The vegetable spring roll was not great - very strange texture and not much taste. Ordered the pork lo mein lunch special which was advertised with a choice of soups. I chose the hot and sour soup and was charged an additional dollar, even though that was clearly a side choice on the menu (no mention of any upcharge for that). There was also a choice between white rice or brown rice (with lo mein?) They filled the To Go container with rice and put the lo mein on less than half of the rest of the container. Best Chinese food I have had in a while hands down! The general tso chicken is amazing.

Tried the new location, food had flavor but definitely not fantastic......the Chinese cuisine seemed to be watery and the portions were much smaller that most in their category. I've been eating here for about 13 years now and it's always been consistently delicious! I recently tried their sesame chicken for the first time and it certainly won't be my last time ordering it. I have only had take out from here, and that usually takes a hit on presentation/freshness when you get home etc, but not here. Every time I have gotten take out here it has been delicious. They take just as much care packing a take out as they would a dish it seems. I have had items from the japanese menu and the chinese menu and the food is just great, and Im pretty picky when it comes to sushi and sashimi! I actually go an hour out of my way to get take out from here when Im in the mood for good sushi. They pay attention to special requests, and ordering online is so easy and they always get it right. I like that I can check boxes for sushi and submit, and dont have to call in. My only nit pick might be that the rice ball for the sushi is a little too big. Sometimes awkwardly big. This is our new(ish) go-to Asian restaurant locally. We've eaten in the restaurant as well as delivery (more typical ... maybe once a week for the last year). There always friendly and accommodating you can customize pretty much anything, and the food comes fresh and hot. Some of our favorite dishes off the menu are chicken curry, Hunan chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, chicken and broccoli, and for appetizers we like their chicken wings (notice a theme here?? ) Aside from our favorite chicken dishes, we also love their fried wontons delicious little crispy fried packages of meat in a wonton wrapper, Crab Rangoon, boneless spare ribs and from their Japanese menu gyoza and shumai. The fact that they have a Japanese menu as well as Chinese is a great asset especially with a family with varied taste like ours. They have an online ordering app at PekingTokyo.net but we find that a call usually gets delivery quicker. An hour vs 30 minutes. The food is reasonably priced and plentiful and consistent too which really is a plus. read more

Fairly average Chinese food. The sesame chicken was decent. The accompanying egg roll was wicked greasy though. The pork fried rice doesn't have that fluorescent yellow color to it, which is nice...I can ALMOST kid myself into thinking it's healthier...yeah right ;) I like the fact that they have online ordering. Peking N Tokyo is great because you can get either Chinese food or sushi at the same place. The sushi is good and once your order starts to add up to $20+ (ask them what they get when you're ordering to make sure you get this deal) they throw in extra stuff like an order of egg rolls or calfornia rolls or a pint of sweet n sour chicken ( for orders over $25) I have eaten-in and gotten take out from there plenty of times and I am NEVER DISATISFIED. First time ordering here. Service was fast and on target. Very friendly staff who took care of a very difficult order. The food was very good with large portions for the price. I was unaware of the sushi offerings until after we ordered. The fried rice is not hibachi or classic hence the four stars. More of a brown rice very surprisingly unseasoned. The final straw ordered online and received my meal short one chefs special roll aprox $9.00 They proceeded to argue with me that the online menu I ordered from was wrong. My go-to Chinese place in Naugatuck. We order from here about once a month. They have a very large menu including Chinese, Japanese, and some Thai dishes, as well as sushi. They also offer fries and onion rings! (There's something about the onion rings from here, they are delicious!) My favorite dishes are the chicken with garlic sauce, chicken lo mein, and of course, the standard beef with broccoli. My guy likes the general tsos. The portions are decent and the price is right. Delivery is generally fast, it depends on the night. When comparing this place to other places in Naugatuck, I generally describe it is "clean" Chinese food (as opposed to "messy") - things aren't smothered in sauce (unless you ask for it). There have been times where I was more in the mood for "messy" Chinese, so I ordered elsewhere. I had to take away one star because lately, the onion rings and egg rolls have been more greasy and the lo mein hasn't been as tasty. Not sure what's going on. read more

Good food & staff was hospitable.....however, for the time we dined there and there were few people, it took forever to get the food. We were a group of 5 and we waited a good 45 minutes for our food. After dinner, we waited another 20 minutes or so for the check that never came. Don't let the ambiance scare you away! The bo' and I were looking for a new spot to get some lunch grub and stumbled upon Peking Tokyo. I had to run to the Bank of America ATM in this plaza so we figured we would give it a shot. When we walked in it was a little scary. Very dim, one customer in the whole place (about 2pm on a Thursday), and the decor looked a little shaken. I almost suggested we leave but something told me to give it a shot. So glad we did! Everything was soooooo fresh! Right down to the egg roll my boyfriend got with his lunch. I NEVER got a FRESH EGG ROLL, what?! Could you tell I was excited?! I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken with pork fried rice and wonton soup. (Lunch special $4.95) My boyfriend ordered the chicken and broccoli, pork fried rice, and egg roll. (also $4.95) What pleasently suprised me was that I liked the pork fried rice. Normally I like when it's yellow, but this one they made was brown. I can't get over how everything was so fresh, they made everything to order. Our waitress was so sweet! She wasn't that "in your face" friendly, but she was so sweet and attentive.
