It's about time I wrote a review here for the frequent visits over the years, and this locally owned Chinese American restaurant deserves higher ratings. The food quality has improved over time and they're all super friendly. Located right before Celebration in the Publix plaza. Not only is the food good, but the service is fast and friendly. Any time I place an order the quote time has been consistently around 15 minutes and they always have it ready within the quoted timeframe. Their food always tastes freshly made, and they really know how to cook their meats and vegetables perfectly. Their food has never tasted greasy or recycled like other competitors. They have plenty of healthier options and substitutions as well, and can accommodate your dietary needs. Price point is fair for the area, and I do recommend their fried rice. read more

Came in for To go, but decided to dine in. Got their lunch special shrimp with lobster sauce and $1 more for egg roll. I ordered more lunch specials to go as I waited for my dine in food. First of all...very small portion with 4 small shrimp ( 4 is unlucky # in Chinese) the taste was so bland that I got up and got soy sauce from another table and the lady was very nice to bring me hot chili oil. Well.... That made it little better, but I was so hungry I forced myself to eat it. The egg roll was good nothing special. My to go came as I was finishing my lunch. I decided to open each box to taste because restaurants can have a bad day... hunan beef and fried rice bland again, pork Lo mein ( good) , General Tso ( mediocre), hot and sour soup tastes like hot water with a hint of vinegar. This Chinese restaurant has been around for ages, and the family that runs it deserves all the credit there is. They treat their regulars so well without expecting extra payment or recognition in return - often we'll find a mystery addition of egg rolls, dumplings, soup, or fried rice in our to-go orders. And if they catch us walking to and from the grocery store, the staff even greet us by name! The quality of the food has always been great regardless of whether we're eating in or picking up a to-go order. Last time, we bought dinner portions of chicken & broccoli, garlic roasted eggplant, and sesame chicken for about $40, which is pretty average pricing. What really set the order apart was the eggplant though! I've seen several places serve similar vegetarian dishes with similar flavors; however, they only serve it fried. I like this variation much better! While there AC seemed to be out when we walked past the restaurant last time, there are usually lots of tables and booths available inside for patrons. There's also plenty of parking in the area for the adjacent stores and restaurants. Even though lots of places have come and gone around it, Le China has lasted for a reason! Le China is the Chinese restaurant that is good, but not great and fairly expensive. They have really good steamed dumplings, I get them every time I go. I also enjoy the Singapore Noodles - they are always fresh, include a great amount of protein, including shrimp. Today, we also got the Teriyaki Chicken and Bourbon Chicken. Neither were very good. Very bland overall flavor and dry chicken. I wouldn't recommend either. The menu is quite big, I'm sure there are more options that are good, just not those. read more

About 3 hours after eating my sister got severely ill with symptoms of food poisoning and had to be taken to ER the next morning for I V fluids, IV anti-spasmodics to calm the cramping and IV anti-nausea and antibiotics to cover common bacteria causing intestinal irritation. Don't believe the poor reviews. This is a legit American Chinese restaurant. Their egg drop soup and hot and sour soup is one of the best I've ever had. This is coming from an Asian American that grew up on fast food. Ordered their shrimp and lobster and their sauce was flavorful and on point. This never happened so I have no idea what I was charged for my food. The Orange chicken dish had small chunks of mostly bread with hardly any chicken inside the breading. The Singapore noodles weren't coated with very much seasoning. I usually don't like to complain about anything in life but I wanted to give a review of this restaurant to help customers make a wise decision on whether or not to order food from this restaurant. We moved from Miami to Davenport five years ago. We have tried different Chinese places around us and Le China is the only one we trust for fresh and well-cooked food. Their fried rice (special) is great and plentiful for two. The beef Shechuan is exquisite without being too spicy. Needless to say that the honey garlic chicken is among our favorites. I would have rated Le China higher but the base sauce for the shrimp with Chinese vegetables and chicken Szechuan was very sweet much like a teriyaki sauce. The entrees came with a good amount of shrimp, chicken and vegetables but the sweetness of the sauce ruined what could have been a great meal. In addition, the Szechuan chicken which should have been spicy was not spicy at all which made the sweetness of the sauce stand out that much more. The wonton and sweet and sour soups were good. I recently moved to Celebration and of course the first thing you do when moving to a new town isn't find out where the closest hospital is, it is to find a Chinese restaurant that delivers to you. It turns out Le China is two miles from my apt. This was my first time ordering from them and even though the woman bringing my food had trouble finding me it was still here in under 30 minutes which is pretty amazing considering I ordered a pizza that took over an hour. I ordered some of my favorites, Beef Lo Mein, Pork Fried rice with no peas (I hate peas), Sweet and Sour Chicken with the sauce on the side and an order of Shrimp and Broccoli which I asked for in Garlic Sauce even though it wasn't on the menu. My order came exactly as I asked for it and was still very hot on arrival. The only dish I wasn't really happy with but was still acceptable was the Shrimp and Broccoli. The shrimp were pretty small compared to what I am used to. Otherwise it was ok. They even nailed the not-so-spicy I asked for. My only complaint is that they used Styrofoam containers for the chicken as well as the white and fried rice. They Lo Mein and the Shrimp and Broccoli came in the much more durable and reusable plastic containers. I would definitely order from them again. read more

I live locally and this is my go to spot for Chinese Food. The Bourbon Chicken is amazing and I highly recommend it. Sometimes when they're busy (which is often, tons of mobile delivery orders), there's a bit of a wait. Be patient and kind. They seem to have shifted to a takeout/delivery only model but that's fine considering most Chinese Food orders are to go anyways. My only critique would be to improve the seating area where people wait for their order.
