Pelican Seafood will fulfill your seafood craving. This is a butcher, not a restaurant. I went in not planning to buy anything as I was stuffed with seafood from Chuck's across the bridge. I walked around and saw the fresh salmon that was behind the glass and I had to get it. Needless to say, I was very impressed by the quality of it. Made Teriyaki Salmon out of it and the taste was very fresh. I will definitely be back to buy more seafood when my seafood crave returns!

Cooked lobsters with a lemon garlic curry butter and yellow tail snapper.

I live 2 hours away from Pelican Seafood but it's the only one I trust. Not only do they have a "fresh off the boat" selection; but I know Eric only selects the best of the best from all of his suppliers. Once cooked, you can taste the difference. It's truly the best of the best and I'm proud to say he's the best of the best. 5 stars is not enough. If you appreciate good food, you won't be disappointed.

Fresh fish at exorbitant prices. Why pay so much when other stores sell equally fresh fish for less?

They're only open Fridays and Saturdays for lunch, and we were happy we gave them a try. We ate here for Friday lunch with our pugs - you park in the parking lot for the fish store, and you'll see the truck parked right out front. It's right up against the boats/dock/water and has two umbrella covered picnic tables to enjoy your food. The menu has several delicious sounding items, and we chose to share three items so we could taste more. Fish tacos- perfectly fried - crispy and not at all greasy. The sauce was super tasty as well - these are a solid 9/10! Shrimp tacos - blackened to perfection and served with a yummy pico de gallo and sauce. Another solid 9/10! The Ahi tuna appetizer was also fabulous. The fish was fresh and the sauce they added went really well! Another 9/10! My husband enjoyed their tropical iced tea - the service was excellent from the food truck. These people are so nice, and they make high-quality seafood items. We will definitely go back! The only weird thing, and this has nothing to do with the truck, is the Florida Fresh Fish place. I called to confirm of the truck was open and serving food. The woman who answered was VERY strange. At first, she claimed she had no idea there was a food truck right outside. Then she said she would "try and see if she could confirm if it was open". She said she would have to have someone call me back. She asked for my name and number. Then pushed for my last name and an email address. I told her never mind. The food truck is literally 15 feet from the store in the same parking lot... very strange interaction. But we were SO glad we took a chance and they were open! (Don't call the fish store to ask questions about the truck LOL)

For starters, the calamari was perfectly crispy and fresh. Sauce ok, but the calamari was good all by itself. I highly recommend the butterflied snapper with steamed veggies. Delicious! The veggie pasta plate was huge and the pasta cooked to perfection. The shrimp scampi pasta was sooo good. The linguini was perfectly al dente and the shrimp big and plump and yummy. Oh! And let's not forget the mile high key lime pie. Even if you don't care for key lime pie you will absolutely love this one. It's more like a key lime ice cream but better. Servers were fantastic despite the busyness of the place they never neglected to check on us. Great place. Highly recommend.

It can be pretty frustrating, especially if you're visiting for the first time and end up driving around in circles trying to find it. Once you arrive, though, it's worth the effort. The restaurant is located right on the water next to the boat ramp and has an enormous amount of parking. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a full bar area. The outdoor seating is especially nice since it's completely covered on the deck but with all of the bushes and plant surrounding the deck, you're not really getting much of a view. This visit, we opted to sit at the bar and were lucky enough to snag three seats together. Our bartender was awesome and did a fantastic job throughout the meal. They don't serve liquor here, only beer and wine, so I ordered a rosé. The bartender recommended a cute little $16 bottle that came in its own mini bucket. It was adorable and paired perfectly with my meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Ahi tuna with broccoli and a side salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband, however, definitely won the meal competition with the shrimp stuffed with crab meat and mashed potatoes. I stole a bite, and wow--it was incredible. The flavor and texture were outstanding, and I'll absolutely be ordering that next time. One of the funniest parts of the visit was the bartender's T-shirt featuring Anthony Bourdain flipping you off on the back. They were selling them, and I couldn't resist buying one. I'm pretty excited to wear it. Overall, we always enjoy coming here. Great waterfront atmosphere, good food, friendly service, and plenty of parking make it a place we'll continue to visit.

The market is in a very nice location and was easy to get to. Parking was also not a problem during our visit. There was street parking available along with parking at the library and another parking lot next door, so we were able to park and walk over without any difficulty. The waterfront setting makes it a pleasant area to walk around, but the market itself was much smaller than I expected. During our visit, there were only about 15 vendor tents set up, and most of them seemed to be selling clothing, jewelry, crafts, and similar items. Since this is called a farmers market, I expected to find vendors selling fresh produce, plants, locally grown foods, baked goods, or other farm-related products. Unfortunately, I didn't see any of those during our visit. It is certainly possible that the number and types of vendors change from week to week, and perhaps we just happened to visit on a particularly slow day. The vendors who were there had some interesting things to look at, and the location itself was very pleasant, but it simply wasn't what I expected from a farmers market. Overall, if you are already in downtown Fort Pierce, it may be worth walking through to see what is there that day, but I don't think I would make a special trip based on our experience. Enjoy!

He had it for a while, God only knows what data base I'm now part of, but hey, great reviews, let's go. The guard gave my license back as well as a parking permit. Asked about the restaurant, he said drive to the stop sign and turn left. There's a row of shops and a Sauders sign. Did get a tiny bit confusing...none of the storefronts was Sauders. There was a dingy looking alley opening...found them. Walking down this dingy alley (there were three old window a/c units running up high, I mean old, tired, dirty and all three are dripping water into buckets below them on the concrete). We get to a tired residential screen door and that is the entrance. We were greeted right away. Said two for dinner. The hostess asked if we had reservations...we said no. We asked to sit inside. This is not the restaurants fault, but the marina is under construction, there are no docks or boats outside the windows, just rebar and dirt, however the windows and screens were dirty. There are dive bars and old restaurants with charm, Sauders is neither. Inside it just looks very tired and extremely dated You know how Restaurant Impossible or Bar Rescue showes usually start, with John Tapper and Robert Irving having a lot to say. They would have a lot to say at Sauder's. Carolyn, our server, lived up to the reviews that mention her. She was prompt, knew all the specials and did a good job throughout our meal. We ordered some Calemari. The batter was falling off, so if you tried to pick up a piece, you basically had a piece of squid. The marinara sauce was hot and had a good flavor. We had the shrimp linguine Alfredo. There were plenty of shrimp. Tha pasta was spaghetti, not linguine, but cooked properly. Could have had a little more sauce but tasted OK. The meal came with a salad. Everything was fresh, cold and crisp. Carolyn informed us the thousand island was made at the restaurant and it was OK. Summary...the food was ok, the dining room was tired, oh yeah, the rest rooms were behind doors rusting under their paint in that dingy alley and my wife said the one she went into was not nice. I honestly don't know how you could give this a 4 or 5 rating. If I knew what we were going to experience, I'd never give my driver's license to that guard and we would find another of the many seafood places in town. Sorry Sauder's, you need to make an investment in your business.
