I ordered takeout for 4 people on a holiday weekend and they got everything right. It's hard to rate the quality of the food because we didn't get to eat it for several hours, and you know how that goes. But everyone was happy with their meal and the price was very reasonable. I don't do this often, but going from 2 to 5 on Peking Garden. Mostly in just the past 2 years , we have Been ordering delivery from Peking Garden and they have been spot on. Their pricing on the menu items is a point lower than the others and their delivery is far faster than others. Last night I get the vegetable fried rice which was a meal in itself in a little white box but it was stuffed with snow peapods broccoli carrots and rice and was fantastic. Have never been here and didn't want to based on reviews I read. But a friend stopped to pick up some pork fried rice and wonton soup for me since I was not feeling well. I told them not to but they did anyway which was a very nice gesture. Well, it was one of the worst tasting fried rice I have had anywhere and the wonton soup was no better. Just tasted like plain water with the wontons in it and the meat inside had a weird taste. Also, the vegetables in the fried rice seemed fresh and also had a weird taste. This my go-to delivery place. Service is fast, orders are usually correct (they'll make it up to you if it's not) and the food is good. Nice variety but nothing unusual. Probably order from them a couple of times a month. Won tons and fried dumplings are favorites. read more

Our go-to local Chinese delivery place is apparently not open on Tuesdays which is peculiar, so we tried Peking Garden. The prices were reasonable, portions were great (we obliterated the chicken-on-stick appetizer!), delivery time was spot-on; however, my biggest complaint has to be that the guy who brought our order to my front door had neither a mask nor gloves on; not terribly safe with all the guidelines that should be in place, and made me uncomfortable. read more

Their food is consistently tasty, if they make a mistake, they're quick to rectify it, the service is efficient and polite, and the delivery times are quick. I'm disappointed I don't know if this was because they were about to close when I placed the order online. I ordered a few things and honestly I'm not going to lie I thought the servings would be a little larger. I think the things the bothered me the worse were the lo mein noodles which had a funny taste; kinda of like if you cook ramen noodles too long and they get real soggy and slimy. The bourbon chicken I know varies but I didn't expect that at all. I literally came home fixed our plates none of us ate all are food. I was in the mood for Chinese so I figure I would stop by this spot for lunch. We all make mistakes sometimes. When you walk in it feels like a converted subway. Luckily, they made it feel authentic by adorning the walls with 4 small pictures of asian flowers...really makes you feel like you walked into the motherland. When I walked up to the counter, I chose the sesame chicken, in the words of the knight from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade..I chose Poorly. I have never eaten dog or cat meat, but I can imagine that this is what it would taste like since it was as far from chicken as you can get. The side of rice had little flavor and the egg roll was bland. At least the Sprite I had with it was tasty. Lunch is cheap, but there is a reason why. If you like Chinese, seek food elsewhere. read more

Honestly in this area this is the best Chinese food you are going to get. Their egg rolls are amazing a long with the egg drop soup and i actually like the sesame chicken and the Mongolian chicken is great!! if you want it spicy you should ask though because its kind of sweet. I have been ordering from this place since i was 13 and im 20 now and have never had 1 bad experience with them. Picking up or delivery they have always been consistent and they always give me a new wooden Chinese calendar every year either in one of my deliveries or if i ask for one when i pick up free ! its the little things that matter to me. read more

I'm giving it a 3 star because well... the quality of food is what you would expect from a Chinese take-out. Most times I have been here the food was really good. Today was not one if those days. I should stick with the soup and egg rolls or at the least avoid what I ordered today. I had the beef and broccoli lunch with hot and sour soup. The soup was right on the money as always. The beef and broccoli was bland. If one simply sticks to the soup and sides for lunch it is a great deal and usually very good. I'll be going back again because this was the first time I've been unhappy with the food. read more

I was a food kridik for over 25 years, I have been retired now for about ten years. I have traveled all over the world eating at meny 1-5 star restaurants. Even though most of my work was in the sates, I became a big lover of Chinese food. However I ordered two dishes for myself and my great grand son that's about to have his first child. With in an hour of eating our meal we both found our selfs offer a toilet For about an hour giving it back. Latter that night we both gave it back in a other ways... (Out the other end). After that night we ware both sike for a little over three days. When we went to the doctor the after the second day what told us we had food poisoning. My great grand son and I looked at one another and said that Chinese food. (We know it had to be that being that we could not eat or drink sence that night.) The doctor sent us home with a few medications to help us get over it. I give this a big fat F. I will never order form them again. Thank you to those who take great care to my warning. read more
