Client of mine told me about this place today. And boy am i glad he did. Upon entering this place looked really cool inside. They had kpop culture everywhere and on the tv. Lot of drinks to choose from and looked well kept. We ordered several things off the menu and enjoyed it all. I'm not sure what was my favorite because I'd get it all again. Wings were perfect. Kimchi fries full of flavor. And the waiters were on point with everything! Well done for my first visit guys! Thank you much! And will see you again!

I did not expect such a trendy Korean restaurant to exist in Belton. It is such a vibe. I love how they have K-pop music videos playing. My first time visiting, my friend and I shared the mild sweet and spicy chicken wings. These were really good. She had the Korean ramen without spice, and it was very bland. I got the beef bulgogi, which was good, but not as flavourful as I expected. My second time, my friend and I shared kimchi fries. These were sooooo good and flavourful. I was such a big fan. She got the Korean corn dog, which she said was okay. I got the pork tonkotsu, and it was super bland. It was such a letdown. I had never previously had a bad tonkotsu before this one. There was so little flavour, and there wasn't really any sauce on it. I snagged a bottle of sauce from another table, but it didn't really compliment the pork well. The food is notably pricey here. Being able to press a button to call a server is an amazing feature, and they do come pretty quickly. However, during my second visit one of the servers forgot to bring the rice for my tonkotsu, and a different server forgot to bring my to-go box.

Best wings ever. I only order if Garrett is cooking them. Can't go wrong. Take out is quick and easy.

i love that this place is open late and that service is quick and casual. best food to get here are the kimchi fries (with bulgogi of course)!

I have been here several times and have never been disappointed! The service is prompt and I haven't had to wait for a table before. Once seated, you push a button on the table when you are ready to order. The food is delicious! I have tried several menu items but my favorite is the pork belly with kimchi (get it spicy!). The soju slush drinks with popping boba are tasty as well (my favorite flavor is strawberry). They do have loud music playing with music videos on the TV.

The food was amazing and service was nice as well. 8 would have given t stars but was a bit loud. The food wand service are worth the noise I enjoyed the water bottle they gave you from the start kept the water ice cold.

Kimchi Fries with Bulgogi. Good. The Jalapeño was over powering.

K1 The Bloom 11-30-24 Had lunch here with family! Nice dining room and friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and explained a lot of the menu to us. We ordered lots of food! Appetizers and Main Courses. The service was great! They brought the food out at a steady pace! Very good food! We had: TTeokbokki with Ramyun Noodles, Boiled Egg and Mozzarella. Soy Garlic Chicken Rice Bowl. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Soy Pork Belly Rice Bowl. Had a great taste but Pork Belly was a little tough for me. Bone in Wings with Snow Cheese. (Oh my Gosh! Got to try the Snow Cheese!) never has anything like it! Sweet tasting!) Boneless Wings with Soy Garlic. Crispy wings with great garlic flavor! Fried Mandi. Flavorful and good. Kimchi Fries with Bulgogi. Good fries not much of a kimchi flavor. More jalapeño flavor. They were ok but not my favorite. Steamed Mandi. Great taste. Potato Corn Dog with Cheese and Sausage. WOW, I'll be going back for more of this! The cheese was soft and not rubbery, the potato outside had a wonderful crunch to it and the stuff they put on it just made it great. We were very pleased with the service and the food. Will definitely go back.

Good food. But if there's more than 4 tables of customers time stands still. Nothing is streamlined including the design of the parking lot and the seating process. Everyone is in everyone else's way. The previous place was 10 times worse and that's why it failed. Some minor adjustments to make it flow better. Food is excellent

first time, freshest food we've had in a minute!! 10/10 would recommend. our pork came with fresh lettuce, a pot of white rice, sauce, and we were given crisp, cold water once seated. our boba was fire. we also got dumplings... same deal, 10/10 fire

Strawberry yogurt smoothies!!! It's a fine delicacy. It's reminds me of a strawberry cheesecake. Price for a large is very reasonable.

It's not bad but it's also not good. The food looks better on photos than it does in your mouth.

5 out of 5 Living in…read morethe Austin area, you don't expect to find a legit Korean pocha experience in Killeen, but K1 & Bobapop is exactly that--a solid bar food and drinks spot that knows what it is and does it well. We've driven past this place countless times on our way from Austin to Dallas, finally gave it a shot, and we're glad we did. ---- Pros: - Great Korean bar food (pocha-style) - Solid drink menu (soju, soju slushes, and beer) - K-pop music videos playing on the TVs sets the mood - Karaoke bar and Bobapop (boba/desserts) - Open late (until 2 AM Thu-Sat) - Ample parking - Call button at each table for service Side Notes: - Opens at 4 PM daily (Sun opens at noon, closes at 10 PM) - Can get busy on weekends - plan accordingly - Delivery available through DoorDash and Uber Eats What We Got: - Soy Garlic Wings - Galbi - Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes) - Kimchi Fries - Corn Cheese - Soju + Terra ---- Design/Space: K1 has that authentic Korean pub feel - neon signs, K-pop videos on the TVs, and a trendy but casual vibe that makes you feel like you're at a late-night spot in Seoul, not off the Central Texas Expressway. The space is on the smaller, more intimate side, so tables are close together, but that's standard for a pocha. It works for the vibe they're going for. The Bobapop section is a nice touch if you want boba or dessert after, and having karaoke next door gives you a reason to stay longer. It's well thought out as an all-in-one experience. Services/Staff: This is where K1 really impressed us. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. We were greeted right away, and our server walked us through the menu without making us feel rushed. The call button at the table is a nice touch - you press it when you need something, so you're not awkwardly flagging someone down (typical in LA, but not in Austin much). Drinks were refilled, and food came out at a good pace. Compared to some other Korean spots we've been to in the area, the energy here felt right for a pocha--friendly, casual, and lively without being over the top. Food/Drinks: I want to be clear - this is bar food, and that's exactly what it should be. K1 isn't trying to be a fine dining Korean restaurant, and that's what makes it work. It's a pocha. You come here for good fried chicken, some rice cakes, cold soju, and a good time. And on that front, they deliver. Opportunities to Enhance: A couple of small things. One, for how good this place is, more people need to know about it - their social media and online presence could use a push, because this spot deserves more foot traffic. Two, being Korean, would love to see more bar food bites from Korea, but might live octopus with sesame oil + salt might not be something the area is ready for, haha. Again, these are minor--the core of what they're doing is already solid. ---- Summary: K1 & Bobapop is exactly what Killeen needed - a legit Korean pocha experience with great bar food, solid drinks, and a fun atmosphere. It's a spot where you go to eat good fried chicken, drink soju, watch K-pop videos, maybe sing some karaoke, and have a great time. We'll absolutely be back, and if you're in the Killeen/Fort Cavazos area and haven't tried it yet, you're sleeping on one of the best spots in town. Keep doing what you're doing, K1.

The restaurant tacked on a mandatory 18% service charge, which we were told does not go to the staff as a tip. Being expected to tip another 18- 20% on top of a mandatory 18% fee means paying nearly 40% over the menu price. While the staff and kitchen did an amazing job, this kind of deceptive pricing leaves you feeling like you got ripped off. We didnt complain because the server was nice but this is something that needs to be addressed.

Even with some menu items i.e. the chicken tangsuyuk or soups have been weird at times and ive had to say im sorry i dont think I can eat it. They were kind enough to replace the soup with another soup but it makes me wonder why the consistency or flavor changes. The side dishes are the star of the meal for me. I love their sweet soy potatoes always hits the spot for me. Their kimchi is solid and their rotation of other side dishes is always a nice surprise. The lady makes her rounds from time to time and I believe the sound is there too they're both very down to earth and nice people. I will say two of my all time fav dishes are their galbitang and their dolsot bibimbap can't go wrong if I stick with either of those dishes. I was slightly confused the very first time I tried them in late 2024 and felt like I was walking into a sushi bar, but glad they make korean dishes. The service is pretty good, some of them are very polite and helpful sometimes it can get busy and it's hard to get the waiters attention. The feel is a sushi restaurant with the counter in front where they make rolls not too contemporary but not very old either. Go for the service and try some korean dishes a little more expensive than I would like as the dishes are not consistent and some of the dishes are definitely a fusion or a slight twist on the original flavor or tradition taste. I haven't tried the sushi so I can't speak on that but I have seen quite a few customers order it.
