Wow! I just ate a this place and all I can say is that this place is amazing! I was stationed in Korea and this place has some good food. We had a noodle dish and they actually make the noodles hand made on order! The food is so fresh and the customer service is the best that I have ever had out of any resteraunt in all of Texas! We also had the egg rolls and the Korean crispy chicken wings and all I can say is they are amazing!!! I promise you that once you eat here you will come back. Great food and great experience! This place opened up four months ago and I finally got to try it out. It is AMAZING. The food is so delicious and fresh. The owners make everything from scratch and you can tell by the quality. The portions are big -- you will be satisfied with one order. The food is VERY aesthetically pleasing as well. The owners are very friendly as well; if you have the time to dine in, talk to the owners and hear their story. I took my dad here and I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and he ordered the jia jiang mix. Both plates had HUGE servings, the chicken was hearty and lightly fried, the jasmine rice was the light and fluffy, the sauce was PERFECT, and the noodles my dad ordered had the best texture and taste. We went here because of the many great reviews. I had mongolian beef and my girlfriend had Kung Pao chicken. We enjoyed it. They are a small team so be patient. They are also very kind. If you ask for pictures she has them on her phone. Looked all very tasty. Mine was the best Chinese food I have had in Texas. It was fresh, hot and delicious at a reasonable price. **Cute hole in the wall!!** randomly tried this place downtown and was certainly not disappointed! The atmosphere was quaint and fairly comfortable. The plates were large and relatively cheap for the size (~$8 per plate; included rice). The wings were heavily breaded and huge. I ordered the king pao chicken plate and it was good but will get the orange chicken plate next time... my sister ordered this and it was amazing! Service was a little slow although there was only one waitress in the restaurant and she was working extremely hard! I can't say that it's my favorite but I will be back for sure! read more

Their various chicken options, which we mostly get General's chicken, Orange chicken, and Sesame chicken, all have a mildly crunchy/crisp crust with a tender and juicy chunk of chicken meat in the center. Most of these entrees at other locations have a mushy and soft crust, but Peking really makes this great. read more

We always end up paying $40-$50 in two visits but it is still not quite the Chinese food i am looking for. The vegetable and shrimp was good though. I've tried several different Chinese restaurants in n bell county and this seems to be the best. The general tso chicken with fried rice was super tasty. I liked it because it was the usual saucy filled chicken and it was fresh. Sweet and sour chicken was best in area and Korean noodles were AMAZING. Crab Rangoon egg rolls SO yummy. This little cafe is serving up some pretty authentic Korean cuisine! The portions are plenty and the service is quick! I had lunch a few weeks ago at PEKING Restaurant because of all of the 5 Star reviews. I really enjoyed the service and the food both which were excellent. But it's an older place and as they point out in their bathroom it has an old plumbing/sewage-system. Until they fix their sewage/plumbing issue I have to give it one star as proper sanitation is kind of a big deal. read more

Maybe it's just me, but the one time I went here, the food was mediocre at best. I had the beef bulgogi, which honestly tasted nothing like any bulgogi I've ever had. The egg roll I had was also the most disgusting egg roll I have ever tried, and that's comparing it to frozen egg rolls and Walmart deli egg rolls, which are not egg rolls you'd expect to taste good. The service however, was lovely and the woman who took our order had pictures of every dish they sold, which I thought was very helpful, especially for those who are very visual. read more

We drove 24.7 miles from neighboring city to try this restaurant. We came at 7:45. The restaurant says they are open until 8:00 on Yelp, etc. There is a sign on the door that says they are open until 8:00. The door was locked and people inside paid us no attention. Since moving here, PEKING has been our favorite Chinese restaurant! We absolutely love their fresh noodles, orange chicken, Kung Pao chicken, and we ALWAYS have to get their Yakimandu. Reviewing referrals against my better judgment I was lured in. The food is frozen from bags as is all else on menu at Peking. Since when is zucchini in bulgogi? Perhaps I should say bulgogi watered down zucchini soup. Yellow Spanish rice? Curious. The litmus test was simply order what I was familiar with, that familiarity now being the level of poor quality of food there is exactly the level as portrayed in four star negligent reviews from poor tastes of what I can only imagine considered from those reviewers starving perspective. Trust enough to say, the old adage, if it's in a gas station, beware. Good advice is here to cheer you on, with no further inconvenience than a go to the restaurant at the northwest quadrant of hwy 195 and 190. Absolutely the finest Chinese establishment in this town which now is take-out you'll never regret.
