Vegan Horchata Cold Brew Oat Latte, with no coffee, making it a regular horchata
    Ibis R.

We have come here now a few times for their vegan breakfast sandwiches and vegan Horchata. The breakfast sandwich comes with vegan egg, vegan sausage, and vegan cheese on a thin bagel bread. The Horchata is made with oat milk, but can also be made with soy. I really enjoy these items when you want something quick and good. I will be returning whenever I want a quick breakfast item that is vegan.

I like the coffee here. I also like the ripple milk alternative. My favorite here is the vanilla latte with ripple milk. Delicious. Today I also ordered the new iced matcha sparkling drink for my friend. My friend said it was good. This location is inside a huge shopping area with a market and many restaurants. There is always parking but you may have to walk a little. Service is prompt and efficient.

Buongiorno!! Good morning LA!! This is the only to start your morning right. A decent strong espresso with the delicious egg white frittatas. So satisfying and filling to begin the day. Both indoor/outdoor dining areas, cozy and comfortable. With pleasant customer experience. Try them out if you are in the area. Peet's coffee is my forever favorite coffee shop.

One of the smoothest and tastiest latte coffee. The turkey bacon and egg white muffin sandwich, was realy good. Super nice and accommodating staff here at Peets coffee in Pasadena. Large, clean patio and plenty of parking. Highly recommend Peets coffee in Pasadena.

I have been coming to this Peet's Coffee location for a number of years. I mostly just come here to study. Since COVID, the inside is less crowded and tables are usually available. Prior to COVID, you had to come very early in the morning or in the late afternoon/early evening to get a seat. The premium tables are still hard to get but easier than before. I actually do not like Peet's Coffee, but I like their tea. However, coffee tastes will vary. They are pricey just like Starbucks and inflation and COVID have not helped. In the past, people complain about their mobile ordering, but many people recently seem to get their mobile orders just fine. The baristas change about every year here and the current ones are nicer than the last pre-COVID ones. There is usually parking available somewhere in the lot, but not right in front of the store. There are less homeless inside the store than prior to COVID. Tips: (1) there is a morning rush about 7-8 or so and the line can go out the door. Consequently, mobile ordering may be good to try at this time. There is also a lunch rush about 12-1. (2) the best tables are the two by the wall near the order pick up at the back and with the plugs on the wall. The second two best tables are the corner seat on the counter by the window and the table right in front of it on the wall, both have plugs. The tables by the windows get really hot even with the blinds down in the afternoon. Even the tables without plugs away from by opposite the windows get hot. The table without a plug near the order pick up is the third best inside seat. (3) like many coffee shops, the restroom has a code, so make sure to ask the barista for the code when you pick up your order. There is only one toilet but you can go in the Ralph's in the mall if you have an emergency and the toilet is occupied. (4) the best parking in the lot is under the tree in the row diagonally across from Daphne's, especially in the summer months. However, the tree sheds on your car and you usually have to get there early in the morning or get lucky to get those spots. (5) The baristas are wearing masks, but most customers are not. Sit outside if this makes you uncomfortable and the weather is nice. (6) If you are sitting by the windows, then roll the blinds down. You don't have to ask, just do it yourself.

Due to COVID restrictions and safety the store rearranged their setup again. You can't enter to pick-up but they have a table set up front for picking up orders. Their display case has also been moved to the entrance area which I thought was cute and considerate for those who may not know what baked goods they want. Staff are friendly and right now they have such cute holiday cups, whether your drink is hot or cold. For COVID safety it is recommended to order via their mobile app and just pick up and go. Right now they even have $2 off coupons on the app if you do order via the app beforehand. I've tried their caffeine-free tea shakers, and they are just delicious.

Iced frap on a hot summer day=instant relief!!

Parking was a little tricky since they don't have parking but there was nearby residential street parking. Service was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful! Inside was very modern and spacious. There was a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as power outlets, making this a nice study or hang out spot! Pricing was reasonable and most drinks were $6-$7+. Love that they have complimentary milk substitutions (oat/almond) and offer ice/sugar adjustments! Got the Toasty ($7) and it consisted of milk tea, espresso, brown sugar syrup, and cinnamon. It's nice that the default for this drink was oat milk. This drink was so delicious! The coffee was not too strong or overpowering. I really enjoyed that it wasn't too sweet without any sugar adjustments. The cinnamon added a nice touch and cherry on top to the drink. Overall, this drink was very yummy and unique! Definitely enjoyed this cafe and would recommend!

I decided on ordering an Oaxacan tostada which came completely smothered in black beans, cabbage, queso fresco, and salsa verde. It was refreshing and made for a quick, light snack while also being deceptively filling. While waiting for the order, I noticed their NY Cookies which came in two kinds. One was simply the regular chocolate chip variety, while the other came packed with white chocolate chips, ate de membrillo (quince cheese), and tejocote (hawthorn fruit paste). I decided on the second one and enjoyed the unique flavors of the bits and pieces, even though it was very sweet. All in all, would definitely come back to dine and chill out.

The Build: I ordered the banana cream matcha, which features a rich matcha base with standard oat milk, topped with a heavenly layer of banana cream and tiny, mysterious crunchy pieces. The Flavor Profile: Taste-wise, the drink was absolutely heavenly. The matcha itself was wonderfully rich, and mixing in the banana cream took it to the next level, while the crunchy toppings added a really nice occasional texture. The only real letdown was the size, the cup was just so tiny for an $8 price tag. Even though the flavors were incredible, it felt a bit hard to justify the steep cost for such a small portion. The Verdict: While the major price tag means this won't be an everyday habit, the solid flavors and super fast, friendly service make it a perfect spot for a little treat every once in a while. The staff had my drink out almost instantly around 10 AM on a Tuesday, and since I live so close, I'll definitely be back occasionally when I want to spoil myself.

The churro had a mild to medium flavor but the bee kind was very faint. On top of that, the espresso itself was on the lighter side. Both drinks were consumed as soon as we got to the car but tasted very watered down. After mixing the drinks thoroughly, you couldn't really distinguish the flavors completely.
