Every Sunday after church, my best friend and her husband and I like to eat here after church. The servers treat you like family and the food is delicious! I also like to order a meal to go for work the next day. Not only will they pack you your order, but they also give you a spring roll and a fortune cookie in your order. What can I say? If I could give a negative 1 star review I would because this is absolutely disgusting. I found a piece of metal , looks to be of maybe a nose or something piercing but I had purchased a chicken hibachi and I saved the rest for later. Purchased this on Saturday and tried to eat leftover on Sunday. I bit into a piece of broccoli and it had something very hard so I took it out and looked at it. I never knew I loved sushi or sashimi til I first tried it at wasabi and the owners Sam and Jasmine are THE BEST at making their customers feel like guests in their own home. Always happy and smiling when you come in and even goes out of their way to drop off an order of monkey brain (stuffed fried avocado) delicious! Or edamame at your table sometimes. They've got the freshest sushi and top chefs that have been with them for years! Their menu isn't large enough to list everything they offer. Called in an order of vegetable lo mein. A co-worker picked up on lunch break. The lo mein comes with carrots, zucchini, snap peas, mushrooms, onions, cabbage, water chestnuts and broccoli. I love the variety of veggies but I would have been just as satisfied with two veggies and a whole order of lo mein. I'm a little confused as to why my vegetable lo mein dish is 55% fried rice. Why do I need fried rice when I'm eating vegetable lo mein? I never seen that before and was expecting a full plate of what I ordered. Maybe their menus description should be updated to inform. That alone took my rating down one star. Loved the Crab Rangoon. Nice crispy outside and the crab inside tasted awesome! Well done. Spring Roll was pretty good too. I'll try the place again since it has overall good ratings. Maybe next time I'll order something different or ask for a full plate of veggie lo mein! THIS IS REAL SUSHI! My absolute favorite sushi spot in my area. I cannot stress this enough they don't give you small, skimpy, barely-there rolls. They give you the wholeeeee meal! Not to mention the flavor is impeccable. Shout out the sushi chef who makes these rolls he does not skip out on ANYTHINGGG. As well as the servers there are so sweet and kind. They even remember their regulars even if they haven't come in for MONTHS. I'd have to say this will forever be my favorite spot to have sushi. The day this place closes down is the day I die. Let's get the bad part over first. The service was practically nonexistent. We had to leave the table in search of everything needed. One Asian waitress was sitting at a table playing on her cell phone device at a distractingly loud volume and the other was seated at the sushi bar engulfed in a conversation with another woman. They could not care less about the actual customers. The food was, although quite expensive, very good. Again, we had to chase someone down for all condiments or take-home boxes, checks, etc. They had some poor blonde girl doing ALL the work. Felt sorry for her. The restaurant was nearly empty at the peak of the lunch hour, but they seemed to be doing a robust takeout business. Overall: not such a great place to dine in, especially to take a guest or date. I use to love this place.I would go there pretty often never have I had a problem until today I ordered chicken fried rice and I found a hair in my food! I thought maybe I'm just being dramatic but then I found another one ! On my noodles with shrimp I was so sad because i was hungry and had to throw it away , I called the place back and told them how I am a regular customer and I always tip very well even if I ordered to go and he told me "it was a bean sprout " and said there was nothin he can do ! So I insisted in getting my money back not because I am a Karen but because why should I pay for something that I didn't eat , ? I wish 0 star reviews were a thing. Almost a year ago my husband got raw sushi and got food poisoning for the 2 following days. Last night I though getting cooked sushi would be safe and I couldn't have been more wrong. We haven't eaten there since my husband got sick and thought I would give it another go with something that wasn't raw. We called them to discuss it and they refuse to give a refund saying "it's their most popular sushi items, that no one ever complains" which I find hard to believe no one else in this year has gotten sick and we were the only ones to, two times in a row. read more

My wife went to this location about 2-3 weeks ago. We love spicy tuna rolls and unagi (eel). It should be noted that we eat sushi often and this was our first time trying this restaurant. To play it safe we chose to just get spicy tuna rolls. Utterly ridiculous! The rolls just had what I guess was tuna, no cucumber, no spicy mayo. What made it worse was that it was lukewarm. Wasabi does the trick if you're craving simple Chinese food. I got the bourbon chicken lunch meal and my mom got the General Tso's chicken meal. The meal comes with a choice of soup, spring roll, and a crab rangoon. Mom got eggdrop and I got wonton soup. The soup was great! I was not too enthused with my bourbon chicken meal though. Very basic and lacked flavor. The rice is sticky and good, vegetables are basic, and the spring roll taste like one you would get out of a frozen meal box. My mom enjoyed her meal so it seems like I may have just ordered the wrong thing. I'm sure we will be back so I'll try something new next time. We so wanted to love it....as we are always on the look out for a good restaurant in the area of our marina.....got edamame, beef and broccoli and a wasabi roll.
