New Owners since approx. Feb. 2026. The prices went up and the food is oily and bland. They changed the menu, removed certain staples. Oh, and check your receipts carefully because they double charge for items. I'm sure it's to make their customers pay for the renovations they did. I ordered a quart of chicken with garlic sauce for around $11 on 12/31/20 for my family. I was very displeased with the portion size. I was expecting the white quart sized Chinese take out container but instead, it was a white plastic rectangular container, the kind of container used for the lunch menu. I asked the employee about the size of the container. He told me that it was a quart- 32 oz. When I got home , I weighed and measured the 'quart' sized portion that I received. Well, wish I would have stuck to my regular place. I ordered from them for the first time and went with my usual chicken and snow peas. I honestly thought they sent me the wrong dish of chicken with mixed vegetables. I got chicken with carrots, water chestnuts, celery, bok, snow peas. This was my take out choice for years until yesterday when I saw the young staff members sitting at a table cutting up green beans. There was no cloth/plastic on the table, one of the young men was using his cell phone with his left hand while going back and forth to picking up green beans and cutting them. Typical Chinese take out, however, Peking Kitchen seems to be the best in the general area. First time trying this place. We were told the delivery would be 40 mins, after almost an hour I finally called to see where the food was. They told me it was on its way. Another 20 minutes later the food arrived only for the driver to forget to deliver one of the bags. Went there with the family for a quick dinner and I regret it! Shredded pork in garlic sauce was so terrible that I couldn't eat it - didn't taste like garlic sauce at all. My son got the shrimp in garlic sauce which tasted fine - mine tasted like a tomato sauce base.
