Clean, spacious location in downtown Celebration. It's a really nice location with a plethora of tables. The price is a bit steep compared to other thai restaurants but the quality, portion size, and flavors for the main dishes makes it okay. We got the Taste of Asia appetizer for the table to share- a few people noted that the rangoon was a standout since it had a lot of flavor not just cream cheese. I liked the vegetable dumpling complemented with the brown vinegary sauce. The medium khao soi curry dish made me miss northern Thailand very much. We visited for our honeymoon in 2018 and it came close to the khao soi dish we ate in Chiang Mai! My mother in law had the pad thai with shrimp and was very pleased with the flavor, spice level and the size of the plate. The Thai tea was also spot on and not too sweet or too milky. I really wanted to order a soup since I am a huge fan of tom kha gai and tom yum but i could not justify the $9+ price point. read more

Both had a weird aftertaste, really lacked flavor, and the veggies tasted old They did give big portions--the containers were packed--but it kinda sucks to have a lot of something that doesn't taste good. I just had some amazing Thai food in the DC area and was looking for a local spot. This place was Only a few miles from my work place and ordered red curry and a Thai tea for lunch. The Thai tea was actually really good, a little on the sweeter side but still good. It's hard to find a good Thai tea. A lot of places try it but the brew just either isn't sweet enough or the ratio to milk and tea if off. The red curry was also delicious and the eggplant really soaked up the flavor well. Highly recommend for the curry and Thai tea! read more

And they brought it, no questions asked. It was a little salty for me but still tasty. Next we ordered the Taste of Asia appetizer platter. Contained fried pot stickers, crab Rangoon & spring rolls. Asked host if we could sit outside before doing so (i.e. he knew we were there) yet we still waited over 15 minutes before our order was taken. When the food arrived everyone's rice was like a hockey puck, everyone's meat was overcooked, and everyone's vegetables were massively undercooked to the point of nearly being raw. It's not an exaggeration to say none of the veg could possibly have seen more than 30 seconds of heat. And that includes vegetables such as carrots which were obviously still rock hard after so little cooking. I'm honestly baffled how the meat could be overcooked but the vegetables so badly undercooked. That's a first, particularly when eating at $50+/person restaurants. And to make matters worse, the seasoning in the dishes wasn't balanced with too much of some spices (mainly salt) and not enough of others. Honestly, this felt like one of those situations where one of the cooks is a no-show and a dish washer gets put on the line. And back to the poor service, we were never asked if we wanted any additional drinks after the first ones. Seriously, that shouldn't happen in any restaurant but it's inexcuseable in a restaurant serving spicy food where customers are going to need extra drinks. Lastly, this is the first Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at (and I've eaten at many) that charges extra for rice with the entrees. So, after all the unpleasant surprises already experienced from the bad service and poorly cooked food, we were met with another unexpected one on the bill. You have a wide array of restaurant choices within a 2 square block radius in downtown Celebration. Do yourself a favor and walk just a few more seconds to visit one of the others instead. read more

My family and I came in for my birthday dinner and were treated to a delicious meal. The location is right in the center of Celebration, so you can walk around the area after dining here. Loved the decor, and even the menus were beautiful. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, including vegan beef, chicken, and mock duck. I ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup with vegan beef. The food was amazing, and the Tom Yum broth was the perfect combo of sweet and sour. Of course, I had a Thai tea with my meal, which was also just right. Our server was incredibly sweet and gave prompt service. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were good. We stopped by after a long day in the park. I loved the location of this restaurant, in a quiet street filled with small family owned boutiques, bakeries and shops. I honestly don't usually do takeaway, but we couldn't resist this time we had to have those leftovers. The curry rice was spectacular with the freshest vegetables ever! The chicken pad kapraw was also super flavorful and savory, I could eat that all day. I also ordered the honeydew boba tea with the tapioca pearls, which were made fresh and had a 15 minute wait. The honeydew was a bit too sweet for me but the tapioca was really delicious and authentic. I did not mind the wait, because the tapioca was so great and if you give me boba before my meal I will chug it before the food even arrives, this was delivered as we were getting ready to sign the check, perfect timing to-go. The hostess and bartender immediately greeted us upon entry, and service was both prompt and friendly throughout the meal. Never once did I have to ask for anything, including water refills. The furniture and decor are stunning, and the restaurant itself is quite spacious. The food is easily the best Thai food I have ever had, and I have heard wonderful things about the chef from others as well. I recommend the sizzling duck, lychee martini, and mango sticky rice. It was late, I was tired and wanted Thai food. So I came here to yelp and typed in Thai food near me and Thai Channi celebration was suggested. everyone at the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming. I came in later, so there was no line and it wasn't busy at all. The menu seemed to have many selections of interesting dishes, many of which I was familiar with a few that I was not. I chose one of my favorites, Penang curry medium spicy with chicken. After I ordered, I was brought water and enjoyed the very large Buddha in the restaurant in many other lovely artifacts of Thai culture. my food arrived and it was a beautiful presentation. The Penang curry sauce was wonderfully flavored and had lots of chicken and vegetables. I asked for it medium spicy and it came through perfectly. I was also served a plate of brown rice and added a little bit of the brown rice to the curry and before long I realized I was just eating too fast. I was really enjoying the food. Thai seemed like the best option, and this restaurant was not far from us. We did not expect to find as lovely as a gem as we did! The restaurant is gorgeous - impeccable attention to detail with the decor. The food was honestly some of the best Thai I have ever had, and they served VERY generous portions. I had a hard time keeping my husband off my leftovers! Also to note, my vegan friend was still not expecting to have a ton of options. Thai Thani, located in the heart of Downtown Celebration, offers a unique and inviting atmosphere, blending traditional Thai relics and intricately carved cultural sculptures with a modern, cozy feel. The space is very clean and comfortable, and they even have a private elevated seating area where you can sit on cushions at the table--perfect for private parties of up to 20 people. There's also a bar up front if you just want to stop in for a drink. We've only had lunch here so far, but we love it--the service is always top-notch. Today, we tried the Curry Fried Rice, Pad Thai, and Drunken Noodles, both ordered with medium spice. I really appreciated that they offer extra chili spice at the table if you want to turn up the heat a little more on your own. The lunch special came with a vegetable spring roll and sweet and sour sauce. We also got the Thai tea, which was strong, sweet, and satisfying. For dessert, the Fried Cheesecake with chocolate syrup reminded me of a funnel cake paired with creamy cheesecake--it was so indulgent. Next time, I'm definitely going to try their authentic Mango and Sticky Rice. Lastly, the Tom Kha soup was a standout! The creamy coconut base with tart flavors was a perfect balance. Thai thani is the sweetest restaurant with beautiful outdoor patio seating. Clean, great service. Ask for the server, James! He's the best. So kind. Food is impeccable and made to order. They offer MANY vegan options and dairy free dishes for those concerned about allergy friendly options. I totally recommend the duck jacuzzi ($25, but we didn't get that this time, see photos). Be warned, due to the cuisine (thai) using peanuts in many forms, if you're allergic to peanuts, you should probably not consider eating here. That said, I can't recommend this local spot enough. It's well-themed and designed inside, clean restrooms, and well-air conditioned; however my pup and I just eat outside on the patio underneath umbrella. They have window service for bubble tea. Meals are good portions. You'll spend about $30-$35 person here for a meal, an appetizer, a drink, and the tip. I'll add photos of my most recent meal- pork Thai Thani pad Thai and vegan summer rolls with teriyaki. So so good! The rolls are so fresh. You can taste the quality in the ingredients used - the lettuce is crisp and the carrots CRUNCH. The server (James) brought my puppy some water in a bowl and refilled it multiple times to be sure she was well taken care of. It warmed my heart. This place has train and horse carriage ride outside. While my family rode the ride my other daughter and I asked to sit in the outside patio area and grab a drink and snack. The host said he would have someone out to serve us. The 20 minute train ride came and went and no one came out to service us so we left. We really liked that they had Virgin Cocktails (mock tails) especially since we're on a trip for a substance abuse prevention conference. We also loved that in the restroom they had Bath & Body Works soap! Everyone loves the smell of a good soap. Only downfall was the service. The server was nice but got us our water after the appetizers so we had nothing to wash them down. The mojitos were given to us by the time we had our entrees. Great little Thai place in the heart of Celebration, FL. I made the mistake of forgetting to ask if it was gluten free before ordering (my bad) and had a minor reaction, so I'm pretty sure it was at least cross-contaminated. However... the garlic meat (chicken) was absolutely DELICIOUS. It was a little disappointing when I asked for extra broccoli and I got a whopping 4 total florets... so I guess what it comes with is 2? I fully expected to pay for the extra... The one other thing I wished was that the gal at the front would have asked if I wanted to-go or dine in. I was tired, hungry & all I said when I got there when she asked if I was picking up was "I need to order food." ‍ I would have liked to sit there at the bar or outside since the weather was so nice... but it felt weird when they gave me my stuff in a go bag, so I walked a few doors down & found a set of tables nobody was at & sat there. Not horrid but poorly lit so it was hard to see what I was eating. Taste is for sure worth 5 stars... experience overall could have been better. read more

Came here in a Sunday afternoon for lunch. I recommend sitting outside when the weather is nice, there's people walking by and you can hear music from down the street but it's not loud at all so you can enjoy yourself as you talk amongst your group. They have umbrellas to protect from the sun so great shade. I got the mai tai drink paired with calamari to start and the mixture of both were well paired to start. The drink is sweet and the mixture of raspberry, blueberry, strawberry and orange all combine to give a really flavorful drink and the rum used was just right, you can really taste it lol, definitely recommended. The calamari were really good with the sauce. They didn't serve too many so you can eat them by yourself or share with one other person. They were nice and crispy. Without the sauce the octopus taste can be overbearing for some people. I went with the pad Thai with shrimp, medium spicy. It was notable and filling but I've had from different locations where the flavor was a bit more enhanced and lasting. My cousin had the pad Thai with beef and he said it had not flavor at all. What a little gem. We chatted with one of the servers and asked to be walked through the best non-traditional items on the menu and we were not disappointed. The food is amazingly fantastic, the service is honestly... pretty dang awesome. The overall environment is chill and would be a excellent spot to take a family or have a casual but fun date night. If I had a complaint, we ordered too much food and we had to take leftovers. And remember to save room for desert - The mango sticky rice is epic. While staying outside Disney, I ordered the food here using Uber Eats. We ordered crab rangoons, Pad Thai with chicken and Pad See Ew. The rangoon were a little small and bland. Glad I ordered two orders of them but there were flavorless. The chicken pad Thai was delicious. Balanced flavor wise and was the best meal out of the three Beef Pad See Ew was also good.
