The food was excellent! We ended up at Peking Garden on a Sunday evening as all other Chinese food locations were closed. At first I was taken back at the presentation for the Buffet. It did not present itself well but after carefully choosing my portions, I sat down to pure delight. Nothing tasted bad at all, in fact probably some of the best tasing Chinese food I have had in a long time. Food is always fresh and tasty. Waitstaff is one person. Various young women. Always kind and considerate they are. Very nice. Please tip well. The. Food and service are excellent. A quiet place. A relaxing place to eat. I go there often. I soak my egg rolls in their sweet and sour soup. And place a few noodles in the soup too. Almost like Pho in a strange way. We have always loved their food... but tonight we ordered it from door dash and it was all wrong... Just really pitiful!! For 3 people almost 50$ and the food was terrible! I had specifically asked for Steamed rice in 3 different places , my husband is allergic to onions.. and guess what we got.. fried rice.. my husband ordered Sesame chicken.. I have had it there many times .. what he got tonight was NOT sesame chicken!! It was SS chicken that someone literally sprinkled sesame seeds on!! Not cool! Rude Rude Rude...... went in to get carryout buffet about 30 minutes before closing they give a box and a bowl, I usually get soup in the bowl but tonight the soup did not look all that great so i stuck some rice in there and went to put sauce on it, blonde lady proceeded to treat me like a child and read me the right act about how bowls are for soup. I've not lived in Neosho for over 20 years. When I was younger this was the best place around to get Cashew Chicken. I was in town visiting family and thought I would try it again for old time sakes. Of course I ordered the Cashew Chicken and the Fried Rice. I was somewhat disappointed that what used to be great now is just ok. The chicken was bland and it didn't have the kick it used to. The restaurant itself didn't seem to be as clean and well kept as I remember. With all the restaurants in town now I'll probably go try somewhere else next time. read more

This place does doordash and the dashers are no longer allowed to check orders due to COVID. They forgot an item. I called to see if I could get it. My husband went inside to get a buffet to go for him and my mother in law. I had to order my food in the drive through because the dish wasn't on the buffet anymore due to "high cost of chicken and spices". Got my food home and it tasted like cardboard. Didn't eat but one piece of chicken. My husband took it back to get our money refunded and the guy got all defensive saying all sales are final. He actually got so mad because my husband was truthful about how it tasted that he threatened my husband and he also threatened me when I called to ask why we couldn't have a refund. $17.50 for jalapeno chicken dinner, 1 order ream cheese Rangoon, and a small side of rice is absolutely outrageous!! Just want to warn everyone that these people have absolutely no business ethics at all and they absolutely don't know how to handle criticism because that was the worse I or my husband have ever been treated at a "restaurant. This is the best Chinese food in Neosho. Yes, Oriental House is bigger, but Peking Garden has the best Cashew Chicken (Springfield, MO style), the best hot and sour soup and the friendliest service. I'd give them 5 stars, but they really need to update their decor. I laugh every time I see the painting of Southwestern desert cacti left over from when the building housed Juan's--over 20 years ago. read more

This place is fabulous!!!! Great buffet, first time there and I tried a bit of everything and I gotta say everything was surprisingly good and seasoned to perfection. This restaurant is under new ownership and you will not find a better tasting Chinese buffet anywhere. It is off the beaten path and will not disappoint.
