I seriously don't know how this place has the reviews that it has. Is it because this is the only Chinese restaurant in the area? I had it many years ago and thought it pretty bad back then. My husband wanted to try it, so we had it the other night. It was so bad that I threw most of my dinner away. We dined in and the service was quick. Maybe we're just used to better Chinese food a county or two over but this was quite possibly the worst I've had in a long time. I ordered the Szechuan Shrimp and Chicken. My husband had the Kung Pao Chicken. We both got Wonton Soup, as well. The soup was passable. The broth was bland and the wonton dumpling was thick, while the filling small. The pork filling was heavy on the soy sauce and sugar. The strong taste of ketchup is what stood out in both of our main dishes. Especially mine. Like soy sauce, ketchup and sugar had been mixed together. And while I understand that the broccoli and some other veggies are blanched earlier and then reheated in the stir fry - our veggies were ice cold. Literally so cold that they were cooling off our steaming entrees. It made the food cold quickly. Between the off putting ketchup taste and the food turning cold from the cold veggies - I ended up throwing out most of my food. I won't be returning. read more

They have a multitude of dishes to choose from and they are all great. So, here we are again. Every single day I get a text from my kids, asking, cane go to pecking today? I got the hot and spicy chicken with fried rice for $13, added miso soup. Ordering takeout was the recommendation i went with, had no problem walkin in and picking up the food. Chow time! They surprised me with an egg roll, and those crispy chips. The food tho was really good, great portion, I was stuffed. The soup wasn't bad but prob would skip it next time. We got carry out and the food was fantastic! The sesame chicken had the perfect amount of spice.

We were looking for a quick service Chinese restaurant to order food from for a picnic in the park. (Or usual place was located too far away from the park we were at.) Food was ready when promised. Everything remained hot while driving from the restaurant to the park. Large potions. Most containers were bulging with food. Main dishes also came with white rice. My children loved the sesame chicken. So much so, that I never got to try any. My favorite was the vegetable lo mein. Noodles and vegetables were not overcooked, or over sauced. Lemon sauce served with the lemon chicken was more sweet than lemony. The bed of lettuce the chicken was served on was soaked with oil, and the bottom of the tempura breading was soggy. While I appreciated that it was white meat chicken, the dish was disappointing. Chicken and assorted vegetables had a balanced chicken to vegetable ratio. General Tso's chicken tasted like General Tso's chicken. We had pleanty of food for leftovers. read more

I absolutely love the food here! That being said, I went yesterday to pick up lunch that I called in. When I got there I noticed the cashier was sick. She was very congested and I could tell by looking at her that she was pretty sick. 24 hours later and now I am starting to feel bad. I hope no one else was affected by her. Pretty sure this is the best take out Chinese food i've ever had! The crab rangoon and sauce was perfect and a large portion for the price. The Hunan beef was more than enough for two people and was high quality veggies as well as meat. It came with excellent pork fried rice and a good egg roll as part of the meal special. I have lived and visited all over the world, and after trying other local places my expectations were low! Boy was I shocked and surprised! This place is out of this world!! Egg rolls are crispy and full, Wonton soup just the right spices and General Tso chicken is not spicy at all!! Which for me is fantastic. If you like spicy, you may want request to have it extra spicy but I can't eat spicy at all, so it was perfect!!! This is my new favorite place. I won't order from any place else!! The portions are huge!!! I easily have dinner and lunch from one meal. I upgraded to fried rice for $1 and they give you a whole pint of fried rice! Other places give one container that has the entree and side in one but Peking gives you one container just for the entrees. My General Tso was all chicken and veggies sparingly whereas other spots give you all veggies and barely any chicken. Basic Chinese carry out fare. The service is fast after you call an order in, and the food is pretty decent when you're craving Chinese. Don't expect it to be the caliber of what you'd find on the West Coast or Hawaii, but decent for Ohio. read more

New to the area and have ordered from here a few times and have also ate there once. It's a pretty decent Chinese food place, especially around here. I don't really care for their chowmein (sp?) but everything else is pretty good. Pretty good I pricing too! I had my in-laws & brother/sister + kids all at my house one weekend, we ordered 6 entrees & (came with a bunch of rice) and a few appetizers. She didn't tell me the price over the phone but when I went to pick it up it was only $45!! And she threw in a thing of cream cheese wontons for free! The reason why this place isn't a 5 is because although the food is great the lady who runs the place isn't the friendliest. Doesn't welcome you, say thank you when you tip her, or say good bye. But that won't stop me from trying to get some type of reaction out of her. Regardless it's a pretty good place for take-out, especially around here. read more

Largely cut vegetables made the meal rather hard to eat without a knife and fork. It was pretty good for a hole-in-the-wall chinese place though. There wasnt very much chicken in my entree but it was still satisfying. Id return if I am passing through but I wouldnt go out of my way to get it. I rate a solid 3 stars. The pricing was a bit expensive considering the amount of meat in the entrees and the dried/stale eggroll. They gave me some trouble about soy sauce but everything ended up working out. read more
