I usually roll through here in the mornings, its on my way to work. I'm a regular dude, and get the same thing everyday, and by the 3rd day I went in, the staff knew what I ordered, and on occasion had it ready for me before I got to the register. Great, Great staff, and the large iced coffee is under 2 bucks, and like most coffee shops, they don't have a minimum to use a debit card, so mega points from this cheapskate. The only downside, and it's the fault of no one at peets, is the barrage of change beggars at the front door, but it is Portland afterall. read more

The coffee is strong at Peet's and the pastries and snacks are varied with vegan options. It can be very expensive - I have paid $4.90 for a soy latte before. Staff seems indifferent to special orders, but they do have flavors and blendy drinks that are necessary in the summer. I think I like it most for the location - 14th and Broadway - near some interesting shoe and clothing shops. Nothing's better than a caffeine fueled shopping spree! The 6:30/ 7 opening time on sat/sun puts it open before many other coffee shops in town - great for the early bird! read more

Love this Peet's. If ya gotta drink corporate coffee, this is where to go. I love their roasts, super flavorful, even fruity. The pastries are good too, and they always have something vegan and/or gluten free around for the many Portlanders who require them. read more

Peet's is a decent coffee shop, for a chain. I had a soy chai, my beverage of choice, and it was good. The atmosphere is pretty corporate; all the Peets look the same, like other chains like Starbucks. I prefer independent coffee shops; they have more character. But Peets is better than the boring Starbucks, and when you are looking for a place to duck into in the rain, it's the obvious choice. read more

This Peet's location is so friendly that I felt the need to write a review about this specific location. I am originally from S.F. so I really love Peet's coffee so I was so thrilled to walk into the Irvington store right near my hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly and a nice clientele. My wife and I were visiting the area and decided to grab a beverage, take a walk around this historic neighborhood and see the beautiful homes in this district. The coffee was very good and the staff were courteous and friendly. Service was a bit slower than some but they take pride in their work and what they provide the customer. Having the coffee in hand, we strolled the streets, smelled the flowers and sipped our coffee. A wonderful date for our 13th Wedding Anniversary. read more

I do favor Peet's for the quality of their teas, however, much less fond of this location. Much prefer the Hawthorne store which is much more engaging, exceptional staff, etc. I'm often at the Hawthorne location and interestingly enough, it attracts an odd assortment of patrons. read more

Peet's may have gone corporate but the great people working there are everything you could want in a "locally owned and operated" outfit. Friendly, helpful, relaxed, informed, professional, you name it. They seem to care about customer service on a real level and have pride in their work. Ask what is in a certain tea blend or if a particular coffee is in season and they can tell you without attitude. When they find out what your preferences are, they suggest new potential favorites, always in a friendly helpful way. Despite all the grouchy customers they must see all day, they keep their cool and don't cop an attitude. Although I do like the coffee, it's the people working there that keep me coming back. Being from Portland Oregon I love high quality coffee, and Peets is my favorite! The baristas are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Anything from drip coffee to an espresso drink is consistently done right. Unfortunately if you are looking for microwaved sausage breakfast sandwiches you will have to go to Starbucks or McDonalds. read more

i went to Peet's coffee the other day cause I was in the area. Stopped to get a chia tea and it was not good. I had about three drinks and couldn't even finish it. The employee's were very friendly but i'm not sure I will be heading back. read more

Peet's Coffee and Tea recently bought Mighty Leaf Tea and has since re-branded some of their tea as Mighty Leaf and started selling other Mighty Leaf tea. Some of their best teas were discontinued and they changed there iced tea (which was normal green tea) to a pineapple flavored green tea. Mighty Leaf tea is good quality but the selection is limited and I am not a fan of the fruit flavors that have been added. read more

This place is great. Great location. Great staff. Great coffee. My one complaint, and it is quite the major complaint, is that the internet at this location has slowed considerably in recent months, to the point that many people have a hard time with any work they might need a faster connection for. PLEASE, FIX YOUR INTERNET, PEET'S!!!!!!! Other than that, it's a really nice place to come and work and have a coffee. read more

They're very nice and all, but I've been here several times, and the americano they make is possibly one of the worst ever! VERY weak with little flavor - it's basically hot brown water. It's just around the corner from my house, and I keep giving them 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances, but no improvement. I'm trying to avoid that other place across the street, but I'm out of options for now. read more

I will give them this...they do some of the best coffee in town! And I noticed they were a little confused when I ask for a Grande Mocha-but that's o.k. Thats a hard habit to break! I do have a pet peeve, however. If you're gonna do pastry, try to stay with the standards that you set with coffee. I ordered a croissant and my partner a scone. Both were rather stale and what I would consider barley edible. I guess I should have said something but I try to avoid confrontation. Anyway, good coffee but PLEASE work on the pastry situation. Peet's is solid. Reliable. And doesn't tastes like burnt soil like Starbucks. And good service both at this and the downtown location. Nothing special about the food but I like this location on 14th for the sunny windows. Nice and chill place and the coffee is a solid B+. They are what chain coffeehouses should resemble. I come to this coffee shop for working, however, the quality of /wifi connection is really bad. It takes me long time to connect to the wifi and loading websites. After trying many times to connect to the wifi, I have decided to go to another coffee shop, where has the better wifi connections. read more

Thankfully, they've minimized the number of veganly-correct, free-from-everything-that-makes-food-fun foods. Nothing like a fully featured Marion berry muffin this time of year. The seasonal lattes are quite good this time of year as well. Cinnamon hazelnut latte is my current favorite. read more

Service here was awful! I came in and stood in line. There were two guys behind the counter. I was first in line, but the guy behind the register decided to help the woman in back of me. Then, after he was done with her, he walked away! I couldn't believe it. The second guy kept fussing around with stuff behind the back of the counter. I guess he didn't realize that paying customers and not junk behind the counter pay his salary. Never going back! read more

This place has the worst breakfast pastries I have ever tasted anywhere on the planet. My husband and I took one bite of a scone and of a muffin, left them uneaten, and walked out with a taste of glue in our mouths. Truly inedible. read more
