Love the food here but if you go after 7:30pm, don't expect the buffet to be refilled much. I think they wait to see how many people walk in, and then they put out one serving of everything. Most everything was crunchy or soggy from sitting out too long. read more

Reaffirming 2 stars. After a few years gave it another shot. They have added sushi and hibachi. The teriyaki hibachi was flavorless. The sushi was plain. The buffet was smaller. They still have waterlogged crab legs. The greenbeans were disgusting all wrinkled. They had several shrimp dishes on the buffet. Steak and pork dishes looked gross. Garlic bread swai fish and unknown choices. They need a yogurt machine for dessert. Blue bunny ice cream in packages doesnt cut it. Stay away. read more

We drive 63 miles just to eat at this restraunt. The food is always delicious and they stay consistent. The owners are the sweetest people they know myself and my husband everytime we walk through the door. The restraunt is always so clean the buffet is always the right temperature for what foods are on the bar! And did I tell ya the owners and staff are awesome. We, like most folks have been doing a bunch of carry out. I am usually not a huge fan of buffets, but this place also does made to order items. If you go this route, these people do a very nice job. Made fresh, spicy or mild, whatever you like. For Chinese carry out around Eastgate area, this place is very good. read more

We do love this Chinese buffet! The place has good food on the buffet some of whites actually really good and others are just ok. But over all we like it. Can get a little loud in there some times but what ya going to do. It also has take out so you can do that if that's your thing. read more

This Chinese buffet was ok. Nothing really special but probably not the worst one we've been to. The shopping plaza its in is a pretty old one so that makes you a bit nervous about the cleanliness of the place..but nothing we saw looked too rough. A rundown of the good and bad: The good: I thought the sesame chicken tasted pretty good, the chicken was crisp and the sauce was nice and sweet; the fried chicken wings tasted alright but maybe a bit dry; they had mozzarella sticks (?!?) on the buffet and they were surprisingly not bad at all. The bad: The sweet and sour chicken tasted funny, the outside was kind of crisp but once you bit past the breading the chicken itself was a bit too..solid?; the pork eggrolls were awful..they kind of tasted like feet (or what I would think feet would taste like). Two plates was about all we could handle. At $10.99 a person for dinner..it was a bit overpriced. Listen, it wasn't awful. If you go in there knowing what to expect you won't be disappointed. If you have a HUGE appetite the price should be well worth it as well. Personally, I don't really see any reason why we would go here again..but you know, if we were for some reason dragged here it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. We went near the end of 2021, it was $36 for two adults and two kids under 10. When we went last week (March 2022), it was $61. I know inflation is terrible right now but doubling the cost without having the same or better quality is unreasonable - also removing buffet items was a bad look with the heavy price increase. We went at peak lunch time on Sunday. They wasn't very busy. Maybe 15- 20 people in total. The chicken was dried out for all of the chicken entrees. The A1 steaks had amazing flavor but the steak was 90% chewy fat. The dumplings was amazing but I only got two because that's what was left in the pan and they never refilled them while we was there. The fried rice was delicious. The pork ribs was rancid, the flavor was weird this time and the 2 pieces I got was slimy fat slices that made me feel queasy. No meat whatsoever. Some menu items was gone, not empty, but that they didn't have them on the buffet any longer. The crab legs, the salmon, the General Tso, and there was the same 3 pieces of sushi sitting out from when we arrived to when we got dessert and left. A very lackluster selection now with nearly all of the items offered being side dishes. On the plus side of things, I love that they are still Covid cautious. There are gloves next to the plates so people can wear one for grabbing the spoons (not everyone did though) and they sat customers apart. They added Sriracha bottles to the tables now as well. Unfortunately, we won't be going back. It just wasn't worth the cost because of the buffet items no longer being offered, the entrees not being refilled, the chicken dishes being dried out, and the lack of options. It worked out to be $15.25 per person. The kids was probably less as is customary in restaurants, so maybe it was $20.25 per adult and $10.25 per kid. This didn't include the tip. It ended up being $70 for our family of 4 to have lunch at the buffet of side dishes. One of the fortune cookies was hilarious though, "Everyone wants to be a banker when they grow up but the end up losing interest". read more

I only order off menu usually, but buffet has a hibachi grill to make you a custom plate. Rest of the buffet is fair. To go orders are amazing, amount of food that nobody can finish. Health department violations are way below most Clermont county restaurants much less Chinese food while usually fails in a big way. read more

I would say that we had a great experience on a Saturday night. They have a good working website again, but , I know I sound dumb, I didn't see any indication of it being a sit down buffet online or pricing, so I did call to confirm and they were extremely prompt and polite on the phone. It was hardly busy for a Saturday night, but food was still well stocked and being actively monitored. Ready access at each station for gloves and hand sanitizer for use. It was good, the menu is somewhat lackluster but what they did have (and of what I ate) was good. I don't like that the buffet doesn't include the price of drinks. That seems like a gimmick to make this buffet appear cheaper than others when in reality it is about the same price with less selection. The place wasn't busy on a Saturday at lunch. They had one sushi area, small in size tucked away in the corner but I didn't try that because I feel sushi is the devil's work :) The buffet consisted of 3 rows with each side having their own food item. Some food tags (the little cards taped on the glass above the food that helps us identify what the heck we are looking at) was missing or misplaced. One row consisted of fruit and desserts. The other two was the lunch/dinner food. The honey chicken was very small and hard. The fried rice was phenomenal. The crab rangoon was cream cheese wontons. Maybe it was a case of a misplaced food card I talked about earlier but they were still delicious. The egg rolls was good with an exception of the vegetable one, it was bad. The chicken and broccoli (I assume that's what it was because of the abundance of broccoli but the card was gone so I am unsure), it was just bad because the broccoli was far too hard and way too large. I am one of those weirdos that like raw broccoli but this was huge cuts that, honestly, was borderline offensive. The pot stickers, the pork on a skewer stick, was good. Other chinese restaurants have better but it wasn't bad here. Just overcooked and needed a better sauce. The mushrooms was really good. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was great. My husband and our daughter liked the salmon but I didn't try it because I hate too fishy fish flavors. The desserts was our 2 kids favorite, of course. I think they probably tried one of everything with an exception of the weird slug looking jello-y banana thing they had. It was very unappealing looking sitting there sad while jiggling around on it's tray hoping someone would be wild enough to try it. So, my brave husband did and he immediately made a face. The little cup desserts was cute, our son liked the chocolate one but the strawberry didn't seem to go over well with either kid. I tried a small taste of one of theirs and noped it right back onto my daughters plate. The pairs was delicious. Overall, not a bad buffet but not the best. I'm honestly shocked that others haven't rated it as highly as I do. I came across them by chance while going to a store near it. I tried them for the first time last Monday and by Sunday I had aylte there a total of 3 times in one week! I LOVE my Chinese food, and so I'm always judgemental of certain dishes, and I can say without a doubt that they passed the test! Crab Rangoons? GREAT! Egg rolls? GREAT! Sweet and Sour Chicken? GREAT! Chicken on,a stick? GREAT and a large portion! Potstickers? Again, GREAT! The only thing unfortunate for me is that it's closer to my work than my home. I've also eaten there taking food to-go and I thought the pricing was phenomenal. The container I took home was piled with 2 egg rolls, 3 crab rangoons, 2 chicken on a stick, 3 pot stickers, 2 pieces of sweet and sour chicken and mai fun noodles and I only paid like $6.50. My brother in law has a rule about Mexican restaurants - if they have a Speedy Gonzales on the menu, he won't eat there. I had an equally dubious rule - if the Chinese buffet has a name like "China Buffet" I won't eat there. But after my horrific experience at the oh so authentic and differently name Rong Tan's the night before, I decided to take a chance that my theory might not apply. And indeed it did not apply. The Saturday Lunch Buffet is very reasonable 6.59. For that you get a wide selection of fruits, veggies, fried Chinese standards, stir fry type dishes, soups, sushi and dessert. They had a couple of dishes I had not had at other Chinese buffets, and some were actually spicy, a rarity at buffets. Many of the sauces were sweeter than other buffets I've frequented, and it made for a nice change. I might also account for the larger than average number of families eating there (that or the wait at Chuck E Cheese's next door was too long.) The severs were friendly and efficient. Add a hibachi or Mongolian grill and it will be my main buffet on the East Side. read more

Really pretty gross. I went at an off hour, DO NOT go at an off hour!!! This place has 3 buffet tables, one stir-frys and noodles, one fried foods and soups, one raw bar and fruits/desserts. The fried rice was bland and slimy. The egg rolls are the typical vendor supplied ones that most buffets use. There were these little dim sum in a steamer that were probably decent when fresh, tempura battered zucchini was just mush inside. The sesame chicken was watery and had and odd/not good flavor. The chicken and broccoli was about the only thing I liked, but I think it was the freshest item on the line. Sushi looked pretty miserable. The only thing I really could see was that was (maybe) a plus was their seafood selection. Not being one who is excited by seafood, this did nothing for me. There was a raw bar with shrimp and I think mussels, they had very thin looking crab legs and dipping butter, also some sort of octopus stir-fry, and breaded frogs legs. So maybe for the seafood minded patron, this makes up for the poor quality of everything else they serve. It is not enough for me. MY suggestion is go anywhere else. This place is not worth the visit. Sadly the food is quite deplorable in any form and fashion. Pretty bad experience. I just went for lunch today, and it was pretty sad. Most of the fried foods were obviously your 'run of the mill' prepacked eggrolls, crab rangoon,etc...They had a bar with 'American Style" food and it pretty much all looked too disgustingly dried out to even try! All of the chicken at the stir fried bar was bad quality, and really the only one that didn't have a strange taste was the Chicken and Broccoli. They do have a hibachi bar, which I should have tried, but at the time the one chef looked like he had his hands full. Literally the worst food I've ever eaten but provided a really good environment for holding with friends over really really bad food. There were two sad koi fish eating pebbles. Cool love tester machine. The teriyaki meat stick was ... really really bad. All of the pastries were stale and overall just gross. Musty rice. Really bad at recovery. The fish dishes were drowning in their own grey water. Almost vomited at the sight of the mayonnaise mussels. The pasta salad sucked, somehow. It's impossible to ruin white people food but they did. Overcharging for bad food. Friend almost vomited in the middle of jungle jims. Not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach. Update: Because I enjoyed the food yesterday afternoon, my husband and I decided to order a late lunch for ourselves and our two kids. I quickly came to realize I had first timers luck with this restaurant. For under $20 there was a great amount of food but it doesn't matter when the quality suffers. My husband asked if he could order chicken fried rice without onion, he was told he could so he ordered some. It had onion. The chicken was tender and amazing but the onions meant he couldn't eat it nor our kids. My pork fried rice has huge pieces of pork but they looked odd, they were brightly pink and tough. The egg rolls was great. The general tso chicken was not even remotely spicy. The orange chicken had unpleasant orange peels in it that were difficult to pick out and insanely massive pieces of plain broccoli. My husband purchased a buffet to go container and added some mushrooms that were great, cocktail hot dog thing wrapped in bacon that were so-so and some unidentified puff pasty looking things stuffed with a sweet mashed potato kind of mystery goop that was gross. Neither my wife or myself found the food appealing and the price was a bit much for the quality of the food. Both of us did not feel well after we ate and got home, Not sure if it was the food but we felt fine before we ate.
