I stopped by this Pei Wei Asian Kitchen to redeem my birthday offer for a free appetizer. Upon entering, I noticed the clean, well-organized restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. I greeted a friendly employee who took my order for six steamed chicken dumplings and redeemed my offer. I decided to dine in for the first time. The dumplings were very enjoyable--flavorable meat filling skillfully wrapped in a soft, al dente dough. Low sodium soy sauce was provided for dipping. The BEST wok stir fry ever prepared by Roberto! Incredible! Better than at Chinese restaurants. The main reason is he was able to get wok hei which is when the wok gets really hot and sears the food but doesn't burn it. Not too many people can do that but Roberto did it for the Mongolian beef and the chow fun noodles. The fire chicken was exceptional as well as it was deep fried to perfection. We got the feast for 3 meal along with the lettuce wraps and Thai donuts. Everything was delicious. This is the best Pei Wei I have ever been to. The food is fresh and flavorful and there is no doubt if I'm in the area I will be back and hopefully Roberto will be working! read more

*update - well, my half eaten plate of food got thrown out this visit the moment I walked from the entrance bar and back with my soda refill. Go figure the time they decide to take action is when I'm not even finished eating. The girl didn't know what to do when I went to her and it was not worth the energy. I cannot recommend dining here solo any more... Between the other concerns, and now this, it's a "no more" for me. Original: I've been frequentijg Pei Wei recently, with it being a tasty option near a project I'm working that doesn't leave me feeling guilty. Like all Pei Wei, the open concept is alive and well and they offer a variety of seating from intimate booths to tall communal bar and in between. The menu offers a variety of simple yet elevated appearing dishes which should satisfy any craving or preference. The team works hard, and assists in sharing their helpful thoughts on items. The downsides though is cleanliness in the dining area could use work - likely due to the limited staffing for a busy atmosphere. All items are cooked to order which means cooks are always occupied and busy, and the limited cashier/runner sometimes means ordering may take an extra moment which further limits opportunities to clear tables when patrons leave. More concerning though is the bathrooms - the men's bathroom has not had a functioning door for a few weeks now. It is off the hinges and while I am able to lift it to close behind me (being a single occupancy room) I have bumped into others (especially older) who are using the bathroom but we're unable to close the door. It's also even less clean than the dining area (again, likely due to limited staffing model the management has in place). Overall, if you don't mind a short food wait (typically 5-10 min, again due to prepared to order) you'll likely be satisfied with the experience as everything does appear and taste fresh. I hope they can expand their opportunities for cleaning but most importantly that they can fix the bathroom door - it's a danger and could be a potential hazard if someone tries to close but harms themselves in doing so! read more

This was our first time visiting, and unfortunately, it didn't leave a great impression. When we walked in, we weren't greeted--just glanced at by the staff, who then went back to what they were doing. We spent quite a while looking over the menu, but no one offered to assist us. When we were ready to order, we stood by what appeared to be the register, but no one approached. Eventually, we moved to the other side, and only after completing several to-go orders did a staff member come over. Ironically, he mentioned the register we had originally been standing at was the correct one--but no one had told us that. We ordered the Drunken Noodles with shrimp instead of chicken and tried to order the hot and sour soup, only to be told it's no longer available. If that's the case, it should really be removed from the menu to avoid confusion. As for the food, it was just okay. The sauce on the noodles was spicy but overly sweet, and the noodles themselves were undercooked and chewy. Overall, this experience left a lot to be desired, and I don't see myself returning. read more

Employees didn't smile, weren't overly friendly, and just looked like they would rather be a million other places than working at Pei Wei. In addition, when I retrieved spoons from what was supposed to be the clean silverware bin, they were dirty and covered with bits of food. Absolutely disgusting. Suggest employees inspect the silverware after washing, and if not clean run another cycle. read more

Those drunken noodles just did not give me the joy that the pad thai has in the past. My full order was the 6 chicken pot stickers ($7) steamed, but hy the time they made it to my table, they were barely warm. The drunken noodles came in burning hot off the grill, but it was drenched in sauce, and it just did not work for me. The flavors were just not rocking out for me. Second visit to Pei Wei Asian kitchen. The employees were extremely friendly and knowledgeable in the product. The store offered. The restaurant was clean well organized and a pleasure to have our dinner in again ordered the honey seared chicken and Ramen noodles. It was very tasty so much so we brought an extra order home. They asked me to post a review, but gave me my $9 Asian salad without crunchy won ton noodles which is the main reason why I pay $9 for an "Asian" salad. Not a big deal, but it's my favorite ingredient and I know I should've checked before leaving... but they asked me to write a review so... Epically disappointed, most likely won't be back. Pei wei is usually my place to go for some Chinese food. It's always good and fresh but today it was ridiculous. Not only was the broccoli and half my chicken not cooked but everything was so spicy that every bite you needed a drink or something to cool your mouth off with. I've been to a few Pei Weis now and this is the one by which I judge the others. It's a little bit newer than the ones in the area so the layout is updated and feels open and roomy. This location gets super crowded during the weekday lunch rush. They do not offer a Disney discount. I think the price is very high for what you are getting. As far as the food tastes, I prefer Panda Express. The rice is very dry but the cauliflower rice doesn't quite hit the mark. My favorite thing is the sushi. It's the closest to authentic food they have. The pad thai is standard. Every time I've ordered the chicken, something has been wrong. It's rough to chew and feels like it's low quality. But even though all of that is how I feel, it's a conveninent place to get lunch with lots of options and I appreciate that you get points for every visit via the app. read more
