Despite planning meticulously, I arrived late to my graduation and nearly missed the opportunity to walk across the stage. I was only notified of the cancellation because I called to confirm; there was no proactive outreach from the company. Very little professionalism, accountability, or genuine remorse was shown. The stress and disappointment caused on such an important day were completely avoidable. I can only imagine how devastating this would be if it were for an event such as a wedding.
