favorites although I like their coffee as well. During my last visit I was there for a while and someone brought me a sample of one of their coffees. I don't remember the name, but it had a hint of blueberry and was apparently back my popular demand. The free wifi no longer requires a code and there is no time limit. I sometime feel as though I'm on a quest to find every Peet's in Northern California. Today, I was traveling from near Martinez down to Dublin, and this Peet's location showed up. Being downtown in an unfamiliar town, I used navigation to help me, and I ended up finding a parking space very near the building. I also noticed that there was free public parking available not far from there--or so the sign said. It feels as though I keep finding different menu items at each store. I was glad to see White Chocolate Mocha on the menu, as this is one of my favorite combinations of Ghiardelli hot cocoa. A hot coffee on a cool day was appreciated. The people behind the counter were friendly, patient, and efficient. It didn't take long for my drink, though there was only one other in front of me. What wasn't good is that the tables really needed to be cleaned. read more

I have been a fan of Peet's coffee for years. This Peet's location has become my favorite for the delicious coffee, and for the friendly staff that make our visits there very pleasant indeed. The manager Patti, and many of the staff know us on sight and we are greeted with a smile and they even know our names. (Not many busy coffee shops would make the effort) Patti has helped me expand my coffee choices by making suggestions of drinks to try, like the delicious Havana cappuccino, and the Traditional Cappuccino,my usual go-to if I have the time to sit down and enjoy it,(try it breve-style, I find I don't need any sugar when it's made with half and half). I am also a fan of the cold-brew iced coffee, and the Black Tie (cold brew with condensed milk and a splash of cream) Even when it is busy, the staff gets through the orders quickly, so don't be put off it there is a long line. read more

They are ok, the staff is super friendly. The place could be a bit cleaner... The atmospher was alright, a bit loud. Free wifi, not great for kids. The pastries are no where near as good as starbucks unfortunately and the Carmel macciato was super sweet. Too sweet for me. I will stick to starbucks, but I am glad I gave Peets a try. Peets is more focused on coffee, where I like the different options at starbucks. I suppose I shouldn't compare the two, but as a coffee customer it is an honest opinion. Drinks are better than Starbucks so I usually go to Peet's instead of Starbucks. Unfortunately, there are more Starbucks than Peet's so chances are I will find a Starbucks before Peet's (Though I will drive the extra mile to go to Peet's). Customer service at this store is hit and miss. Sometimes I get good service while others it seems the worker is having a hard day and wants company in that place. Their WiFi is painfully slow even though there aren't many people in be store using it. I'm glad that at this location there is free public WiFi (Todos Santos Park), which is much faster and more reliable than what Peet's provides. Bottom line? If you like Starbucks that's where you'll go. If you like Peet's that's where you'll go. If you don't care then you'll go to the gas station down the street. read more

Ha ha!! I recently visited this Peet's location, after I saw the holiday special they're having. All holiday drinks purchased after 12pm are 50% off, can't go wrong with that! The first time I went in to use the discount the customer service person said they only honored that special if you showed them the email or post. But this check-in I didn't need to show them anything. I tried the Spiced Hot Tea Cider, it was really good. I love beverages with a hint of cinnamon spice to it, especially during the holidays / winter months, it adds to the atmosphere of the holiday /winter season. This Peet's is on a corner located in a cute area of Concord, across the street from Todos Santos Plaza. It's a really cute neighborhood. The first time I stopped in to get a hot drink, it was filled with people just chatting away with each other. It reminds me of "the cute corner neighborhood coffee house" seen in movies. :) So far everyone I've been helped by, have been nothing but nice! Makes it even more inviting when you're being welcomed in. I will definitely be back. Maybe the next time I'll be able to stay awhile! :) read more

We stopped here after an early morning test at the hospital. I specifically searched for a Peet's location as I thought they are consistently good. This location is attractive, though a bit on the small side. It is clean and easily accessible. The coffee on the other hand was one of the WORSE cups of coffee I have had in a long time. The latte tasted like warm water with no coffee flavor whatsoever. We had already left the shop and were back on the road or I would have gone back and asked for a replacement. I thought perhaps it was just my drink but my husbands tasted just as bad. Seriously, the coffee at this Peet's tasted as bad as Starbucks (another shop that lives only on it PAST reputation).While I plan to avoid this Peet's in the future, I now think twice before entering any Peets especially now when there are so many other small shops promising good consistent coffee. read more

Steaming milk is an art and not everybody puts in the effort to master it. I come here for a traditional cappuccino the way I remember them in Italy, creamy milk foam just sweet enough to balance the espresso's bitterness. No sugar necessary when the milk is streamed right. Not everyone can pull it off, but when I walk through the door and see Haley behind the espresso machine I get a little excited. She makes the best drinks. Everyone is friendly here, and a little scalded milk never ruined my day, but it's a toss-up on what's sweeter, Haley or her steamed milk. read more

Cashier could've been a little friendlier, said good morning with no response followed by a how's it going with little response. Ordered an iced caramel macchiato (ordered this over 100 times in my life) and another drink, barista calls out my name and puts 2 drinks down. It looks way wrong. I said "that's a caramel macchiato?" and got a confident "yes" in return. 1) cup was a different size than ordered 2) all 1 color rather than milk and espresso separated like normal 3) looked like a drink with oat milk, sure enough it was. Did an order ahead today, they were BUSY. When I got there the place was bustling but the staff was calm and working as fast as they could. I had to ask the girl making my coffees and calling out orders for her name she could not have been more friendly and welcoming and even though they were insanely busy she was going above and beyond to be helpful and ensure everyone had everything they needed. I believe her name was Jessie(?)... she deserves a raise! read more
